2024 46' VANDAL EXPLORER

40 KNOT - FOIL ASSISTED CATAMARAN

The 46' Vandal is the tough boat ready to take you on your next adventure.  Powered by twin Yamaha 425 XTOs the boat comfortably cruises at 30 knots with a top speed of 40 knots.  The foil assisted catamaran design handles a rough sea from any direction due to the hull shape and the additional lift of the foil.  This boat comfortably makes 25 knots into a 4-5 head sea, and will significantly outperform most other boats in her class.

Unlike most open boats and center consoles of similar size the vandal explorer has a full flybridge and carries a 3.2M RIB Tender (10.5') complete with a 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke and integrated davit.

Built to an industrial spec she looks rough and rugged from the outside but has comforts within.  Hull #3 is equipped with a king berth accessed via the port companionway a head and full galley.

Designed as an open boat where you can coexist with the elements there's plenty of protection when the weather turns within the pilot house distinguished by excellent visibility through the large negative windows.

Our new 46 foot sail yacht combines timeless classic lines with modern keel and rudder appendages, the latest available deck hardware and all sailing controls placed within easy reach of the helmsman. This allows for the new Eagle 46 to be sailed easily single-handed. After all, we believe that sailing an Eagle should be uncomplicated fun. The Eagle 46 will turn heads not only because of its elegance and timeless appeal, but also because of her exhilarating sailing performance.

The modern classic lines on the Eagle 46 makes makes her sail in elegance. Combined with the use of modern design and materials also her performance will stand out. This 46 foot sail yacht will be available in 2 different hull materials with matching set up at choice. Ideal for cruising single handed or with family or friends.

The Eagle 46 standard has a Vinylester hull and deck and aluminum mast and boom.

This can be upgraded to a Carbon Edition with corecell carbon hull construction  combined with carbon mast and boom, rod rigging and North Sails 3Di Endurance sails for more race orientated performance.

Both version can be equipped to your personal preference

The first 2 hulls are built in the Carbon edition.

The Eagle 46 is a new design in the range of Eagle yachts with similar styling and performance as previous models like the Eagle 38 and Eagle 54.

The renown Hoek Design classic styling in combination with modern sailing performance is coming out perfectly in this new design of the Eagle 46. The light weight carbon construction with modern fin keel and spade rudder allow for good light wind performance as well as enough stability for comfortable sailing with short handed crew.

The large and deep cockpit stands out from comparable yacht in this size. The flush decks and easy accessible deck gear will make sail handling quick and simple from the cockpit. The long overhangs and low freeboard will give the stunningly beautiful look and under sail she will perform well balanced and fast. Down below the Eagle 46 allows for ample interior space with enclosed bathroom and a small galley station with a spacious salon and sleeping accommodation to allow for longer periods on board.

The pristine deck boasts flush hatches and is adorned with EcoDeck® decking, a sustainable material crafted from renewable, solvent-free resins. At the end of its lifecycle, EcoDeck® can be effortlessly recycled.

In the interest of user-friendly handling and solo sailing, the jib winches are strategically positioned within easy reach of the helmsman. Simplifying the mainsail control, an electric captive winch, discreetly installed beneath the deck, lets you trim the mainsail effortlessly with the push of a button.

To maintain a clutter-free deck, the powered headsail furler is discreetly placed below deck, while the boomvang and backstay are conveniently managed from the helm via the bespoke Leonardo Yachts hydraulic panel.

The Eagle 46 sailboat is full of personalized features and can be customized by each owner to meet his or her specific needs.
