IONIAN PRINCESS is a distinguished 150’ (45.73m) motor yacht, crafted by two renowned American shipyards: Christensen Yachts and Palmer Johnson. Originally built in 2005, IONIAN PRINCESS is a tri-deck yacht with six staterooms featuring a versatile layout, expansive interior spaces, and ample exterior deck areas ideal for entertaining.  IONIAN PRINCESS underwent an extensive refit in 2022, where the interior was entirely reimagined through a collaboration between the previous owners and Yacht Next. Raymond Young

Raymond Young joined Hatteras of Lauderdale after graduating from University of Tampa, Florida. He has captained yachts extensively on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans including the Western Mediterranean. He currently holds a 1600 / 3000 Ton USCG Master License, as well as a MCA CLASS IV license.

Raymond has been involved with the construction of several large yachts including a custom 82' Hatteras, 112' Broward, 98' Westship, along with a 124', 141' and 157' Christensen. He managed each project from contract, to delivery, to captaining.

Over the past 20 years, Raymond has developed a wealth of knowledge from building, managing and running yachts. IONIAN PRINCESS (45.7m / 150’) is a mega charter boat built by Christensen in 2005. She can accommodate up to 12 guests overnight and 12 guests cruising. She is normally offering East Mediterranean as well as West Mediterranean luxury crewed charters during summer seasons. At times, she will also accept charters in the Black Sea, including North Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania and even Georgia, while during winter months she is often prepared to cruise in North Africa and Red Sea, including Jordan, Israel and Egypt. Thanks to her twin MTU V12 superyacht engines, she comfortably cruises at speeds of around 12kn (fuel consumption around 450 l/h) while reaching a top speed of 18kn.  Her best features are classic Greek design, two master suites of equal size and attentive crew of up to 10 including the captain, providing best super yacht service.

$1.8M price drop on 46m Christensen motor yacht Ionian Princess

The 45.7-metre Ionian Princess has had a $1,800,000 price drop. The yacht recently had a change of central agency and is now listed with Sean Doyle and Wes Sanford of Northrop & Johnson and Neil Emmott of Superyacht Sales and Charter.

Constructed in GRP by American yard Christensen and finished at Palmer Johnson , the voluminous tri-deck superyacht was delivered in 2005. She underwent a comprehensive refit completed in 2022, with further upgrades since. The exterior was designed by Setzer Yacht Architects and the original Donald Starkey interior was refreshed by Yacht Next.

Ionian Princess' layout includes a full-beam master suite on the main deck featuring a private office and a marble-clad bathroom. A full-beam VIP cabin, three double cabins and one twin cabin on the lower deck offer accommodation for a party of up to 12. There are quarters for a crew of nine.

Her sundeck, with a 10-person Jacuzzi, is claimed to be the largest in her class and well suited for hosting large parties on. The brokers pointed out that Ionian Princess has good charter potential.

The richly-decorated interior has a formal dining room, that can be closed off for privacy with etched glass doors, and guests may also enjoy outdoor dining on the aft part of the upper deck or up on the sundeck, where there is a barbecue. At night the skylounge can be transformed into a cinema. A swim platform and gym will appeal to the more active guests.

Ionian Princess' engines were replaced and her engine room was completely overhauled during the refit. The 460GT, ABS-classed yacht for sale 's top speed under twin Caterpillar diesels is 15 knots and cruising speed is 12 knots.

Ionian Princess is now asking $10,900,000.
