Incredible show at the Gothic in Denver last night! Go see them if you can score a ticket!!! Don't forget to wear a captain's hat and be prepared to dance!

Best $20 I've spent on a show in years!! The band was absolutely phenomenal!! The closest I could ever get to seeing Led Zeppelin and The Who! The newly renovated Variety Playhouse is now perfection, there isn't a bad seat in the whole venue and the sound quality is perfect! This was the best father daughter concert!

This 2023, one of the most sensational purveyors of yacht rock will be delivering a series of incredible live shows across North America! Yacht Rock Revue has always been one of the most anticipated retro revival rock groups with their high-energy shows and exemplary tight sets! This summer, the band will be kicking off the much-awaited outing called the Reverse Sunset Tour! This much-awaited trek will cover over 30 shows across the U.S. and bring in a number of select special guests! On Friday, 25th August 2023, Yacht Rock Revue will make a coveted stop at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre in Atlanta, Georgia! Fans can expect the iconic band to deliver many of their remarkable hits, like “Step,” “Give Me the Night,” “Float,” and many more! If you’re keen on taking a nostalgic trip to the ‘70s and ‘80s, hurry and score your tickets before they’re gone!

Yacht Rock Revue’s 2023 outing, Reverse Sunset Tour, will provide soft rock fans with their yacht rock fix! Kicking off in July, the band will embark on a 38-show tour spread across summer, fall, and winter! Fans who loved Kenny Loggins, Micahel Mcdonald, Stephen Day, Dan Fogelberg, and more can see the amazing high-energy set performed by the Atlanta-born seven-member group. Their music style is reminiscent of the songs beloved by music fans decades ago. Yacht rock has been categorized for their tendencies towards soft rock mixed with a variety of other genres, such as R&B, jazz, contemporary, and pop, among others.

The Reverse Sunset Tour is slated to feature a rotating list of special guests, comprising soft rock legends like Kenny Loggins, Pablo Cruise, Richard Marx, and more. On Friday, 25th August 2023, Yacht Rock Revue brings along Pablo Cruise as their featured guest. Hence, fans can absolutely look forward to a jam-packed evening with career-spanning hits!

Since emerging in 2007, Yacht Rock Revue has been the hometown music hero in Atlanta. Initially a side project, the band scored numerous weekly gigs in local clubs. The setlist primarily consists of iconic ‘70s and ‘80s rock hits – which have been coined “Yacht Rock,” named after the 2000s web series that features the same type of music. The band became one of the most prolific live performers to come out of Georgia. Yacht Rock Revue has been recorded to perform over 100 shows a year across various cities, including Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, and many more.

Over the years, the band has covered fantastic hits by their idols. However, they finally dropped their debut album with all original tracks, Hot Dads in Tight Jeans. The 2020 album contains outstanding singles, such as “Doobie Bounce,” “Step,” “Bad Tequila,” “Song for Another Night,” and more. Last year, the band released a string of new singles, “Float,” “Give Me the Night,” and “Snow.” Fans are speculating that there is an upcoming studio effort in the works. Straight No Chaser Kicks off Summer With the 'Yacht Rock Tour'

“The Yacht Rock Tour” runs through July 14.

A cappella group Straight No Chaser, whose fall tour has become a holiday tradition for families around the country, recently kicked off a different holiday season: summer.  The beloved nine-member group embarked on “The Yacht Rock Tour” and released Yacht On The Rocks last week, their ode to the summer’s most enduring soft rock genre.

Today the group gave fans a look behind the scenes of the making of the album with Toto’s David Paich, who appears on the medley “Toto,” a mashup of “Hold The Line,” “I’ll Be Over You,” “Rosanna,” and, of course, “Africa.”  

In addition to giving fans a peek behind the curtain of what it’s like to record a Straight No Chaser album, the video also touches on pop culture history: Paich reminisces about working with Quincy Jones on Michael Jackson’s iconic album Thriller and “Ghostbusters” songwriter Ray Parker Jr. makes a cameo.

Produced by Nicholas Niespodziani, singer, guitarist, and spiritual leader of Yacht Rock Revue, Yacht On The Rocksalso includes classics like “Escape (The Piña Colada Song),” “Sailing,” and “After The Love Has Gone.”  A full tracklist is included below.

Initially formed at Indiana University, a cappella group Straight No Chaser emerged at the forefront of the modern day a cappella movement, and has since sold more than three million albums worldwide, garnered more than a billion streams on Pandora alone, and sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide.  

In the fall of 2022, the group performed in more than 60 cities across the US with multiple sold out shows, including their 26th consecutive sell-out in Indianapolis.

Yacht Rock Tour 2023

Don’t forget that we had a killer January with a fundraiser in Fort Lauderdale, FL for Chef Emeril Lagasse’s foundation.  In addition, we had sold out shows at Tiki Bar, Venice West, and a fun one at Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert.  We followed up in February with a new venue in Los Angeles:  The Knitting Factory!  And, we just booked another Whisky a GoGo concert for August 19 so stay tuned.

Yacht Rock March 2023

Ahoy Southern California!  We’ve got you surrounded this March.  In fact, take a look at the flow for this month and limited tickets left for Campus Jax in Newport Beach for St. Paddy’s Day.

Tour de Force

Now, let’s look ahead to some of our future notable shows that you’ll want to put on the calendar.  The Yacht Rock Tour 2023 will certainly include our beautiful residency at Sea Legs at the Beach beginning April 29 .  In fact, Yachty by Nature will come back to the beach for July 15 and October 21 as well.  Our love affair with Sea Legs continues for our 6th year in a row and there’s really nothing quite like Yacht Rock in the sand down in Huntington Beach.  Hope you can join us.

Yacht Rock Tour May

The month of May takes us back to Florida for another corporate show and then a Napa private party as well.  Quite the yacht rock tour indeed!  Moreover, we look to end the month with something truly special in California but you’ll have to wait for our announcement!!!!  June 3 brings us back to the friendly confines of the HB Biergarten at Old World.  Importantly, we begin our concerts in the park for the summer that month.  We kickoff the summer with Laguna Niguel summer series on June 23.  In fact, we follow up that date with a show in Garden Grove on June 29.  Although we won’t be in town for 4th of July, we return for a Concert in the Park in Simi Valley on July 8.

Summer Tour

As July kicks in to summer gear, we’ll come back to the beach on July 15 for a show at Sea Legs!  We follow that up with Campos Winery up in Discovery Bay on July 22.  Importantly, please stay tuned for a huge announcement for the OC Fair on August 5!  You heard it here first :). Additionally, Yachty by Nature will be on tour the weekend of Labor Day this year.  More to come, but we return to the friendly shores of Delta Coves in the Sacramento River Delta.

Keegan Bradley goes from last man in to BMW Championship winner, on to East Lake

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (AP) — Keegan Bradley went from the last man in the BMW Championship to a winner Sunday, closing with an even-par 72 for a one-shot victory that opened up all sorts of possibilities he never imagined possible a week ago.

Bradley pulled away from mistake-prone Adam Scott early on the back nine and delivered a clutch shot into the par-5 17th that all but sealed the seventh victory of his PGA TOUR career, and the most unlikely.

He was biting his nails a week ago, needing help just to finish at No. 50 in the FedExCup and qualify for the second postseason event. And then he managed the mile-high air, the wind and the Sunday pressure to win at Castle Pines.

“It just shows why you've got to grind it out because you never know how fast it can switch,” Bradley said on the 18th green, where he stood alongside his father. Mark Bradley, a longtime club professional, had never seen his 38-year-old son win in person.

The victory moved Bradley from No. 50 to No. 4 in the FedExCup, sending him to the TOUR Championship where he will start four shots behind Scottie Scheffler in a 72-hole chase for the $25 million prize.

There's also another cup in play. Bradley, the first Ryder Cup captain to win a PGA TOUR event since Davis Love III nine years ago, moved to No. 10 in the Presidents Cup standings. The top six after the BMW Championship automatically qualified, and Jim Furyk gets six captain's picks. Bradley will surely be in the conversation after winning for the third straight year.

Bradley heard plenty of “U-S-A! “U-S-A!”” chants as he went along the back nine at Castle Pines, the loudest coming on the 18th when thousands of spectators were allowed to encircle the green for the final touch of a big week.

Scott, a runner-up at the Genesis Scottish Open last month, was tied for the lead until starting the back nine with three soft bogeys, two of them with a wedge in his hand from the fairway. He birdied the closing par 5s, but lost a big chance when he overshot the 15th green from 101 yards.

He closed with a 72, though it also moved him into the top 30 who qualified for East Lake.

Sam Burns finished with a Sunday-best 65, including a bogey on the par-5 14th, and shared second place with Scott and Ludvig Åberg of Sweden, who let another good chance get away with too many Sunday mistakes.

Åberg was 12 under on the par 5s going into the final round, and he played them at even par. He closed with a 71.

Justin Thomas somehow made it to East Lake for the TOUR Championship, even though he was already home in Florida in the same nail-biting spot as Bradley was a week ago.

Thomas needed plenty of help to get the 30th spot, and it came from former British Open champion Brian Harman and Alex Noren. Harman needed a par on the last hole to stay in the top 30 and made double bogey.

Noren, who has never made it to East Lake, was poised to finish in the top 30 when he holed a 25-foot par putt on the 13th hole and made birdie on the 14th. But he finished with three straight bogeys, the most damaging on the par-5 17th, the easiest hole at Castle Pines. He had to lay up from a drive in the rough and hit wedge into a bunker. He shot 75.

The 17th is where Bradley, who finished at 12-under 276, all but sealed it.

Burns had posted at 277. Åberg and Scott remained close. Bradley hit a 5-iron between two bunkers to a back left pin on a firm green to 16 feet, the closest shot of the day. He missed the eagle chance, but it gave him a two-shot lead going to the 18th.

And while he missed a 4-foot par putt that only determined the margin, he reacted with energy that has come to be expected from the 38-year-old New Englander. He thrust his arm in the air and soaked up the “U-S-A! U-S-A!” chants.

Bradley earned $4 million for his second title in the BMW Championship, also winning at Aronimink in 2018 when he was the No. 52 seed in what was then a 70-man field.
