How to buy and sink a Yacht in BitLife

Sink a Yacht!

how to buy yacht bitlife

If you are trying to crash a Yacht for the Wolf of Wallstreet challenge in BitLife, you first need to buy a Yacht. You can purchase a Yacht by getting a  Boating License  via the License tab.

Under the License tab, you will need to click the option that says Boating License. Doing so will allow you to take a Boating License test for  $200 . Taking and passing the Boating test requires answering one question related to boating correctly.

If you are unsure about a question, we have a Boating License test guide with all of the answers. That said, take the test, and if you pass, you will be able to purchase a Yacht. To buy a Yacht, you will need to click the Asset tab on the Main Page in BitLife.

Under the Asset tab, you will need to look for the Boat Dealer. The Boat Dealer will sell a random selection of boats. So if you don't see a Yacht in the selection of boats, try aging up. Doing so will refresh the selection of boats for sale.

how to buy yacht bitlife

If you manage to find the Yacht, purchase it, and you will be able to start trying to crash it. To crash your Yacht, you will need to find it under the Asset tab . Under Assets, you will see your Yacht on the first page. Click your Yacht and then find the option to take your boat out to sea.

Every time you take your boat or Yacht out to sea, there is a chance to suffer an accident . However, if you want to continue your playthrough, we recommend learning to swim before you take a Yacht out to sea.

If you learn how to swim, you will increase the chance of surviving a Yacht accident while at sea. To learn how to swim, you will need to join the swimming club in high school.

BitLife Full-Time Part-Time challenge is now live in the game and players are wondering how they can get freelance gigs and complete it.

  • MORE : BitLife Euphoria Challenge Guide

This week's challenge will give players the difficult task of earning a lot of money while not doing full-time jobs. Here is how you can complete the challenge.

To complete the BitLife Full-Time Part-Time challenge, players need to complete the following tasks in the game.

  • Work 10+ Freelance Gigs in High School
  • Never hold a full-time job
  • Work 40+ hours in part-time jobs after High School
  • Purchase a mansion
  • Purchase a yacht

The first task requires you to work 10+ freelance gigs in High School. This is quite a simple task, and you just need to ensure that you are keeping a watchful eye on the Occupations tab in the game. Whenever there is a freelance gig available, make sure that you accept it and you need to do this more than 10 times.

To never hold a full-time job, you need to keep doing freelance gigs or part-time jobs to survive. This isn't a hard task as such, and as long as you are not accepting a full-time job while going through this challenge, you will be able to complete this task automatically. To work 40+ hours in part-time jobs after High School, you need to follow a similar process as freelance gigs. However, instead of accepting freelance gigs, you need to get employed in a part-time job. Also, you need to ensure that your total time crosses 40 hours while taking part in these jobs.

Purchasing a mansion might take a while since it involves a lot of money. You should be able to save money eventually considering that you will be doing freelance gigs and part-time jobs. For getting a yacht, you need to ensure that you have a license. You can get that in the activities section. Once you have the license, you should be able to get the yacht.

How to Get and Crash a Yacht in BitLife

Never go full Leonardo DiCaprio

how to buy yacht bitlife

BitLife can be truly amusing at times. It’s a very popular mobile life-sim game available on Android and iOS, where you can do many different things with your made-up character. You can either live a (seemingly) everyday life, become a criminal (because there’s a lot of illegal stuff to do within the game’s limitations), or anything in between.

Today, we are choosing violence and chaos, and Prima Games will tell you how to get your own yacht and how to sink it. Why would we buy a yacht in BitLife just to sink it? Because we can. And we need the Wolf of the Wall Street achievement (challenge) completed.

Where to Buy a Yacht in BitLife and How to Crash it

First of all, we advise you to learn how to swim. Not just “basic” learn to swim; aim to be an Olympic swimmer or something when it comes to your skill level because once you crash your yacht, you want to stay alive.

Under the Licences tab, you need to purchase a boating license to be able to buy and pilot a yacht. It doesn’t cost much at all. A lot cheaper than a yacht, of course. A yacht costs millions (depending on your choice), but you will still need to be rich to afford it.

Boating Licence Test Answers in BitLife

A natural obstacle between you and this challenge is, of course, the test, which you can take as soon as you come “of age” (18+). Here’s a cheat sheet for the test because why would you know how to drive that thing when the sole intention is to crash it as soon as possible?

  • What is the minimum required number of flares you should have on your vessel? 3.
  • From what side of the vessel should you never anchor? Stern-side
  • What is 7.5 MAX kW (kilowatts) related to? Engine Power
  • What is 10 MAX km/h related to? Speed Limit
  • What’s the name of the back of the boat? Stern
  • What’s the name of the front of the boat? Bow
  • What’s the name of the side of the boat? Port
  • What does a sign with a crossed-out Gas Station and Fan mean? No Combustion Vessels
  • Required type of fire extinguisher you must have? B-1
  • What does a sign with a square “Swim Area” mean? Not Swim Area (it’s a trap). The answer is: Exclusion Area .
  • Buoy with an orange tip is: Mooring Buoy
  • Buoy with an anchor symbol is: Anchorage Buoy
  • Green marker with the number 9 on it should be passed on: Port-side
  • Red marker with the number 8 on it should be passed on: Starboard-side
  • Which vessel should give way? (In the picture there are power vessel and a wind vessel) Power vessel
  • Which vessel should give way (In the picture, two vessels are heading for each other) Submissive vessel
  • Which vessel should give way (In the picture, there are two vessels about to collide, and they are moving in a “V” formation) Left vessel
  • What does a marker with a SLOW sign mean? Controlled area
  • What does an orange flag with a black square and circle mean? Distress
  • What does a red flag with a white diagonal line mean? Diver
  • Life Jacket question answer: Size and Fit

After you obtain your new pricy vessel you just need to keep driving it as much as you can until RNGesus decides you’ve had enough and procs an accident on your voyage. We hope your character is healthy enough to be able to swim to safety (make sure to maintain your health). If successful, you’ve won the challenge.

This page explains how to sink a Yacht in Bitlife.

How to Purchase a Yacht

First and foremost, you will need to make a lot of money. If you wish to afford a luxury such as boats or houses, you must be wealthy. As a result, you should prioritize your character’s income and ensure that you can buy a yacht. When your character becomes wealthy, he or she will need to purchase a yacht.

Following the acquisition of the necessary resources, you should proceed to the licensing page and obtain a boating license. Under the License tab, select the option that reads Boating License. This allows you to take a Boating License exam for $200. To take and pass the Boating test, you must properly answer one question on boating.

how to buy yacht bitlife

That said, take the test, and if you pass , you will be able to purchase a Yacht. To buy a Yacht, you will need to click the Asset tab on the Main Page in BitLife.

How to Sink a Yacht

In BitLife, sinking the yacht is considerably easier than buying it. To crash your Yacht, go to the Asset tab and choose it. On the first page of Assets, you will see your Yacht. Select your Yacht and then the option to take it out to sea. If you don’t find your boat, check for the Boat Dealer under the Asset tab. The Boat Dealer will sell a selection of boats at random. So, if you don’t find a Yacht in the list of available vessels, try aging up. This will update the inventory of boats for sale.

There is always the possibility of an accident while taking your boat or yacht out to sea. If you wish to continue playing, we recommend learning to swim before taking a Yacht out to sea. You will need to join the high school swimming club to learn how to swim. Learning to swim will boost your chances of surviving a yacht accident at sea.

How to crash a yacht in BitLife

Image of Zack Palm

You can receive multiple luxuries in BitLife if you become wealthy enough. Saving up enough money for these activities can take quite a bit of time, or you can work on the finances with one character and pass it down to the child. How you go about this is up to you, but inheritance can be beneficial. For those curious about owning a yacht, how can you go about crashing it? Here’s what you need to know about how to crash a yacht in BitLife.

Before you can think about owning a yacht, you’ll need to get your boating license. You can do this by going down to the licenses tab in Activities and passing the test. First, you’ll need to answer the randomly generated question correctly to receive your license. After you have it, it comes down to selecting the correct yacht you want to buy from your local boat salesman. The process of buying one is similar to purchasing a car.

Once you have your yacht, the next step is to take your boat out and actively use it. There’s a chance for it to potentially get into an accident every time you take your vehicle out, which is under the Assets tab, underneath the boat, and choosing to take them out for a ride. However, there’s always a chance your character might die from this. To prevent death, we recommend making sure your character is healthy, and they learn how to swim by attending swim lessons at a young age or joining the high school team.

Eventually, by taking your yacht out enough times, it will crash. Although, because your character is fit and knows how to swim, they have a good chance of surviving.

BitLife: How to Complete the One Peace Challenge

Image of Melissa Sarnowski

This week, we pay homage to the popular — and incredibly long — One Piece series with a new set of tasks. We’ll make some international friends, explore the world, steal random packages, and even own a pirate ship. So, get ready. Here’s how to complete the One Peace live challenge in BitLife .

How to Complete the One Peace Live Challenge in BitLife

This challenge offers a lot of freedom, but it’s also expensive. Here are the tasks you need to check off:

  • Be born a male in Brazil .
  • Befriend a man from Japan .
  • Befriend a woman from Norway .
  • Pirate 5+ porches .
  • Own a pirate ship .

Be Born a Male in Brazil

First, you want to start a Custom Life. From here, select Male as your gender and Brazil as your Country . As far as Place goes, you can pick any place in Brazil you’d like. And if you have any Job Packs, you can choose a Special Talent. However, you don’t need one since we aren’t seeking a specific job.

While Aging Up, you want to focus on setting up your character to get a job that pays well. We’re going to be emigrating and buying a pirate ship, so you need to keep in mind that it’s going to be expensive . I got lucky with my Custom Life because my character’s parents died young and left me over seven million dollars. But my plan before that was to become a Social Media Star .

Befriend a Man from Japan

BitLife emigration menu

Once you’re an adult and have some money, go to Activities > Emigrate and choose Japan from the drop-down list. If it isn’t there, close out the window and go back in until it appears. After you arrive in Japan, go to Occupation > Jobs and grab any of the options you qualify for. Finally, go to Job > Your Job > Co-Workers and tap on any male option. Then, choose Befriend . If he accepts, you check off this task.

Befriend a Woman from Norway

Here, we repeat the above task, but instead of Japan, emigrate to Norway . And once you have a job, go to Job > Your Job > Co-Workers and find a female option. Hit Befriend , and if she accepts, you check off this task. I did this one before the Japan task simply because Norway came up in the emigration options first.

Pirate 5+ Porches

This task is pretty simple, and it’s one of the crimes that has a low risk of being arrested. But to be safe, I saved this task for last in my game. When you’re ready, go to Activities > Crime > Porch Pirate . Pick any house, and you either get a message that you got an item and sold it, or that you ran away for fear of being caught. Repeat this step at least five times for the task to be marked off.

Own a Pirate Ship

This task is the most subject to RNG. It’s also the most expensive since Pirate Ships cost millions. When you’re ready, go to Activities > Shopping > Boat Dealer . Pirate ships don’t appear often, so if it isn’t there, your only choice is to Age Up and check again . I was incredibly unlucky here. It took over 40 years for the ship to appear for me, but that finally checks off the last task.

And that’s how to complete the One Peace live challenge in BitLife . The tasks aren’t overly difficult, but you have to compete with RNG and build a decent amount of wealth. From here, check out our guides hub for topics like all Job Packs ranked worst to best or how to become a Model .

BitLife 1.32 Luxury Update Guide: Everything You Need to Know About BitLife Version 1.32 aka The Luxury Update

By: Author Tim McNeil

Posted on Last updated: March 12, 2020

Candywriter released BitLife for iOS (and later for Android) devices in September 2018, and as the game approaches its second year of availability, it remains as popular as ever and maintains its staying power very well for a game released that long ago. The premise of the game, in case you haven’t played it yet, is that you will be asked to create a virtual human character, or a Bitizen, and guide their life decisions up until their dying day, may they be about school, work, family life, and more. It’s like owning a virtual pet but much, much better, and it’s all up to you if you want this Bitizen to live their best…or their worst life.

The best thing about BitLife is that the game just keeps getting bigger (while still relatively lightweight enough in terms of storage space taken up) and better, and there’s still a ton of things that can be added to make the game even more realistic than it already is.

Every few weeks or so, Candywriter releases new updates that come packed with a ton of new or revamped features, and that’s again the case with version 1.32, or the Luxury Update — this is your chance to make your Bitizens truly live the high life by buying planes, boats, expensive jewelry, and other goodies that may or may not have actual bearing on gameplay. Even if they don’t, they’re still nice add-ons nonetheless, so read on to find out all about BitLife version 1.32 and its new features.

Introducing The Shopping Sub-Menu (And The Revamp Of Assets)

In previous versions of BitLife, your one-stop shop for house and car shopping was the Assets menu, which featured, under its sub-menus, the various options for realtors and car dealers. This was, of course, only limited to Bitzens 18-years-old and above for house buyers, and for car buyers, anyone who has a driver’s license. Those features, however, are no longer available in the Assets menu. Instead of going there, you will now have to head over to the Activities menu, and scroll down to Shopping, which features Car Dealers and Real Estate Brokers as the first and third types of shopping you can do in this sub-menu. (As a bonus tip, the Go Shopping option now appears under Assets, so you can go to the Shopping sub-menu easily if you haven’t seen the sub-menu just yet.)

bitlife proposal

The Luxury Update, as we mentioned, introduces ranges of luxury items which you can buy, typically if you’ve made millions and millions of dollars — either through multiple generations of successful Bitizens (for paid players), or if you’ve earned a fortune through a high-paying job such as Brain Surgeon …or become a famous singer or actor. Now, you’ll have a plethora of choices if you’re looking to throw away that virtual money on something you probably w on’t be able to afford in the real world, such as boats and planes in the Specialty Vehicle Dealers section.

Related: BitLife Ghostbusters Challenge Guide: How to Complete the Ghostbusters Challenge

Then again, anyone who’s proposed to their significant other knows that buying a nice engagement ring is often a key part of popping the question, hence a small luxury expense (in comparison to other luxuries) to get that ring. The Jewelers section is right in between the car and house dealers, and in there, you can buy engagement rings, as well as other types of jewelry such as earrings and pendants. You can open up your wallet and pay up for legitimate items, or visit the “shady” jeweler if you’re looking for fake stuff on the cheap, though as we’ll explain later, you probably wouldn’t want to go this route if you’re hoping your partner says “yes.”

Aircraft Ownership – Flaunt Your Riches With Any Kind Of Plane

The first facet of the Luxury Update we’ll be discussing in depth is aircraft ownership. No doubt, you’ve heard of celebrities and other rich public figures — may they be actors, singers, businessmen, or politicians — who have their own private planes and fly them around during their free time. With version 1.32 of BitLife, you can make this fantasy (well, for 99 percent of us) as close as you could get to reality by heading to the Specialty Vehicles Dealer section of the Shopping menu and choosing from a wide range of planes. These may range from basic gliders to helicopters, or even fighter planes and passenger planes — you may not be the next Maverick or Ted Striker, but if you want to fly around in a military airplane or a jumbo jet, those options are available if you’re loaded enough to buy one.

aircraft in bitlife

Like cars, all planes have a starting Condition depending on whether they’re new or used — green means it’s in good working condition, orange means it has some issues, red means it’s seen much better days. There are also two types of aircraft dealers available — one that specializes in conventional airplanes, and another that offers “specialty” aircraft like helicopters and fighter planes.

Of course, the game won’t let you purchase such an expensive and potentially dangerous vehicle to operate unless you have the proper training or the relevant license. Before buying an airplane, you’ll need to complete 40 hours of flight school, available in the new and revamped Licenses sub-menu under Activities. Flight School can be found underneath Driving License, and upon clicking here, you will have the choice to take one hour (which would usually be little more than $100 for U.S. Bitizens, $150 for U.K. Bitizens, and so on) of classes or to splurge and go for 10 hours.

If you’re a millionaire, completing 40 hours of flight school is just a small investment in the grand scheme of things, so you can simply choose the 10-hour option four times and move on to the next step, which is getting your pilot’s license.

bitlife flight school

Like the driver’s license, your “test” will consist of one question, where you will be asked what a certain symbol represents. Given how most of us probably drive their own cars but only a tiny minority knows how to fly a plane (and that already includes commercial pilots), you may need more help from Google than you normally would when taking the driver’s license test. But there’s also no time limit here, and it’s the only way the game will allow you to buy a new plane and add it to your hangar!

Related: BitLife 1.31 Challenges Update Guide: Everything You Need to Know About BitLife Version 1.31 aka The Challenges Update

Once you’ve purchased a plane, you can go to the Assets section, click on the specific plane, and fly it any time you wish. This is a great way to boost your Happiness stat due to the enjoyment it provides, and while we’re figuring it’s possible for Bitizens to crash their plane and die (especially on one with its Condition bar at red or orange), we’ve yet to experience it in testing. Likewise, the same applies to gifting an airplane to a loved one, which is also possible thanks to the new update.

Watercraft Ownership – Sailing Boats And Riding Jet Skis

Aside from airplanes, it’s not uncommon these days for the rich and famous to buy their own boats and sail them, and that’s not mentioning how even the not-so-rich and not-so-famous can afford a jet ski for some fun and excitement on the water. If you’ve been hoping for the day that your Bitizens can take advantage of such luxuries, then consider yourself lucky, because version 1.32 also includes the option to buy various types of boats and other types of water-based vehicles.

bitlife boating test

There is only one boat dealer available in the Shopping sub-menu, but these merchants sell all types of equipment, ranging from cheap and small rafts, paddle boats, and dinghies to jet skis to more expensive yachts and tugboats. If you don’t have a boating license, you can go ahead and purchase the cheaper boats and jet skis and go to the Assets menu, tap on the water vehicle of your choice, then choose Ride to head out to the water for a big boost in Happiness. However, if you’re looking to buy one of the larger, more expensive boats, that’s when you’re going to have to go to the Licenses menu and apply for a boating license — the first option of the four that are currently available.

Applying for a boating license is much less time-consuming than applying for a pilot’s license, but once again, Google may be your best friend more so than it is for the driver’s license questions. There are still no time limits here, but once you pass the test, you’re free to purchase a tugboat, yacht, or any other bigger boat and sail them to your heart’s content, as long as you’ve got the millions of dollars to pay for them.

Similar to the aircraft options, we’ve yet to see our characters drown or get lost at sea, or see their loved ones suffer a similar fate after getting gifted any of the aforementioned water craft. We’re guessing it’s possible, but we haven’t seen any reports either on the BitLife Reddit about such unfortunate ways for Bitizens to die.

Jewelers And Jewelry – If You Like It, You Should Put A Ring On It

Proposing in BitLife used to be very easy. First, get your Relationship bar with your significant other up to green, which simply means no cheating, no insulting, spend as much time as you could with them (or compliment them/have a conversation with them), and if they’re not saving it for marriage, make love to them. The tricky part, of course, would come when you’re planning your marriage ceremony and considering whether to have your fiance/fiancee sign a prenuptial agreement. Other than that, proposing was a walk in the park. Now, however, you’ll actually need to choose a spot where you wish to propose to your partner, and make sure you’ve got a ring to put on their finger.

As we mentioned above, there are two places in the Shopping section where you can purchase engagement rings — a legit jeweler and a “shady” one. While shopping at the legit jeweler’s store (as designated by the light blue gem), you may be able to get a legitimate, mint-condition gold ring for a few hundreds of dollars, but if you’re willing to splurge several thousands, there are far more expensive options with gem stones that you can choose from. You can also buy earrings and pendants through both jewelers, though you won’t have much purpose for these items aside from using them to add to your net worth.

bitlife fake ring

As for the shady jeweler, which will be designated by the black gem, the word “shady,” and words such as “Faux Jewelry” — thus leaving no doubt regarding the shoddy quality of the items on sale — that, too, can be an option for buying rings and other jewelry for less than $100. You will, however, want to buy them at your own risk — most NPC partners on BitLife can tell a fake when they see one, so expect them to reject your proposal in most, if not all, cases! Nobody likes a cheapskate, after all.

The price of your engagement ring may have an impact on the chances your partner will say “yes” when you pop the question. But aside from that, you also need to choose the ideal venue to drop down on one knee and ask your virtual partner if they will marry you. For example, you’d probably want to choose Lookout Point or Classical Concert if you want them to say yes.

Proposing at a Tailgate Party (with lots of rowdy football fans grilling ‘em up) or at a Cattle Farm (lots of cows and, well, cow dung), on the other hand, is definitely not a good idea, regardless if you’ve got a rather expensive ring to put on their finger. Tap on your partner’s name in the Relationships menu, go to Propose, choose a logically romantic venue, make sure you don’t have a fake ring with you, and you’re all set. (You can also choose to propose without a ring, though the odds that they’re going to say yes won’t be that good.)

As for the other types of jewelry, the options will be similar to the ones you have for heirlooms — you can discard, donate, clean, gift, or sell them, in specific. But the option to have them appraised is also available — as it costs some money to get an appraisal, it’s not really a good idea to do this, as you’ll probably be told it costs less than what you originally paid for, no matter if you have it cleaned (for a much smaller fee) and brought back to perfect condition.

Change Your Appearance With The All-New Salon Options

Just as we had hoped several updates ago when Candywriter introduced the new-look Bitizen icons, the Salon now comes with options where you can customize the appearance of your virtual characters, including their hairdo, hair color, and facial hair. These options will become available at certain points in your life — your can go to the Barber to get a haircut (but actually change up your ‘do) by the time you’re 12, get a Dye Job at 18, and, for male Bitizens, get a Shave (more like choose your own facial hair) by the time you reach the age of 21. As usual, you can find the Salon and Spa sub-menu under Activities, close to the bottom of the available options. In addition, take note that all of the new styling features are free of charge.

how to change hair color in bitlife

What does this mean in terms of gameplay? As far as we can tell, your choice of hairdo, hair color, or facial hair does not have any impact on your Looks. That means even if you opt for red hair while leaving your beard as black as your natural hair color, your Looks won’t suffer due to the lack of color coordination. (At the moment, there is no option to change the color of your facial hair.) But it does a great deal for the aesthetic element of BitLife, as you no longer are at the mercy of the game’s randomization when it comes to your Bitizen’s changing hairdos as they reach certain milestone birthdays.

There is, however, one gameplay aspect where changing your look at the Salon does more than simply alter your appearance. If you’re a notorious criminal, changing your hairdo/hair color/and/or beard does seem to greatly reduce the likelihood of being caught, even if you keep on committing crimes. That’s right — no longer is undergoing a sex change operation the only option you have if you’re making your Bitizen live a life of crime and helping them avoid the long arm of the law.

Vehicle Maintenance – You Can Now Keep Your Cars (Or Planes And Boats) For Multiple Generations

In previous editions of BitLife, the longest a car would normally last before breaking down entirely would be about 70 years — that’s an entire lifetime if you bought the car in your teens, or two lifetimes for paid players controlling characters across multiple generations. With the new vehicle maintenance options, however, you can keep them in the family for more than just two generations — provided you’re diligent enough to go back to each vehicle and financially solvent enough to pay the required maintenance fee year after year.

bitlife subaru legacy

That’s right — the more vehicles you own, the more you’ll have to pay each year for maintenance, and the more you’ll have to tap on each vehicle and pay the maintenance fee once per year in order to ensure they don’t break down before their time. The costs may depend on the price of the car, plane, or boat you purchased, so if you’re trying to maintain a used Ford Focus, it won’t cost you as much as maintaining a Bentley or a Lamborghini, and definitely not as much as any kind of plane or higher-end boats.

Related: BitLife 1.29 Update Guide: How to Mess Up Your Bitizens’ Lives in BitLife Version 1.29, aka The Criminal Update

What does vehicle maintenance do? As we’ve observed, it does not change a vehicle’s condition for better or for worse — it just maintains it at the same level, which makes yearly (or almost-yearly) maintenance sessions a must if you want them to last for ages, and possibly hundreds of years. If you miss an annual maintenance session, the Condition will decline slightly, and if you regularly don’t take your vehicle to maintenance, chances are they’ll be worthless, non-operational scraps of junk by the time they reach the age of 25. It may be expensive and it may especially be time-consuming, but once again, maintenance is key if you don’t want your rides breaking down.

Odds And Ends – Other New Features, Scenarios, And Things We May Have Missed

Aside from the new and/or improved features we discussed above, there are a few smaller tweaks that we’ve noticed or were advertised in Candywriter’s changelog for version 1.32. In particular, the developer mentioned that it is now possible for children to hang on to “hard assets” once their parents die. This would come into play if you’ve made your will out to your child, for instance, and you die/get killed before they reach the age of 18. Once this happens, the child will keep any vehicles, houses, or heirlooms that can be found under Assets once you start playing as them — naturally, they won’t be able to drive the vehicles just yet or make any other “adult” decisions regarding these items, but at least they’ll have something to look forward to once they turn 18.

bitlife fear of beer

If you haven’t upgraded the game to version 1.32.1 yet, please do so if you want to choose your own names for your children! When version 1.32 rolled out initially, many players reported a bug where they cannot choose names for their kids, leaving them no other option but to go for the randomized name chosen by the AI, or to hit the “Random Name” link in order to have the AI select another name. The new version 1.32.1 patch squashes that bug, thankfully, as well as a few other issues that emerged when 1.32 rolled out.

Regarding the random “refinements” and “tweaks” mentioned by Candywriter in the changelog, we’ve seen a few new coronavirus-related scenarios, including one based on the dumb (and totally fake) claim that you can get the illness by drinking Corona Beer. This one, however, is simply for fun and for giggles and won’t have any bearing on your Bitizen’s life trajectory, just as many of the other pop culture-relevant scenarios that have come and gone.

Also, players who are controlling criminal Bitizens may now notice that the infamous “blind man” now has a buddy who could call the cops on you or catch you in the act. This “deaf man” can also be targeted if you’re trying to pick their pockets or steal their vehicles, but don’t let their impairment fool you — they’re just as capable of detecting what you’re up to as the average stockbroker, DJ, hobo, drug addict, and all the other colorful NPCs that line the streets of the cities in BitLife!

How to become a Kingpin in BitLife

Image of Rijit Banerjee

Becoming the Kingpin in Bitlife is an arduous task of dominating the streets as a small dealer, slowly making your way up the ladder, and becoming the main person in your drug cartel.

In Bitlife , Kingpin is the highest position to achieve in a drug cartel and has its perks. You can declare turf wars, introduce new drugs in the market, and many more things befitting a crime lord.

If you’ve got your hands on the highly-anticipated Dealer job pack , you can start your climb through the ranks. We’re going to make it easy for you to gain infamy so you can rule the streets. Here’s everything you need to know about becoming a Kingpin in Bitlife .

Bitlife – How to become a Kingpin guide

Picture showing different special talents that you can choose in Bitlife.

To become a Kingpin in Bitlife , you have to be a natural at dealing drugs to your customers to kickstart your career in the drug cartel. To do that, make a custom life and select “Dealing” as your natural talent while boosting attributes such as smarts and looks to help you.

Once you have done that, you can age up your character until you attend primary school, go to the activities option, and select crimes to commit some petty crimes, increasing your infamy level. Pick options like pickpocketing and porch pirates , which are relatively safe and should keep you from ending up in juvenile jail. After you turn 18, use your high infamy and choose a special career in dealing by choosing any of the five drug cartels.

After you become a dealer, you start your career by having some product with you. Now, you have to get your infamy, dealing, and standing stats up to get promoted to the next level. To improve your dealing, go to Turf and find people to sell your stuff.

There are two things to consider to have a perfect sell every time without many rejections: The drug preference of the customer , which you can understand by opening their profiles, and changing your prices sometimes according to quantity . If someone is looking to buy more product, consider selling it at a lower price than the market to gain their trust and make them a loyal customer. You can also deal your stuff with your friends and family to increase your stats. Make sure to deal with a fixed number of people, as selling it to everyone might invite police disguised as customers—which can give you jail time.

Picture showing a dealer dealing to his customers on the streets in Bitlife.

To increase your standing on the turf, choose the rough-up option on rival dealers to remove your competition and keep your consumers happy with an overflowing supply. Once you make enough deliveries and give the complete cut to your Lieutenant, you should be promoted to Runner.

A Runner visits different countries and does drop-offs to increase the cartel’s revenue. The most important part is to punish people are trying to steal your product while going on your Supply drops and making sure your product is intact. After that, the game will present multiple scenarios where you have to choose the safe options/locations to drop the product and complete the task. If you don’t get caught during your Supply drops, your Kingpin should promote you to Manufacturer.

As a Manufacturer, you need to make new variants of the drugs by mixing them slightly with other products, increasing your production and selling them. You need to keep a close eye on the market and if the response is good and demand is high, you should reach your goal in no time to reach the next rank, Lieutenant.

At this point, your days of struggle are over and all you need to do is maintain good relationships with your cartel members. You can choose people by selecting the occupation tab and selecting the cartel members option. Now, you can compliment people to raise your approval rating and even party with them.

Now, there are three patchs to become the Kingpin from here. You can choose the Mutiny option and hope to overthrow the Kingpin and your cartel members help you. If you’re not confident in this approach, you can call in a silent hitman attack or murder him by going to the crimes section under activities and choosing an option to end his tale. The last and the slowest way to become a Kingpin is just to wait until your Kingpin dies of natural causes , and you should be asked to become the next Kingpin in your Drug Cartel.

Once you become a Kingpin, you gain complete control over the cartel and inherit all the wealth of the previous captain in line, allowing you to live a life of luxury and adventure. Next up, you can use our guides to become a famous socialite or complete the Olympic Striker challenge in BitLife .

BitLife Kingpin

How to become a Kingpin in BitLife

Image of Madison Benson

BitLife’s Dealer Pack is about joining a cartel, taking complete control over your streets, and rising the ranks to Kingpin or Queenpin. There’s a lot of money to make and equally as much danger that can ruin your character’s life or even end your playthrough instantly.

How to become a Kingpin or Queenpin in BitLife

Becoming a Kingpin or Queenpin in BitLife requires purchasing and owning the Dealer job pack. Without it, you won’t have access to cartels or the ranks that come with it. In short, you’re required to spend money on this expansion pack or Boss Mode to unlock every current and future special career.

Joining a cartel

If you already have the Dealer pack, you’ll gain the dealing special talent, which’ll help you succeed quicker in your future cartel. Once you make your character, age up until they turn 18 before heading into Occupation, Special Careers, and Dealer. Choose any cartel and try to join them for a chance to receive an invite.

BitLife cartel

There’s a chance the cartel will deny you entry into their ranks. I got in immediately on my first two dealer characters without committing any crimes since they had the dealer special talent. After trying it with a third, they got denied, with the cartel requesting they get their hands dirty. You can get around this by committing other crimes throughout your character’s life, like pickpocketing, shoplifting, or even more challenging ones like train robbery .

Cartel ranks

Once your BitLife character joins their first cartel, you can head into the Job tab to view its infamy, standing, and turf control. Before you can become a Kingpin or Queenpin, you’ll have to get through the following ranks:

  • Manufacturer
  • Kingpin/Queenpin

Since you start as a dealer, your first goal is simple: gain control of your first street. Enter the Turf menu, go through each person, and attempt to sell drugs to them. You’ll slowly gain control over the street as you make successful trades.

Reaching 100 percent will impress your Kingpin and often result in an almost immediate promotion to Runner. Otherwise, keep at it for a couple of years until you receive your first promotion.

Succeeding as a dealer

When selling to people on your street, there are two stats to consider: their vices and profession. People with your cartel’s drug as their vice will make them more willing to buy, so focus on maintaining good relations with them. People with different vices also occasionally say yes, so don’t skip them. Lastly, while most professions are fine, you’ll want to avoid cops and rough up rival dealers rather than sell to them.

BitLife turf menu

There’s also a chance you’ll run into undercover cops throughout your time as a dealer. You can try to run away or cooperate and deal with the jail time . What you do here is entirely up to you, but just be careful as you approach different people.

You’ll also have opportunities to choose between selling pure forms of your cartel’s drug or ones mixed with other substances. In some cases, you may even have multiple drug types to pick. Both have their pros and cons; selling mixed versions can make your buyers angry the following year, but they’re cheaper to produce, allowing you to lower the costs slightly without much penalty. I tend to stick to selling pure forms, but you can safely experiment with both without much issue.

After gaining control of your first street, assuming you don’t annoy your lieutenants and Kingpin or Queenpin, you’ll get a promotion to Runner. Becoming a runner unlocks Supply Runs as your next primary money-making method. You can keep selling on the streets for extra money, but supply runs are your go-to for your next promotion.

How to perform supply runs

Supply runs are tricky in BitLife , as losing products with the wrong packaging or drops happens very often. A lot of this is luck-based, but there are a few areas to focus on:

  • Have good packaging that’s unlikely to break and will fit the products.
  • Call attention to contacts that try to take some of the drugs.
  • Pick quiet locations for your drop location.
  • Don’t wait too long for a good drop location.

BitLife packaging event during a supply run

Packaging is an important part of the run, as you can easily lose product with poor packaging. I often struggle with this part, too; fortunately, it won’t completely kill your run as long as the rest of the process goes smoothly. Nonetheless, I’ve had success with options like hollowed-out pens, tubes of mascara, and deodorant cases, while options like pool noodles, mason jars, and pizza boxes often fail. Generally speaking, the more fragile something is, the more likely it is to be considered poor packaging.

The next thing that often happens is a cartel contact trying to take some of the product for themselves. Call attention to this immediately, as you’ll often get some extra supplies as an apology.

Another option you might find is a random event where you and your cartel take part in some leisure. I usually pick the options that are safest for my character or the product and haven’t run into many issues here.

BitLife supply run thief

Lastly, and by far the most important aspect, is your drop location. While there is a degree of randomness here, you’ll want to focus on quiet locations. Below are some examples that often succeed for me:

  • Rural areas
  • Parking lots
  • Back alleys
  • Baseball field

However, even the quietest locations can have some hiccups along the way. For example, while a forest is often safe, you can have squirrels eat the product or your cartel members get lost while looking for it. Similarly, while parking lots are usually safe, the supply crates can occasionally burst open. I’ve yet to find a location that works every single time, so be careful and don’t be afraid to wait once or twice for a better spot.

Once you complete seven supply runs with most of the product intact, you’ll receive your promotion to manufacturer, which involves some interesting strategies.

Manufacturing the right products

As a manufacturer, your main goal is to create new drug recipes using various cutting agents that generate profit. The exact profit needed for a promotion varies by cartel, but you can expect it to be between $75,000 and $100,000 cumulatively.

BitLife cutting agent list

Being a manufacturer is one of the most challenging roles in the cartel, as you have to pay attention to the cutting agent, percentage, and the product’s demand. While there are multiple strategies you can use for this, the main idea is creating recipes that are in high demand, have a relatively low cut percentage, and a solid agent that won’t draw too much attention to itself.

One strategy is to have a recipe with only 10-20 percent cutting agent to make the difference subtle. Alternatively, you can go the opposite direction and make your cutting agent 90 percent of the mix to create massive profits within a couple of years. I find I generally have more success with the latter as long as the initial test subject reacts positively.

BitLife manufacturing recipe

You’ll also want to make sure you sell some of the product yourself. Even if it makes a ton of money, you usually won’t get a promotion until you sell a few batches yourself.

Once you reach your cartel’s profit goal for your manufactured goods, you’ll receive a promotion to lieutenant. From here, becoming Kingpin or Queenpin is fairly simple and shouldn’t take much longer than a year or two.

Overthrowing the Kingpin

Now that you’re a lieutenant, it’s time to be nice and friendly to everyone in your cartel. You’ll need to overthrow the current Kingpin, requiring you to gain the trust of every other member so you can band together and take power. Approach each cartel member and give them compliments and gifts until they have high relationship stats with you before choosing Mutiny.

BitLife Kingpin rank

Once you begin overthrowing the Kingpin, you’ll see options to use the Assassin’s Blade to finish the process instantly or pick a method from a drop-down menu. I find that I have the most success when promising rewards to the other members. If your plan works, they’ll overthrow the Kingpin, with someone new taking on the role.

In some cases, someone else will take on the role of Kingpin, preventing you from reaching the rank yourself. If this happens, spend a couple more years in the cartel to gain seniority before befriending everyone again and attempting it a second time. Having seniority and a bit of luck will usually get you there. After your attempt succeeds, your BitLife character will take on the role of Kingpin or Queenpin in the cartel.
