Family Membership
$515 ($540.75 with tax).
Any person who is married or permanently coupled and their spouse/partner, or single parents, and all their dependent children. Dependent children are defined as:
- A child of a member who is under the age of 18
- Any unmarried child of a member who is under the age of 26 and who is a dependent due to continuing education.
Family members are entitled to all club privileges including the right to vote, hold office, sponsor prospective members, rent club facilities, skipper in club sanctioned races and launch watercraft from club property. These privileges extend only to the persons named in the membership
Senior Membership
$255 couple ($267.75) $185 single ($194.25).
ONLY FOR EXISTING CLUB MEMBERS, not available to new members. These members have attained the age of 70 years and have belonged to NLYC for at least 30 years. They must also maintain a residence in Wisconsin for at least part of the year. The Senior Member’s spouse/permanent partner will also be considered part of the membership.
Single Membership
$346 ($362.25 with tax).
Any person who is unmarried, has no dependent children and is 26 years of age or more. An Individual member is entitled to all club privileges including the right to vote, hold office, sponsor prospective members, rent club facilities, skipper in club sanctioned races, and launch watercraft from club property. These privileges extend only to the person named in the membership
Emeritus Membership
ONLY FOR EXISTING CLUB MEMBERS, not available to new members. These members have belonged to NLYC as an adult for 50 years or more. No voting rights, no skipping in club sanctioned races or other club privileges of the Club are available except for attending Social functions.
Junior Membership
$81.00 ($84.00 with tax).
Any unmarried per son under the age of 26 who does not otherwise qualify under a Family Membership. A Junior member must be sponsored in writing by a Club Member who is willing to assume financial responsibility for the Junior Member. The Junior Member is entitled to skipper in club sanctioned races and launch club-sanctioned sailboats from the club property. Voting rights and other privileges apply only to those 18-26. The club privileges only apply to the person named in the membership and not their parents, although Junior members are encouraged to bring family members as guests to Social events at which the Junior member is present.
Correspondent Membership
$85 ($89.24 with tax).
Shall be granted to any person/family who lives permanently out of state and who wishes to maintain or establish a news and information link to the club.
If I have a child aged 18-25 who is out of school, employed and is not planning to sail or participate regularly in club social events do they have to register as a Junior member? Answer is No. If you want to bring them to a party or to the club with you as a guest you are welcome to do so. They would not be able to come and use the club or grounds without you since they are not members.
The paper copy of the Membership Application has been removed from the website. We really need people to register through the on-line form. It saves us tons of work and also prevents clerical errors. The club has an active membership that are involved in sailing for pleasure and competition, with a racing program that has over 80 races scheduled each season. Our club races OPTI, X Boat, 420's, MC Scow, C Scow and E Scow. A range of instructional programs are offered to both adults and children and for the experienced or novice sailor. The atmosphere is friendly and informal. Today, the fine facilities, excellent racing program, and frequent club social activities combine to offer a wholesome family experience.

Delafield’s many outdoor activities converge at Nagawicka Lake. It’s a 981-acre lake with a maximum depth of 90 feet, giving visitors opportunities to boat, swim, and fish. Native fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.
The Nagawicka Lake Yacht Club was established in 1895 exclusively for sailboats. Based on the shore of Nagawicka Lake in Delafield, Wisconsin has a quaint lake-side club house. The club has an active membership that are involved in sailing for pleasure and competition, with a racing program that has over 80 races scheduled each season. Boats can be launched onto Nagawicka Lake from Naga-Waukee County Park located on Highway 83. There is a park sticker or entrance fee to the park. Check with the link below for more information about how to purchase the annual sticker.
