SIR Rod Stewart has jetted off on a luxury holiday to Porto Cervo with his family and model wife, Penny Lancaster.

The legendary rocker, 79, was tagged in a series of snaps with his family as he relaxed in the sunshine on the stunning island of Sardinia.

The singer enjoyed some time in the Mediterranean sunshine with sons Aiden, 13, and Alastair, 18, and daughters Ruby, 37, and Kimberly, 44.

His baby grandson Otis, who is just over a year old, and his two sons-in-law Adam Sumner and Jake Alick were also there.

The family posted a series of adorable snaps from the holiday on Instagram, giving fans an insight into their trip.

In one of the photos, the family can be seen enjoying a luxurious yacht trip out in the Mediterranean Sea.

Penny, 53, was all smiles as she held a very excited Otis up on a white comfy couch with the wind blowing through her hair.

Rod can be seen having a chuckle at his grandson's joy as he lay on a cushion next to Aiden.

In another snap shared by Ruby, Adam was "fed six beers" by the adults as he said at the edge of a speedboat.

And Aiden looked to be having the time of his life as he straddled the edge of a speedboat surrounded by luxury yachts.

Rod also shared a snap of himself on a luxury boat in wearing a crazy black and white striped outfit.

He told fans: "I'm all striped up on me holidays".

Rod is currently enjoying some time with his family before his shows in Las Vegas later this month.

He is set to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for two weeks as part of his The Hits show.

The rocker will take to the stage in front of a packed crowd from Wednesday, July 24, until Wednesday, August 7.

Fans flocked to the comments of the Instagram post and wished him a nice time on his family holiday.

One person wrote: " Enjoy your holidays".

Another added: "Ever nice holidays, Rod".

While a third posted: "I'd love to join you in the Mediterranean".

And a fourth chimed in: "Just pure absolute love for this man".

But others were distracted by his choice of outfit.

SUPERSTAR'S SUPERCAR

A LAMBORGHINI that was owned by Rod Stewart for 25 years has gone up for auction at an unbelievable price.

The star bought the 1977 classic on a tour of Australia and had it shipped to his LA pad when he was done.

The Lamborghini Countach only came out three years before this bright red version was snapped up by the musical legend.

It then went up for auction last week with bids starting at £400,000.

The Hot Legs singer couldn't resist the allure of the stunning supercar and even brought it back to blighty with him when he moved back from the States in the early noughties.

Sir Rod is a renowned petrolhead and collector of luxury cars, owning one of just 400 Ferrari Enzos ever made.

He parted ways with the Lambo after a quarter of a century back in 2002 even after it was specially modified by Albert Madikian Engineering in California.

The motor was subsequently converted to left-hand drive and taken back to America and underwent a full remodel in 2022.

This particular Countach is the exceptionally rare Periscopio version, of which only 150 were made in a limited run from 1974-78.

Inside it is trimmed in stylish Tobacco leather and appears to be in pristine condition.

The calico dashboard doesn't have a mark on it and the retro Lamborghini Raging Bull logo is proudly embossed in gold at the centre of the steering wheel.

A fan commented: "Rod Stewart. Love you so much but sort that outfit out. Just no."

And a second said: "Darlin’ I do wonder what goes through your mind sometimes when you look in the wardrobe!"

A third commented: "Beetlejuice!" with a laughing emoji.

Rod Stewart knows how to get some R&R, and he has proven it once again by charting a luxury yacht to sail the seas.

77-year-old Stewart, along with his wife Penny Lancaster , 48, and their kids are all in St. Tropez having what looks like the best time ever on a massive yacht.

The yacht, which rents for around $156,000 is massive. It has an interior layout that sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 1 double cabin, 1 twin cabin and 1 pullman bed.

The ship, named "Emotion 2," is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and spacious seating featured throughout the vessel to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

Penny wore a matching leopard print bikini underneath her slip-on dress and beamed as she competed with her son Alastair, 13, hitting golf balls of the stern of the ship.

Penny was in deep concentration while taking a swing with the club, while Rob who rocked a white robe, opted to keep cool in the shade.

While all the fun was going on up at the top deck. Rod relaxed on a lower deck while taking in some peace and quiet.

The couple have been enjoying their time abroad and recently hosted a party aboard their yacht for their nearest and dearest family and friends.

Penny and Rod's European getaway comes after she recently revealed she and Rod considered expanding their brood through adoption during a candid discussion on "Loose Women" last month.

Rod Stewart Steps Out for Rare Family Vacation in Italy: Photos With Wife and Kids 

Setting sail! Rod Stewart and his loved ones joined him for a rare family outing on a boat in Amalfi, Italy, on Tuesday, August 9. It’s clear from photos that the rocker and his wife, Penny Lancaster , enjoyed their lovely trip with his eight children and grandkids. 

Rod, 77, cozied up with his longtime spouse on the yacht in several photos. He and Penny, 51, later took in the stunning view on one of the ship’s decks with their blended family. The “Young Turks” singer is a dad to Sarah, Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renée, Liam, Alastair and Aiden. His six eldest kids are from previous relationships.

During the trip, the family also spent time in Capri, walking around and enjoying the sights. The quick getaway came in between Rod’s North American tour dates. The Grammy winner is set to take the stage again on August 12 in Mansfield, Massachusetts, and will head to the U.K. later this year. However, he was sure to make time for the ones that mean the most to him this summer. 

On her Instagram account, Penny shared more family pictures with her kids and stepkids. The entire Stewart clan posed together next to the boat, sporting their best beachwear. The television personality also posted separate photos posing with her stepdaughters and stepsons. Their family bond could not be tighter since Penny married the hitmaker in 2007. 

Rod sported some colorful fashion choices during the trip including an all-white ensemble with a bright green Versace bag. In another photo, he donned a geometric-print top with white patterned slacks. The bestselling artist has long been deemed a fashion icon since stepping onto the music scene in the early ‘60s. 

While the songwriter has remained one of the most influential names in music for six decades, he did admit that balancing his career with fatherhood came with its challenges. 

“I have to be several different fathers because of the different age groups of my kids,” Rod explained in a November 2021 interview with People . “You really have to treat all of them as individuals with individual problems.”

He continued, “For instance, my 15-year-old is dating girls, so I had to give him a sex lesson. I just told him what he should and shouldn’t do, but he’s on top of it. He was like, ‘Dad, I’ve got the internet. I know everything.'”

Rod Stewart closed his most recent tour with a very special guest indeed.

Rod Stewart has performed a number of memorable duets over the years.

His current tour has seen him collaborate with touring partner Boy George , but on the final show of the jaunt at Edinburgh Castle on Friday (July 7) he brought out a truly unexpected special guest.

We don't just mean Stuart 'Woody' Wood from the Bay City Rollers and new BCR member John McLaughlin, who duetted with Rod on a cover of The Proclaimers' 'Sunshine on Leith', either.

On the penultimate song of the night, a version of his 1975 hit 'Sailing', Sir Rod was joined by his 94-year-old sister Mary, who joined in with the song and danced with her little brother.

"At 94, she's on a rock'n'roll stage and loving it," Rod told The Mirror . "She has and continues to teach me about life."

Sir Rod passed over a Royal Banner of Scotland flag to Mary for the performance, which was the second of two shows at the Castle.

The dates were the final concerts on Rod's 2023 UK Global Hits summer tour, which also saw performances in Plymouth, Northampton, Durham, Bristol and Hull.

Rod and Mary's brothers Bob and Don died last year within months of one another.

"It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky," Rod said on their passing.

"I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months. RIP Don and Bob ‘irreplaceable buddies’ Sir Rod Stewart 🙏🏼"

Stewart has recently clarified reports that he's planning to retire from touring after his planned shows.

"I'm not retiring. But I want to move on," Rod had said.

"I had great success with  The Great American Songbook , all-American standards, and I've just done a swing album with Jools Holland, which is going to come out next year, so I want to go in that direction.

"I just want to leave all the rock 'n' roll stuff behind — for a while, maybe."

He later clarified via social media: "I'd like to clear up any confusion that I may have caused with my dear fans and the media.

"I shall never retire! I was put on this earth to be a singer and will keep doing so for as long as the good Lord lets me.

"I'll be playing the hits as advertised for the UK, US, South America and Vegas and into 2024 but no retirement as such."

Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster made their 15th wedding anniversary a family affair as they celebrated with seven of Sir Rod’s eight children in sunny Portofino, Italy on Monday.

Enjoying some down time as a group, the Stewarts posed next to a yacht at the harbour as they were snapped for a rare picture altogether.

Model and TV star Penny, 51, shared the photo to her Instagram, writing in the caption: ‘Stewart Clan comes together 💕

‘#family #kids #siblings @sirrodstewart @alastairwstewart @thekimberlystewart @seanstewart @rubystewart @renee__stewart @discostew94 #aidenstewart,’ she added, offering handy insight into who had made it for the snap at first glance.

In the middle of the image keen Celtic fan Sir Rod , 77, and Penny could be seen, with the rocker in a patterned brown and cream shirt, slip on velvet shoes and jeans, while his wife beamed broadly in a white sun dress and sandals.

To the left of the doting dad was daughter Kimberly, 42 , in a leopard print maxi dress, and son Sean, 41, in white trousers and a half-buttoned sky blue shirt, both by his first wife Alana Stewart.

Stood on the end leaning in towards Sean was Penny and Sir Rod’s oldest son together, 16-year-old Alastair, in white flip flops, patterned shorts and a blue T-shirt.

To the right of the couple was Sir Rod’s daughter Ruby, 35, who he shares with Kelly Emberg.

Behind her was Rene, 30, and ice hockey playing son Liam, 27, who he had with second wife, model Rachel Hunter.

Penny and Sir Rod’s youngest son Aiden, 11, was then stood in front of Ruby, who rested her hand on her half-brother’s back.

The singer is also father to Sarah Streeter, 58, who was not in attendance.

Fans were delighted to see so much of the family together, with one commenting: ‘How wonderful.’

‘Great picture! It should be framed!!!❤️’ suggested one follower.

‘What a wonderful father ❤️👏 still working for all of his children,’ joked another.

Penny also shared a collage of pictures on her Instagram Stories, including one of her in a pink floral dress next to Sir Rod, who sang for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee , in a white jacket, black trousers and undone bow tie at the Splendido hotel.

‘Happy memories 15 married years later,’ she penned.

The Sailing star is currently on a break from his North American tour, having played in Toronto, Ontario, last week.

He continues his shows later this month with performances in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Florida among other states.

Rod Stewart Buys His Wife A Boat For Her Birthday

Rod Stewart has treated his wife Penny Lancaster to a narrowboat for her 50th birthday.

Lancaster developed a love for the boats that float past the pair’s country estate during lockdown and started researching them, giving Rod the idea to treat the photographer to her own river barge for her special day.

“In the first (COVID) lockdown, I enjoyed slowing down and having a more simple life,” Penny told Loose Women.

“Second lockdown was a little tougher and I thought I need to think of a hobby,” she went on.

Explaining: “There’s a lovely river near us and there’s narrowboats,” Lancaster said the waterway inspired her.

“I thought, ‘My dream would be to get an old narrowboat to do it up’. And that’s what Rod got me,” she shared.

The singer also helped organise a surprise Zoom party for Penny, inviting all her best friends.

“All of my girlfriends did their own video to one of Rod’s songs,” she recalled, adding: “Normally we could catch up and go for dinner or drinks somewhere, but it was nice to get the extra special attention people paid to remembering the past and their fondest memories about you, we wouldn’t usually get that opportunity in one night.”

Lancaster is Stewart’s third wife. The pair have been married since 2007.

But Mayor Giorgio Devoto said he already had the Italian Riviera resort's thank-you gift ready: a silver platter.

The wedding, he said, was "an extraordinary advertisement" for the one-time fishing village.

"Rod is a regular visitor here, a friend and a warm and charming person," he said.

Celebrity watchers said it was "now certain" the Scottish rocker would get hitched on board his luxury yacht, the Blue Shadow, but the exact location in Portofino's waters would only be revealed at the last minute.

After the ceremony, the guests are expected to move to one of Portofino's deluxe hotels for the reception.

The Hotel Splendido, which over the years has entertained celebrity couples like Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall and Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, is the bookies' favourite to host the bash.

The Splendido's staff declined to comment on the rumours Thursday, saying only that they were fully booked for an "important meeting" at the weekend, down to the last suite.

The couple have invited a select few to their nuptials, including singers Elton John and Michael Bolton.

They are expected to start arriving on the rocker's private jet on Friday.

Stewart, 62, and Lancaster, 36, have been together since 1998 and have a 19-month-old son.

The former model, who will be the rock legend's third wife, says she wants another child as soon as possible - bringing Stewart's progeny to eight.

They have taken their family on a trip to Italy for a summer getaway.

And Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster appeared to be lapping up the sunshine on their holiday, as they relaxed on a luxury yacht off the coast of Elba Island.

The British rocker, 77, and his police officer wife, 51, are believed to be staying on the St David, which sleeps 12 people and costs an eye-watering £274,000-per week to hire.

On Thursday, doting mum Penny shared more images from her break in Venice, uploading a picture of a table piled high with plates of seafood and chilled rosé, as well as a clip of herself enjoying a beautiful punt down the city's iconic canals in a gondola. 

Penny and Rod's Italian trip comes a month after they enjoyed a break in Croatia. 

The couple cruised around the country for a week and shared a number of stunning photos from their travels.

Among the places they visited were Split and Dubronvik, where they were spotted strolling around the walled city, and Trogir, where they enjoyed a dinner date at Calebotta restaurant. 

Sharing a photo outside the eatery, Penny, who looked gorgeous in another little black dress, wrote: "Best dinner."

Penny and Rod married in 2007, and when they're not jet-setting, spend most of their time in their beautiful £4.65million Essex home , although they also own a home in LA, where they spend a lot of their summers.

Rod Stewart, 79, is aware his ‘days are numbered’: ‘Probably another 15’ years

Rod Stewart is going out with a bang.

The 79-year-old rocker said in an interview with the Sun published Friday that he’s going to continue his partying ways in the final years of his life.

“I’m aware my days are numbered but I’ve got no fear,” he said.

“We have all got to pass on at some point, so we are all in the same basket,” Stewart continued. “I am going to be enjoying myself for these last few years as much as I can. I say few — probably another 15. I can do that easy mate, easy.”

The “Maggie May” singer, who is kicking off his final run on his Las Vegas residency after 13 years, noted that he can’t party like he used to.

“I’m not like I was in the ’70s and ’80s and I can’t stay up all night, get drunk and go mad and still have a voice just like that,” he explained.

“Nowadays I have to protect my voice before and after every show. The older you get, the more you have to do that. Water has a hell of a lot to do with it.”

He added, “But no, you think I just have water on my rider? You’re talking to Rod Stewart here, mate. We go mad after every show. There are 13 of us, six women, really great musicians and I make them drink. We absolutely love it.”

Stewart detailed his drinking habits on the nights he performs for his fans.

“Before the show I have a quick Bacardi which I am trying to convince myself is good for my voice,” he said. “After a show we all get stuck into the martinis. Most bands all go home and go to bed but we don’t. We have a big old party.”

However, the father of eight , who has survived both prostate and thyroid cancer, said he’s “more aware of my health now than before.”

“You should be when you start ­getting on a bit. It’s very important,” he said. “I am a bit of a hypochondriac. I think men in particular should take advantage of all the wonderful ­medical science out there.

“When I come back to the UK I am going to have my blood cleaned as I’ve been told it is a real boost to the system.”

Stewart also denied that he takes any pills.

“No nothing. You’ve got to remember I’ve been doing this all my life — I don’t suffer after a show,” he explained. “Sometimes I take an anti-inflammatory if my knee is playing up but very rarely. I don’t need pills.”

“I keep myself very, very fit. I have had the same trainer for 31 years. We work out three or four times a week,” Stewart added.

Following Stewart’s interview about his mortality, his wife of over 15 years, Penny Lancaster, shared a selfie on Instagram with a sentimental message.

“After a couple of crazy days and nights in central London, there’s nothing I like more than getting back out to the country and laying out on the cool grass on an early summers evening,” Lancaster, 53, wrote.

“Breathing in fresh air and the smell of the earth beneath me. Listening to the birds and watching the butterflies, dance about while being chased by my two devoted doggies. I’m at peace, I’m home,” she added.

Stewart and Lancaster, who have been married since 2007, recently enjoyed a trip to Sardinia . They were seen on a luxury yacht with six of the rocker’s eight kids.
