The 78.43m/257'4" motor yacht 'Titan' was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany at their Lemwerder shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Reymond Langton Design and she was completed in 2010. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Reymond Langton Design and she was last refitted in 2021.
Guest Accommodation
Titan has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 19 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Her features include a movie theatre, beach club, gym, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.
Range & Performance
Titan is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B-TA) 16-cylinder 2,029hp engines running at 1600rpm, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 235,000 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. Titan features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 40,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠100A1 SSC YACHT(P) MONO G6 ✠ LMC, UMS classification society rules.

60 metre motor yacht Titan sold
The 60.4 metre motor yacht Titan has been sold with Burgess representing the seller and the buyer introduced by Edmiston & Company .
Built in steel and aluminium, Titan was launched in 1968 by British superyacht yard Brooke Marine and commissioned into the Royal Navy as HMS Beagle . But, after a 2005 rebuild she became a luxurious superyacht and has had several upgrades since. Most recently, in the winter of 2013/2014, she had a complete hull repaint and an interior refurbishment.
The main saloon features a cinema screen and is perfect for small groups or for use as one large open space for entertaining when linked up with the saloon. The library is situated on the upper deck, complete with a flatscreen television and DVD player, as are the gym and bar, with the sky lounge opening up to a sheltered verandah through automatic glass doors.
The accommodation on board is impressive, with 12 guests sleeping in six cabins, including a 90 square metre owner’s suite, plus two doubles and three twins, all with en-suite bathroom facilities.
Four Lister Blackstone diesel engines give her a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 11 knots and she is fitted with Vosper zero speed stabilisers.
Titan was asking €9,750,000.

ABEKING & RASMUSSEN Yachts – Operating Since 1907
The little idea that would become the behemoth known as Abeking & Rasmussen was brought to life at the Weser River in Lemwerder, Germany.
Before this great company set sail, Henry Rasmussen had been known for his prowess as a luxury yacht designer.

Rasmussen sharpened his boat design skills at his grandfather’s shipyard in 1985. He would later work as a skipper (ship captain) and afterward, design racing sailboats. He was well respected in the 12-m class.
Rasmussen also operated a successful shipyard in Denmark. After a while, he decided he could make it as a yacht builder.
Along with his friend and business partner Georg Abeking, Rasmussen founded a new shipyard in Germany. This would evolve to be A&R as we know it today.
Different Leaders
Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts has been led by different qualified people since its birth, but leadership has always remained in the family.
At first, there were two people at the helm of affairs: founders Henry Rasmussen and Georg Abeking.
Abeking departed the company a few years after it was established, leaving Rasmussen to guide the business alone.
After his death in 1958, the baton was passed to his grandson, Hermann Schaedla. Today, A&R is in the care of Hermann Schaedla’s son, Hans M. Schaedla.
Abeking & Rasmussen Notable Launches
Since 1907 when Abeking & Rasmussen was established, it has launched over 6,400 yachts. In 1972, they announced the launch of the fastest motor yacht in the world: Kalamoun .
This boat had a top speed of 46 knots. Of course, there are much faster boats today, but Kalamoun was a wonder in its time.
In 2008, A&R surprised the world again by building a 40.5-m small waterplane area twin hull (SWATH) yacht called Silver Cloud (now known as Nurja ). This vessel has now circumnavigated the world twice.
Whether it’s refitting or building a new yacht from scratch, Abeking & Rasmussen maintain the belief that yachts are extensions of any owner’s style and values.
As such, great care is given to meticulous craftsmanship in their production of world-class yachts.
