Classic international dragon yacht for sale, 29 ft sailing boat for sale.
International Dragon was designed by Johan Anker and built by Camper and Nicholson in 1947, yard No.740.
She was one of 4 Dragons built by C&N that year, including Bluebottle, a wedding present from the Island Sailing Club to the late Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip.
The Dragon is a Scandinavian design from the pen of Johan Anker and was first drawn in 1929. A fast and exciting boat to sail that has become popular worldwide, with many examples being built not only in Scandinavia but right across Europe. The Class is still very active today, and the boats are now built in GRP and raced very competitively.
This boat was completely rebuilt by the previous owner between 2000 – 2002, full list of work done below.
Since 2004 she has been sailed by the current owner in and around Falmouth, used for day sailing in the summer and stored undercover every winter.
She has a custom-made road trailer from Tyrone Snell, making her versatile and easy to keep.

How to sell a classic yacht – 10 things to expect from your broker. Selling a classic yacht can be daunting, but working with a broker can simp…
Johan Anker (1871-1940) is Norway’s foremost designer of racing yachts. From 1905 to 1940, more than 350 boats were launched from the Anker & Jensen boatyard in Vollen, Asker, Norway.
Johan Anker did not only design stunning boats, he also sailed them to victory in major international regattas. His talent for sailing combined with an artist’s eye for lines and an engineer’s drive to constantly improve things, all merged to produce unique yachts such as ROLLO, APACHE, NORNA, SILJA and the popular Dragon class.
Johan Anker lived through a unique period of Norwegian history and the authors explore Ankers passionate commitment to society and his vast network of contacts – encompassing royalty, politics and industry.
This book gives a profound insight into the life of one of the giants of 20th century yacht design and provides fascinating snapshots of Norwegian life before the outbreak of World War II.
Nic Compton
Johan Anker was one of the most important figures in yachting for much of the 20th century, yet remarkably little has been written about him. Until now. This book gives a lively account of the man who more than anyone else mastered the ‘Metre’ Rule and produced a string of strikingly fast and elegant yachts. Along the way, we delve into a unique period of Norwegian history and meet many of the key players in the country at that time. This is a rich biography which will appeal to sailors and landlubbers alike.
Nic Compton is a former editor of Classic Boat, turned freelance writer/photographer and author of 11 books on maritime topics.

Description
Victoria – FIN 76 was designed by Johan Anker and built at his yard Anker & Jensen in 1933. She has spent much of her life in Norway, but was put back to racing trim in 2003 at the Elephant Boatyard and has been seen racing since.
In 2014 Victoria was subject of a restoration which took place in Finland for her current owner. This saw her having a ring frame fitted around the mast, broken ribs replaced, considerable work done below the waterline and her deck equipment updated.
Victoria comes with number of racing and cruising sails, along with equipment which makes her race ready. She is an extremely robust and fast in strong winds.
She is currently lying in Helsinki, Finland ready for her next chapter.
Victoria is another beautiful 6 Metre from Johan Anker, designed and built at Anker & Jensen in 1933. Johan is most famous for his design of the International Dragon Class, however he designed a number of 6 Metres. Before designing Victoria (ex Una IV) he had already designed and built his own 6 Metre, ABU in 1930 in which he was successful.
Victoria (Una IV) was built for Rolf Svinndal in Oslo, she was the second 6 to be built and deigned by Johan in 1933. Rolf commissioned the build of Una IV to take part in the 50th anniversary of the KNS regatta in 1933. He wanted a beautiful yacht which would turn heads and that just what Johan designed and built.
1935 until 2003 Victoria was based in Norwegian waters, changing hands a number of times and having many different names. In 2003 Victoria was purchased by Argentinian, Martin Belvisi, and shipped back to the Elephant Boatyard in the UK and had a refit undertaken to get her back into racing trim.
Victoria then took part in the 6 Metre regattas in the UK, including the Worlds in 2007 where she placed 15th in the classic fleet. Notably she was helmed by Tim Street in the 2007 British Opens.
2014 saw Victoria purchased by her current owner and transported to Finland where a 2 year restoration was undertaken at Janne Pettersson’s boatyard (this is where yearly maintenance work has also been undertaken). During this restoration all structural parts were checked and replaced where necessary to ensure that Victoria could take the loads under sail. New stainless ring frame fitted around the mast, along with all broken ribs replaced.
In the current ownership Victoria has taken part in Finnish regattas every summer and in the Worlds which took place in Finland in 2019. A much admired 6 Metre from Johan Anker.
Details of the boat are also recorded on the 6 Metre Archives, which can be found HERE

Description.
PANDORA is the only gaff-rigged 9mR now in existence. Designed by Johan Anker and built by the famous Anker Jensen yard, she remains impressively original. Of all the famous designers of his era Anker was probably the best helmsman. It would seem his understanding of what was needed to make a boat go fast and his preoccupation with the subtle beauty of lines revealed a purity - rather understated, which nevertheless can take your breath away
With short Nordic 5 months seasons and wintering in tented storage she has been very well looked after and as important, is a most beautiful classic yacht to the eye of any beholder – and a dream to sail.
Her current owner - for five seasons - has carried out extensive works; all major repairs having been done by a professional boatyard. She has moreover been maintained to a high standard, especially the hull, bright work and woodwork.

PANDORA is probably the only gaff-rigged 9mR now in existence.
Her current owner - for eight seasons - has carried out extensive works; all major repairs having been done by a professional boatyard. She has moreover been maintained to a high standard, especially the hull, bright work and woodwork.
PANDORA is probably the first R boat in the World, built to the first R Rule of 1907. Johan Anker was one of the architects behind this rule, which was agreed upon in London in late 1906 and operating from 1907. During the winter 1906 / 07 the Anker & Jensen shipyard in Norway had 11 big boats built; 8 of them to the new rule. PANDORA was also the first to be completed and was launched in February 1907. During her 100 year – nay 108 year history she has only had 8 owners; one of whom was for 30 years and another for 28! This is probably one of the reasons why she is still very original and in great shape. She was originally gaff rigged, but then rigged as a Bermuda in 1921, and stayed that way for about 80 years, winning several races meanwhile. In 2001 she was re rigged back to gaff, and awarded the special prize for “Best sailing yacht” at Risør woodenboatfestival in 2007. Full historical information including the identities of all her owners, is available as well as historic photographs of the boat.

BROKER'S COMMENTS
This thoroughbred sailing yacht continues to turn heads and offer only transom views. At around 50 feet on deck, Q-Class yachts offer fun racing for a bunch of friends in boats that look gorgeous - at the dock or on the water - with performance that lives up to looks. As COTTON BLOSSON II she hit the ground running in her debut 2006 season on the Mediterranean classic regatta circuit with restoring owner America’s Cup legend Dennis Conner at the helm. And back to her original name, LEONORE, her astounding winning ways continue under present ownership, with two Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge overall wins and countless class victories to her credit including at Les Voiles de Saint Tropez in consecutive years 2011 to 2016.

RESTORATION
During a 2003-2004 second life restoration at San Diego led by Johnny Smullen, she was stripped of non-original and structurally timed-out elements, leaving a remarkable amount of original structure as a sound base to work back up from, with some of the longitudinal backbone saved and about 80% of the original planks. Although she had kept her shape - a huge nod to the quality of the original build in Norway by Anker & Jensen - all her frames required replacing, with laminated oak replacing steamed. Inevitably an 80-year-old boat will need a new deck and probably a new mast, and she got them. Dennis Conner went for a taller rig than class rules on the basis that she'd been a handicap racer most of her life and would continue to be so - and she could stand it. The quality of the work was exceptionally high, with Bill Mahyer commenting in a post-restoration WoodenBoat magazine article: "If they could get her through the doors at Sotheby’s or Christie’s, she’d be right at home among the Hepplewhites and the Chippendales." (WoodenBoat July/August 2005). Subsequently, during a 2007 refit in Tuscany, Italy, at Cantiere Navale dell'Argentario to improve stronger airs performance and to better conform with the CIM rating rule's heavily-weighted authenticity factor, the mast was shortened closer to Q-Class height and a lighter boom fitted. Subsequent race results speak from themselves.
When shipped to North America in 1925 by her Norwegian builders Anker & Jensen, LEONORE’s design and build provenance added Scandinavian finesse to the American Universal Rule of Measurement – the same rule the larger J-Class yachts were and kind of still are built to. Along with build sister SALLY XIII, LEONORE and her commissioning owner, Robert Amory of Boston, joined a Marblehead Q-Class fleet that would peak at 14 boats by 1929; 14 thoroughbred 50-footers coming to the start line would have been quite something. They weren't the only Universal Rule boats designed in Europe for sailing in US waters; around the same time, for example, Scotland's William Fife and England's Charles Nicholson joined Anker in having R-Class designs racing successfully on the West and East Coasts, some built by American yards. LEONORE was born into a fascinating period of truly international yacht design intrigue set around very sporty boats. In 1931 she moved to the other side of Cape Cod and the perfect, breezy sailing waters of Buzzards Bay where, as PALOMA, she became Champion boat and won the Block Island Race during James Jackson's short period of ownership. She then became the second of Walter Wheeler's famous COTTON BLOSSOMS, winning the Astor Cup in 1938 (a later COTTON BLOSSOM would be the 75ft William Fife designed 1926 Fastnet Race winner HALLOWE'EN). Once a thoroughbred, always a thoroughbred: by 1940 she had moved inland to Chicago as SCIMITAR with continued handicap racing success in the hands of William Faurot and Charles Deere Wiman, in particular coming 3rd in the 1941 Mackinac Race, and 2nd in 1942 and 1943. By 1949 she found herself on the US west coast in the ownership (as a gift) of Deere Wiman's daughter Mary Jane Wiman Brinton and regained the name COTTON BLOSSOM II, which she would retain through a succession of west coast owners for over 60 years. These included: Ted Halton, winning line-honours in the 1959 Swiftsure; Ed Turner, who retrieved the prestigious San Diego Sir Thomas Lipton Challenge Cup for the owning club in 1965; the Cole family, with Doug Cole meticulously recording and sharing her history online, for which we are indebted, and, from 2003, America's Cup legend Dennis Conner who gave her a new lease of life through an outstanding restoration. We deal with that elsewhere here, but shouldn't leave California without mentioning that Dennis Conner's link with COTTON BLOSSOM II went back much further than 2003: he was one of the 1965 Lipton Cup-winning crew. COTTON BLOSSOM II's re-christening took place at San Diego YC on 14 October 2004; a remarkable gathering of past owners. Conner shipped her to the Mediterranean in 2006 to join its thriving circuit of classic regattas, where she has enjoyed outstanding success under his and subsequent ownership, racing among more Universal Rule and other American designs than would be possible in their original home waters. In 2007, the taller rig installed by Conner was cut back by Cantiere Navale dell'Argentario to a more authentic length, resulting in the improved stronger winds performance that has helped her recent enviable winning ways, continued under present ownership since 2013 - including: 2011 - Cannes Régates Royales - 1st in Class - Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez - 1st in Class 2012 - Les Voiles d'Antibes - 1st in Class - Argentario Sailing Week - 2nd in Class - Cannes Régates Royales - 1st in Class - Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge - Overall Winner - Vintage Class - Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez - 1st in Class 2013 - Les Voiles d'Antibes - 1st in Class - Argentario Sailing Week - 2nd in Class - Cannes Régates Royales - 1st in Class - Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge - Overall Winner - Vintage Class - Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez - 1st in Class 2014 - Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez - 1st in Class 2015 - Les Voiles d'Antibes - 1st in Class - Vela Clásica Menorca - 2nd in Class - Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge - 3rd Overall - Vintage Class - Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez - 1st in Class 2016 - Les Voiles d'Antibes - 2nd in Class - Argentario Sailing Week - 1st in Class - Vele d'Epoca di Imperia - 1st in Class - Cannes Régates Royales - 2nd in Class - Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge - 2nd Overall - Vintage Class - Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez - 1st in Class 2017 - Cannes Régates Royales - 3rd in Class LEONORE has always been a winner! ©2024 Iain McAllister/ Sandeman Yacht Company Ltd. Yachts from A to Z!
This year, the Dragon class is 90. The story of the amazing “dragon” of history dedicated to material that was published in the September issue of magazine Yacht Russia.
© Elena Razina
The history of the Dragon class began in 1928, when the owner of a small shipyard and already famous designer Johan Anker decided to take part in the competition of the Gothenburg Royal yacht club. The contest was required to submit the draft budget of the “youth” of the boat that would be comfortable to walk in the skerries and the fjords
Text Anton Shibaeva and Arthur Grokhovsky, with assistance from Fiona brown
Keel yacht with Bermuda weapons, presented by the Norwegian designer, was surprisingly graceful. Long fore and aft overhangs made it elegant and at the same time rapid. In a small cabin had two berths, without special comfort, but still allowed to indulge in Autonomous navigation. This project has been so successful that it became the winner of the competition. The first boat was built in 1929 at the shipyard Anker & Jensen.
The total length of the “Dragon” for the project was $ 8.9 m, but on the waterline all of 5.65 m, width 1.95 m, draft 1.2 m, cast iron ballast keel weighed 1000 kg. Originally the boats were small cabins, but they are “cabin” turned into a simple cabin shelter. First boat had a sail area of 20 m2, and spinnakers were not allowed until 1938, but since then the total area of the mainsail and Genoa has increased to nearly 28 m2. The mast at that time were made of wood, had one a couple of long graspic. In 1945, the mast was changed, there was upper pair of graspic and rombo guys.
About how the boat got its name “Dragon”, I bet to this day. Of the many versions of the most trusted two. The first is that Johan Anker gave the boat this name in honor of the Viking ships, the famous drukarov that ancient navigators were decorated with carved images of dragon heads. The second version claims that all the fault of the case. When the project entered the headquarters of the International Union of sailing (IYRU), which, as the headquarters of the current International sailing Federation (ISAF), was in England, the name Anker English translated as anchor – “anchor”, and in reverse translation into Norwegian “anchor” someone was recorded as a draggen. And then those English “corrected” draggen, turning it into a dragon. Thus, the name of the boat, and then the whole class yachts.
The ascent to the top
It so happened that the clubs Clyde has searched for a suitable boat to replace the large and expensive classes. Despite the lack of interest on the part of the Association of racing yachts and objections of the “old guard” (say, “in good old England can’t be boats of foreign design and foreign production”), j. Howden Hume and George Paisley announced that they have already bought “Dragon” named “Anita”, which and showed at the shipyard of MacGregor in Klindera.
By 1933, the yacht Johan Anker became popular not only in Scandinavia but also in Europe. Including they appeared in UK waters, which is considered a trendsetter in all that concerns the sails. In that year Mr. ball, a member of the Royal Clyde YC, traveled to Scandinavia, where he saw the “Dragon” and was so impressed with them that he had received the drawings and brought them home.
The first six British Dragon was built the same Makhtaaral who took them for 220 ft. article the success of the class in Scotland was stunning and, by 1936, Clyde was already 14 “Dragons”. There was the first of a series of international races, and the conference of yacht clubs of the Clyde in 1937, established the Golden Cup “the Dragon” which to this day remains the most coveted international trophy. Then the Dragon was recognized as an international class.
“Dragon” won the hearts of the yachtsmen not only in appearance but also ease of management, fast. This was a born racer, therefore there is nothing surprising in the fact that in the end the boat got rid of the profession “skerry cruiser”. She was just doomed to participate in regattas, sharp wrestling and to become a monotype.
In 1946, V. M. Mackinlay, the Secretary of the conference of yacht clubs of the Clyde, visited Norway and learned from his son Johan Anker, Erik following. Before his death his father had insisted that in recognition of the fact that the British Navy did for Norway during the war, no British Builder “Dragons” do not have to pay design royalties.
Since 1947 shipyard for the construction of “Dragons” opened in France. In 1948, in a fair competition “Dragon” replaced the more costly 6-, 8 – and 12-Mitrovici with the Olympic waters, having received the status of Olympic class.
After 1948, “Dragon” has participated in six Olympic games, after which he was replaced by the Soling. Then many have decided that the popularity of the class instantly falls, and he gradually die. This did not happen, and now many yachtsmen believe that this class is generally better to be outside the focus of attention and fierce competition for those fighting for Olympic medals. Sailors-drakonita enough awards without them.
International Association “Dragons” (IDA) have always been vision and in 1957 was allowed to use synthetic sail cloth, and in 1971 the metal stringers. Meanwhile, Berg Borresen, winner of the Gold Cup 1967, in collaboration with Lloyds Register of shipping has developed a specification, which in 1972 was “legalized” and became the basis for the even more fateful decision – the construction of the “Dragons” made of fiberglass. The rules demanded that the boat was entirely built of plastic. However, it later became clear that many owners prefer the idea of easily maintained hull combined with attractive wooden deck and superstructure, and the rules have been amended accordingly. What has remained unchanged – the all-new “Dragons” to pass the test inclining test to prove that the construction was carried out in accordance with the specification. But what old wooden boats? Not all of them were scrapped in the scrap, many sailors continue to care and cherish, and sometimes win them the prestigious competition. Such is the power of beauty.
“Dragon” in the Soviet Union
The first “Dragons” appeared in the USSR in the early 1950-ies. The country was intended to enter the arena and defeat her. Of course, on the sail too. Therefore, attention to “Dragon” as one of the most popular classes of yachts, it was understandable.
Appearing in the Union, the boat caused real furor. Her perfect body, light trim by the stern, a little overwhelmed mast is delighted. Loved literally everything! A special appeal to sailors found even in the inscription of the Latin letter D on the grotto, which after the number of the ship was complemented by the letters SR (Soviet Russia).
Already in 1952, it established its own production of “Dragons” and after a few years the yachts of this class became the basis of the fleet of many yacht clubs. Over 20 years in the USSR were built more than 1000 “Dragons”, and they were all in demand. Even when the boat was finished “athletic” career, it’s not meant her sailing life ended. “Dragons” was altered to “cruiser”, and natural seaworthiness allows these yachts to successfully cope with their new role. And remember – Johan Anker conceived the “Dragon” it is like a skerry cruiser.
The class has evolved steadily and successfully until 1972, when “Dragon” was removed from the Olympic games. The construction of the “Dragons” in the USSR was immediately discontinued. Prospective riders move on “perspective”, that is the Olympic classes. Sports management has ceased to support the organization of racing the non-Olympic class. At the yacht club blazed the fires of the Dragons. Where the hand does not rise to burn this beauty, boats were left to rot in the rain and snow.
Fortunately, not all “Dragons” were to suffer the same sad fate. Sailors liked these yachts to so simply and fearlessly to part with them. And yet many thought that the class was doomed, that the revival is impossible. They were wrong.
The revival in Russia
By the beginning of 2000-ies of the boat, ready to go out on the water were one. To prevent the death of the “Dragon” as a class came from enthusiasts Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Sergei Ivanov (Director of the Moscow yacht-club “Neptune”) and Sergey Bogdanov (photographer and designer) to assemble the fleet and continue to chase the “Dragons” was organized by the Moscow “Dragon club”. Twenty-first of may 2003, held its first meeting. The year before, began the project to restore miraculously surviving old buildings, and renovated in the summer of the first “Dragon” can be seen on championship of Moscow on Pestovskoe reservoir. In 2003, was completed on the second case, and, characteristically, yachts are not just repaired, they are returned to their original look, the former beauty of lacquered wood.
At the start of the first championship of Russia in a class “the Dragon”, held in 2003, there were five yachts. Then everything was on the rise. After five years, the fleet of “Dragons” consisted of more than fifty yachts, the Championships became an annual event, the Association was established. This was made possible thanks to the sailors of the yacht club “Pirogovo” Alexander Ikovo, Arnold Sternberg, Anatoly Karachinsky enthusiasts also obsessed with the dream to revive the Dragon class in Russia.
Muscovites supported the St. Petersburg yachtsmen. In 2006, Igor Frolov, Sergey Jazykovym and Vladimir Loginov was created by the West shipyard Project. For the construction of boats from a British shipyard Petticrows was acquired by the matrix Dragon. By 2013 the shipyard was built seven yachts that now make up the backbone of the modern Navy the “Dragons” of St. Petersburg.
Today overseas sailors from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Ukraine and even Hong Kong come to Russia to our water to converge in a fight with the Russians. In turn, the Russian draconity participate in all the major international regattas, as formidable rivals in foreign yachtsmen and consistent favorites of the competition.
In any areas are increasingly sailing close to the traditional letter D you can see the letters RU. And it’s not revival, that’s life.
“Dragon” today
Since 1990, the world’s Dragons ‘ undisputed leader was the shipyard Petticrows under the direction of Paul-Ricarda hoy Jensen. Since the founding of the shipyards in 1988, it was released almost 800 boats, and recently the number of yachts built by Petticrows shipyard exceeded Børresen.
It should be noted that in 1990-x years the yacht has undergone a number of changes (in particular, have changed the wiring gear), carried out under the close supervision of the Technical Committee of the IDA. It was a difficult time when EU regulations required buoyancy improvements for all pleasure craft.
Along with the development of new boats guide IDA has actively implemented a strategy to support national associations in marketing and promoting new countries to increase the fleet of Dragon class. This carefully selected venues for regattas, was also improved control of the race with the introduction of the regulations of the championship, which was the starting point for the development of many other classes. And the result is obvious: on the major Championships going more than 75 boats.
In the new Millennium the most striking event was the 75th anniversary of the class. In 2004, on the French Riviera gathered 275 “Dragons”. All the big names of the sailing world consider it an honor to arrive in Saint-Tropez. All sailors, celebrated their participation in the race, the anniversary of the “Dragon”, still talking about this event, and best of all it says on the start line with a length of over 2.5 km!
Today Petticrows (now shipyard in the ownership of Tim Tavinor, one of the most successful builders of boats of the Olympic class) has attracted designers of America’s Cup to improve the shape of the hull. What is the evidence? The constant effort to improve the boat that is balanced by the mandate of the IDA to control development, which ultimately does not lead to an immediate obsolescence of the previous models.
This is the key to the success of the “Dragon” today: although he was 90 years old, he is still developing.

IJE - a broker's view.
Published 21 September 2021
Senior Partner and Senior Sales Broker Peter Brown talks to Burgess News about IJE, one of nine new additions to our sales fleet .
Watch the ije video below and take the virtual tour at the bottom..
Describe IJE
The owner has a dream build team, one that has built several yachts. Each is a remarkable achievement and IJE, it's safe to say, tops them all. She is a tour de force and the longest Benetti ever built.
The briefest glance will tell you that the beautifully balanced exterior lines bear the distinctive signature of sought-after star studio RWD. The owner's team worked very closely with them to perfect the look of decks seeming to float one above the other.
Inside she has wonderfully informal beach-house style, airy, welcoming and restful, which is perfect for a family yacht. Another stamp of excellence is expert naval architecture by PierLuigi Ausonio.
Most appealing features?
In the main saloon the full-height glass walls can slide back to open the space up. The difference that makes is hard to explain but it completely changes the environment.
Sound becomes softer and you can hear the sea, the air and light change to make it a shaded outside space. The entire experience is so much more restful. It's a break-through piece of design.
The main deck aft has a good-sized pool, open-air dining, a bar, several different lounge areas including a TV lounge - everything families need to spend the day together.
There's a fully equipped lower deck gym with one of the largest sea terraces I've seen on a yacht of this size, and opposite is the tender and toy garage, which is packed with the latest kit.
She has two 12m (40ft) tenders on the foredeck to take extended families ashore together. That longer length means they're faster, more comfortable, carry more people and equipment and have better range.
There are eleven cabins for 22 guests, including a private owner's deck with walkaround sidedecks and a bedroom suite with direct access to the foredeck helipad.
An elevator connects lower to bridge decks and there is corridor access from the lower deck lobby to the beach club so that all generations of the family can enjoy step-free time together.
There's a dedicated cinema, a very private nightclub complete with fully equipped bar, lighting and sound systems and DJ station, and a bridge deck games room with access to the aft deck's firepit lounge.
The main deck has a beauty treatment room and hair salon and a massage room equipped to double as a hospital. She has everything any family could want or need for extended cruising.
Need to know?
Right from the start, she was intended to be a world-cruising family yacht, one that could take the owner and their family cruising in any part of the world, places where the weather is not always reliable. To keep everyone on board comfortable, underway or at anchor, she has two sets of Naiad stabilisers.
In more and more locations anchoring is not allowed to protect reefs and seabeds so she has been fitted with a Rolls-Royce dynamic positioning system to hold position without having to anchor.
Operating in the Mediterranean, yachts are generally well catered for and there are plenty of diversions ashore. When you get off the beaten track, which IJE was designed and built to be able to do, the infrastructure can become indifferent, distances greater, comfort and entertainment on board more important.
IJE delivers the same seven-star experience anywhere in the world. She has always been professionally maintained and was designed to facilitate regular maintenance - another benefit of built-in experience. She is a remarkable achievement and her next owner will be the first to appreciate that.

BROKER'S COMMENTS. Johan Anker was an artist in yacht design greatly concerned with the beauty of lines - BOJAR is a boat of such breathtaking and effortless beauty; she genuinely lifts the human spirit and perhaps defining the term 'classic yacht'.
