A TRULY RARE FIND IN TODAY'S

As soon as you step aboard FIVE STAR, you are immediately struck by the true beauty of this exquisite yacht. If you have boarded via the completely rebuilt hydraulic swim platform you will see your reflection in her paint work. ( IMRON 2021) Up 3 teak clad stairs located to port and you are in the heart of the social entertainment area. New tasteful designer cockpit upholstery ensures comfy seating or sun bathing. The large U shaped seating also converts to a great sun bathing pad. This area has the "right stuff “to make entertaining a breeze with the built-in ice maker, sink and a refrigerator at an easy reach.

The aft center of the seating lifts up to show a user friendly set of steps leading down to the Laundry room, the spare store room and the engine room. There is ample storage outboard on both sides in this area as well as separate washer and dryer. Heading forward one enters through the watertight door into the engine room filled with 2 very well mannered Cats.

Back up on deck we can open the 2 highly polished stainless steel framed glass doors which will nest bringing the inside saloon/helm deck and the aft cockpit into one enjoyable space.

If you can pull yourself away from the comfortable ambience of the aft deck you may enter into the upper saloon/helm deck. The fun just continues here. The addition of a new 44' Samsung TV (2021), Polk Sound bar(2021), and internal speakers (2021), one may dance the night away. An L shaped settee to starboard has a beautiful table with Burl accents and to port is the entertainment center. Tasteful ultra leather seating, new designer drapes, and carpet (2021) all complement the wonderful amount of natural light provided by large side windows and of course the total windshield across the front of the pilothouse. (New wiper blades 2021) As FIVE STAR handles like a sports car it is only befitting that she should have an opening convertible top. The center window in the windshield is also power operated and will open at the touch of a finger.

FIVE STAR'S helm deck is up one step from the bridge deck saloon. A custom Captain's chair and adjacent forward facing ultra leather seating means a couple of your favorite peeps can enjoy watching you the master at work.

When not cruising Five Star has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these is a waterski that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are two SEABOBs providing agile cruising and diving. In addition there is a wakeboard so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Five Star also features paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. The 400-foot-long Kismet embarks on her maiden voyage in the Med

When it comes to exclusive enclaves, it’s pretty hard to compete with Monaco. The world’s elite flock to the tiny principality on the French Rivera for its sunny weather, sophisticated hotels and casinos, spectacular shopping and other financial reasons. They love to drive their fast cars down the famous roads leading into the city, and they love the speed and power of the legendary Monaco Grand Prix, too.

But as for the absolute pinnacle of luxury, it doesn’t get much better than owning a superyacht. And for the select few who happen to be shopping for a superyacht, there’s one place to see nearly all of the best, and biggest, and most technologically advanced yachts that money can buy (in addition to the tenders, and limousines, and private submarines, and luxury cars that go along with a superyacht) in one place: The Monaco Yacht Show , which starts next week.

Renaissance is massive

During the show, the docks of Monaco’s famous port are always filled with numerous yachts longer than 250 feet. But this year, the largest superyacht in the show is 400 feet long! And lots of superyachts in the 300-foot-long range will be there, too.

So, if you are lucky enough to be in Monaco later this month, I’ll see you there. But if you not, here’s a sneak peek at the five largest yachts that will be on display.

Kismet underway

What can I say about the 400-foot-long Kismet (which was built by Lürssen , features an exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and an interior design by Reymond Langton Design and is available for charter with Cecil Wright ) that can help you understand just how big a 400-foot-long superyacht is? How about, since it measures 40 feet longer than an American football field (including the end zones), it’s safe to say that Kismet would only just barely fit inside the Jacksonville Jaguars EverBank Stadium. And that’s only if it could somehow be lowered from the top with a crane!

But since these photos and that explanation can’t really convey just how big Shaid Kahn ’s (the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars) new 400-foot-long superyacht is...The only way you’ll really be able to understand just how big the Jacksonville Jaguars owner’s new yacht is to see it for yourself in Monaco next week. It’s going to be largest yacht at the show and has raised the bar on what’s possible when it comes to designing, building, owning and chartering the largest yachts in the world.

And since Kismet has already spent her first season in the Mediterranean and is available for charter through Cecil Wright (instead of being hidden away for a private owner like many yachts in this size range are), you, too, could experience what it’s like to live the superyacht life aboard one of the largest and most opulent vessels in the world.

So, if you looking for a charter yacht that costs roughly $3 million per week, the Monaco Yacht Show will be the place where you can see just how opulent Kismet (and theses other superyachts too) for yourself.

‘Renaissance’

The 367-foot-long, 7,200-gross ton, Bannenberg & Rowell -designed Renaissance is um, a “really big superyacht.” But what intrigues me the most is that unlike most superyachts that can only accommodate 12 guests per charter, Renaissance has been designed to swaddle 36 guests in superyacht luxury.

As you’d imagine, this yacht has it all. Open-air dining on five decks and a dining room with 18-foot-tall ceilings on the main deck. A sushi bar. A pizza oven by the huge pool. And of course, the requisite DJ stations when it’s time to party. There’s also a massive cinema that has seating 19 guests on lower deck—the perfect place to just Netflix-n-chill.

The all-new exterior lines of Oceanco H3

I’ve seen lots of superyacht designs come to life thanks to the hard work, dedication, perseverance and love that the large fraternity of superyacht designers, builders, artists and countless others pour into every spectacular new yacht that gets launched.

The rebuilt Oceanco H3 got a "rockstar" relaunch.

But I must admit, after seeing the 344-foot-long Oceanco -built (and rebuilt) H3 (first launched in 2000) emerge after an intensive 3-year-rebuild, I’m at a loss for words. I’m in awe, actually. Because after spending time at Oceanco with the project team and the owner's representative , I understand why this project is way more than just a refit.

It’s been transformed into a brand-new yacht with every modern comfort, but also retains its…soul.

The sustainability impact of this project is also pretty awe-inspiring to me, too. According to Oceanco’s team of engineers, simply using an existing hull instead of building an brand-new one resulted in a 50% reduction of carbon emissions for the build. And since H3 has been repowered with smaller yet much more efficient engines (and her top speed has been reduced slightly), the yacht burns much less fuel than she previously did as well. Delivery time was reduced by 25% as well, and hopefully we see more projects take this approach in the future.

The 255-foot-long Amels full-custom yacht ENERGY was created by exterior designer Espen Øino and interior designer Francois Zuretti to provide unapparelled luxury and access to the water.

The top deck’s helipad forward is a versatile space outside heliops—sun lounge, al fresco yoga studio with wraparound ocean views, a space for elevated entertainment served by the statement bar...assorted lounging areas and dayhead inside. My husband and I recently purchased a 330 SeaRay through Robert at Fillingham Yatchs. It was a pleasure working with Rob and Micki throughout the whole process. “Condition of the yacht? Amazing – clearly well cared for and well maintained. The photos didn’t do her justice. Was the food to your standard? Yes. The chef did a phenomenal job. He did a great job of balancing richer fine-dining with understanding we are eating his food for a week straight and every now and then you need a less-flare comfort meal. “Well we are on our way home from what was the most memorable and fun week ever! I cannot begin to thank you for steering us in the direction of NO BAD IDEAS! Truly they live up to their name. There are NO BAD IDEAS on that boat and NO was never an answer. I’m not quite sure where to begin, the boat was gorgeous, meticulous and the interiors are beautiful! The food by Chef Warren was AMAZING, he is truly a magician. We all want a Chef Warren at home! The activities that the crew planned for us were so much fun and something for everyone. They were up for new ideas and always did everything with a smile.

What I want to express to you the most, is just how fabulous this crew really is! We felt like family when we left. In fact my mother-in-law began to cry and the girls were crying as well. This crew is absolutely STELLAR! Each and every one of them are fantastic individuals, hard-working, always smiling and FUN! We had so much darn fun with them. We have been on charters before and we have never seen a crew like this. They are so close, work so well together and you can really see just how much they love their jobs. They have something really special there!

The 55 Bali was great as we were the first paying customers. Beautiful boat with plenty of room. The Captain and first mate were great. Food was top notch and so good that we opted to not do 1 shore dinner and just ate on the boat. We saw and did everything that we set out to see. I would repeat in a heartbeat.

Communication was the key to our successful trip. Chris at DMA Yachting kept us informed about what to expect, upcoming payments, etc. He was on top of the one hiccup we had and really turned a negative into a positive. Would definitely us them again.

William was excellent at assisting at the last minute to locate the charter. He was super responsive and professional. The Oceana was the perfect fit for our family, not only the right size, but the best capitan and chef. Umbi is an amazingly kind and warm person. He took us to amazing locations and hikes and did everything to make sure we were well taken care of. Lindsey was awesome. She worked tirelessly cooking so many delicious dishes and accommodated everyone’s dietary restrictions, from vegans, to gluten free. No small feat. Everything was perfect. The only way to really experience the BVI.
