Built with a fiberglass hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (12V71TI) 840hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots. Her low draft of 1.7m/5'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 1,987 Litres of fresh water.

SEA OWL was previously registered as Lady Linda Ii; Thirteen; Thirteen Ii. Superyacht SEA OWL is a majestic yacht that is able to sleep up to 8 people on board and has around 7 professional crew. Christened by 1999 the comparatively modern interior design and decor promulgates the abilities of the design work of Claudette Bonville.

The New Build & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht SEA OWL

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Delta Design Group. The technical naval architect drawings are a creation of Delta Design Group. Motor Yacht SEA OWL received her elegant interior designing from the interior design company of Claudette Bonville. In 1999 she was formally launched to triumph in Seattle Wa and following sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards handed over to the new owner. Delta Marine Industries completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. The core hull was crafted from composite. The motor yacht superstructure is made predominantly using composite. With a width of 7.86 metres / 25.8 feet SEA OWL has moderate internal space. A shallow draught of 1.83m (6ft) selects the number of certain ports she can enter into, contingent on their minimum depth at low tide.

Her travels have taken her all across the globe and she now resides in Florida. She has a strong background in hospitality and following college, resided in Australia for four years. While here, she managed a restaurant in an off the grid resort in Queensland where the Great Barrier Reef meets the Daintree rainforest. Her passion for travel and adventure led her into a career in yachting. She entered the industry over six years ago and has since worked on both private and charter vessels from 50’ – 360’ meeting and catering to people of all nationalities. She has extensively sailed around the Mediterranean, London, Florida, the Bahamas, Caribbean islands, Panama, Mexico and San Diego as well as completed an Atlantic crossing from Savannah, Georgia to London. She has worked estates in Miami, Arizona and a safari lodge in South Africa. $10.6M price drop on Feadship motor yacht Sea Owl

The mighty 62 metre motor yacht Sea Owl, listed for sale by Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford at Northrop & Johnson , has received a price drop of $10,603,375.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to Lloyds class with naval architecture by De Voogt , she was delivered in 2013 and is now on the market for the first time.

Designer  Andrew Winch  took full advantage of her exceptionally high-volume interior to produce family-friendly spaces accommodating 14 guests in seven cabins comprising a master suite, three VIP suites, two children’s twins and a nanny/staff cabin. All guest cabins have en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep 18 staff aboard this  yacht for sale.

The comfortable full-beam main saloon is decorated in light, neutral colours and features sumptuous furnishings. Flanked by windows and featuring fully opening sliding glass doors aft, natural light floods the space and offers guests impressive views. Her dining area features a large round dining table that sits under a stunning Dale Chihuly Venetian glass chandelier with a muraled backdrop.

She is a portal to a different world of an enchanted interior, where children learn as they play and adults can enjoy family time, work or relax miles away from land. On the lower deck is a delightful pirate-themed room; next to this is one of the daughters’ cabins with scenes from  Alice in Wonderland . On the sun deck, a toothy shark grins on the walls of the freshwater spa pool.

A detailed description of this interior would fill a book, but a few details are enough to illustrate the yacht’s spirit. The central stairway features a mural, carved from Peruvian mahogany, of a magical tree rising four decks high in one continuous design, the roots grounded in the lower deck’s sole and branches reaching the sun deck.

Her top speed is 16.3 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 5,700 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 2,038hp MTU 16V4000M53R diesel engines.

  Sea Owl   is now asking $90,000,000.
