Sleek, stylish and fast, the 164'1" (50m) LA PELLEGRINA 1 is an inspired choice for charter. She was launched by Couach shipyard in 2012 and she features exterior design by Exequiel Cano Lanza, and interior design by JP – Fantini Design. She can welcome up to 12 guests and they sleep in a master, a VIP, two double staterooms, and two twins. Each is a light, well-designed space with luxurious amenities. A refit in 2020 took the yacht to higher levels of excellence to meet the needs of the discerning modern charterer.

The yacht is equipped with twin MTU engines for a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 25 knots. Her range is 3,500 nautical miles. Guests can look forward to exploring the finest areas of the Mediterranean, with the Amalfi Coast, French Riviera, Monaco, and the islands of Corsica and Sardinia being favored destinations. The guests have access to impressive shared social areas and welcoming deck spaces. Alfresco dining areas combine with comfortable seating and a deck Jacuzzi for ultimate relaxation in the sun.

Guests can combine the best of life on board with attractions ashore. The crew of 10 ensure the yacht is kept in top condition, and they deliver fantastic cuisine and create incredible itineraries, making all the necessary arrangements for guests. Ashore, guests can enjoy world-class restaurants, spas, beaches and leisure attractions. The yacht’s water toys keep guests busy on the ocean. LA PELLEGRINA boasts interior design by Jean Pierre Fantini and features a stylish modern décor of subtle creams, fine furnishings, and high-end fittings. On the main deck, the salon and dining are an open plan separated only by a low island crezenda. Floor to ceiling windows bring in brilliant natural light and provide a more spacious feel; optional shades ensure ultimate privacy. The lounge area features 2 opposing plush sofas and a large coffee table, followed by 2 cocktail tables and chairs. The formal dining space is forward of the lounge and shares the same panoramic windows offering seating for up to 12 guests.

On the main deck forward of the salon, there is a VIP cabin, a stylish forward facing full beam cabin with king size bed, sofa, walk in wardrobe, 180 degree surrounding windows for optimum views and en-suite facilities with a large shower and his and hers sinks.

Exterior living aboard is generous on three decks. The main deck wraps around the entire yacht offering a large aft deck with partial shade, ample seating, and two alfresco dining tables. Steps on port and starboard lead down to the opening beach club, the ideal place to enjoy the many water toys on offer or simply sit back and relax. Forward on the main deck, an additional alfresco dining option and lounge seating is the perfect escape.

LA PELLEGRINA’s upper deck is adjacent to the master suite and offers comfortable seating on three outdoor sofas, access from the aft deck is on port and continues to the top deck. The master suite is aft of the pilot house and full beam of the yacht featuring an island style king size bed, sofa, table and seating, walk in wardrobe, and en-suite facilities with his and hers sinks and a tub.

1,000 rounds of ammunition and fireworks were onboard yacht that burned in Marina del Rey: Owner

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. (KABC) -- The owner of a luxury yacht that erupted in flames and sank in Marina del Rey said 1,000 rounds of "unspent ammunition and fireworks" were onboard the vessel, according to fire officials.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department provided an update on the incident in a social media post Thursday morning.

The fire was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at 211 Basin A, where flames engulfed the multi-level, 100-foot boat, the agency said.

Residents in the area said they heard multiple explosions resonating throughout the harbor as yacht was consumed by flames. Fire officials said two people were able to get off the boat uninjured.

Fire crews poured water onto the burning vessel, which later sank into the harbor.

An environmental hazard team was expected to arrive in Marina del Rey Thursday to assist with the cleanup of the burned vessel.

A United States Coast Guard Incident Management Team from Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach is monitoring the cleanup efforts, according to the Coast Guard, which said that the yacht "caught fire and discharged red-dye diesel."

"The fire did not appear to damage any other vessels in the harbor," the USCG said in a statement Thursday. "The Coast Guard is working with Patriot Environmental Services and Clean Harbors organizations to contain and recover the discharge from the yacht."

The yacht's fuel capacity was reported to be 6,000 gallons, according to the Coast Guard. Crews from California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Office of Spill Prevention and Response and the L.A. County Sheriff's Department are also assisting in the efforts.

The Oiled Wildlife Care Network was also notified and was on standby for wildlife response. "No observations of oiled wildlife have been reported at this time," the Coast Guard said Thursday morning. "For your safety and the safety of the animals, do not attempt to capture oiled animals." Witnesses were urged to report oiled wildlife to (877) 823-6926.

LIVORNO. A Livorno arriva la statua pellegrina della Madonna di Fatima. Arriva il 28 settembre, alle 16, dal mare. Al molo di San Jacopo, grazie alla guardia costiera. E poi la processione verso la parrocchia Santa Rosa, in via Machiavelli, alla Rosa. Si tratta della statua ufficiale del Santuario di Fatima. 

Padre Andrea Conti ne dà notizia con grande orgoglio e voglia di abbracciare tutti i livornesi in questo speciale pellegrinaggio della statua che andrà avanti dal 28 settembre al 5 ottobre.

L’arrivo della statua alla parrocchia del quartiere è poi seguito dalla santa messa.  Così il giorno successivo la messa delle 11 con le famiglie, rinnovo delle promesse matrimoniali e pranzo in parrocchia.

Alle 17 catechesi sulla consacrazione al Cuore Immacolato di Maria (il movimento Famiglia del Cuore Immacolato di Maria è un’associazione privata di fedeli approvata nella diocesi di Roma il 13 maggio 2005).

Da lunedì 30 settembre al 4 ottobre la giornata tipo sarà programmata in questo modo: alle 8 “5 minuti per te Signore” con i bimbi delle scuole; alle 9 la messa, alle 12 il rosario e la benedizione eucaristica; alle 16 esposizione eucaristica, confessioni e colloqui; alle 16 rosario e vespri; alle 18.30 la messa. Al termine di ogni messa la consacrazione al Cuore Immacolato di Maria. Sabato 5 ottobre la messa alle 18.30 sarà presieduta dal vescovo monsignor Simone Giusti. A seguire il saluto alla Madonna Pellegrina.
