Stepping indoors the single-level main cockpit boasts a large saloon with hook-shaped sofa, a loveseat, dining room with table and an angular kitchen and cocktail bar with marble top work spaces that is cleverly separated from the living area through the dramatic use of a translucent and finely-etched glass wall. Expansive, double-height windows swoop across the cockpit walls to provide unparalleled natural light, while joinery and panelling comes in your choice of cherry or walnut, with satin or gloss finishes. The main deck helm station is fitted with all the latest gadgetry required to pilot your vessel safely and confidently to the top marinas in the world, including GPS and chartplotter. The Princess 72 MY also benefits from a full entertainment system, including hidden HD TV and an integrated Bose surround sound system for when you want to turn the sound up to 11.

Below deck there is room for 8 overnight guests across three staterooms and a twin berth. Bedrooms benefit from six mullioned panes built into the hull, as well as numerous porthole windows and skylights. The amidship master stateroom occupies the full-beam of the Princess 72 MY and is large enough to host a queen-sized bed, love seat and work desk, while its marble-clad ensuite hosts a walk-in shower and couple’s sink.

The Princess 72 MY comes installed with twin MTU M93 or twin Caterpillar C32A engines for top speeds of around 36 knots, and with 5000 litres in the fuel tank this vessel has an oceangoing range of some 340 nautical miles at cruising speeds.

Caribbean Cruiser: Sanlorenzo SL72 For Sale

Prior to 2015, the SL72 was Sanlorenzo’s entry-level motoryacht, a platform that is capable of being owner-operated or run with up to two crew members. Worth Avenue Yachts has a 2006 Sanlorenzo SL72 called Koko listed for $990,000.

The main deck interior has the salon lounge area aft with seating to starboard, formal dining amidships and the main deck galley past the forward bulkhead. The galley is equipped with an array of Miele appliances, including a dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer and an oven/microwave. 

Outdoor entertainment spaces on Koko vary from the aft deck alfresco dining area to the foredeck’s three-person sun pad. The flybridge offers additional lounge seating abaft the upper helm station and if the midday sun is too much, a Bimini top can offer shade and comfort. 

When a successful day of cruising comes to a close, owners and their guests can head belowdecks to one of four staterooms, each en suite. The master stateroom on the SL72 sits amidships, separated from the engine room by a closet and en suite head which helps to keep noise levels low. The forward VIP stateroom on Koko is abaft the crew quarters with a double berth. The final two guest cabins flank the lower deck with a double-berth cabin to starboard and a twin-berth cabin to port. 

Twin 1,350 hp MTU 10V 2000 M92 diesels give Koko a reported 28-knot top hop and a 22-knot cruise speed.
