A Summary of Motor Yacht LIONCHASE

The motor yacht LIONCHASE is a 33 m 109 (ft) good sized composite superyacht which was completely constructed by Overmarine (Rodriguez Group) and designed by Overmarine. The good sized open style LIONCHASE is a particularly high quality Italian built superyacht which was launched to praise in 2008. The firm of naval architecture whom authored the design work in respect of this ship is Overmarine. The interior styling was sucessful creation of Overmarine. She could be described as a recent open style.

The 108ft Mangusta LIONCHASE serves as a large new tender to her 63m mothership, the Benetti LIONHEART.

The Construction & Design of Luxury Yacht LIONCHASE

Overmarine Yacht Design Team was the naval architect firm involved in the professional nautical design work for LIONCHASE. Her interior design was completed by Overmarine. Overmarine is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Built at Overmarine (Rodriguez Group) this yacht was constructed within Italy. She was successfully launched in Viareggio in 2008 before being transferred to the owner. Her core hull was crafted from composite. The motor yacht superstructure is made mostly with composite. With a beam of 7.12 m / 23.36 ft LIONCHASE has moderate size. A reasonably shallow draught of 1.3m (4.27ft) limits the amount of worldwide harbours she can enter, taking into account their individual depth.

Powered by twin MTU diesel main engines, LIONCHASE can reach a top speed of 37 knots. LIONCHASE is propelled by twin water jets. She also has an economical range of 400 nautical miles whilst motoring at her cruise speed of 32 knots. Her total HP is 5550 HP and her total Kilowatts are 4139.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,775hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 28 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 30 knots with a range of up to 240 nautical miles from her 13,500 litre fuel tanks at 28 knots. Her low draft of 1.3m/4'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Canvas features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 2,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.

Since launching in 2008, CANVAS formerly LIONCHASE, is a highly desirable yacht and has been continually well maintained.

CANVAS was built to Bureau Veritas (BV) classification with exterior design by Stefano Righini Design and an extremely high-end interior by Green & Mingarelli. The level of detail exceeds anything seen on previous Mangusta 108s’.

She can accommodate up to nine guests across four cabins, all on the lower deck. There is an Owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin, a double, and a twin cabin with extra Pullman berth, and all cabins come with an ensuite bathroom and shower.

CANVAS comes with a Williams 385 Turbojet tender, which can be stored in her aft tender garage.
