The rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off his brand new veneers. While fans are used to seeing the Atlanta native’s teeth dressed up in an assortment of diamonds and gold, he decided to step away from the more extravagant mouth jewelry to properly invest in his pearly whites.
First, Yachty posted a black and white photo to Instagram flashing a huge smile, simply writing, “hi.”

After that, he went onto Instagram live to talk about his latest purchase–a video he later reposted onto his page with the caption, “MY SHINY TEETH AND ME.”
“It’s the white teeth show, man. N***a’s lookin’ and feelin’ excellent,” The rapper said during his live. “Imma smile for the rest of the week. For the rest of the month!”
Yachty went on to reveal that he paid $80,000 for his new veneers. Because of the hefty price tag, he’s letting all of his fans know they better get used to seeing his smile.
“How much? $80K,” Yachty said to inquiring fans. “Eighty K on the smile. You know I’m gonna be smiling for a while. … We ain’t worried about no grills right now. … Nowhere when the energy is down don’t bring me because I’m in that motherf**ker like this.”
Back in December of last year, The “Oprah’s Bank Account” rapper revealed a new collaboration he has alongside cereal brand, Reeses Puffs. Yachty dropped a new song called “ Reese’s Puffs Rap ,” to celebrate the big partnership. The rapper told Hypebeast that he has a lot in store for fans too.
“It’ll be everywhere, everywhere, you know,” he shared. “And everyone grocery shops, from your grandmother to your nephew and niece and everyone. So it’s just, it’s super cool. I love anytime I’m doing anything that’s led by my workspace and interest in something. … This is like a really cool collectible I would say, not only just for me, but just for people who like to collect.”

Meet Thomas Connelly, The Dentist Who Did Lil Yachty’s $1 Million Diamond Teeth
Hip-Hop is forever growing and expanding since its inception. And while grills have always been a staple in rap culture, it seems there’s a new trend happening in 2023: placing permanent diamonds in your teeth.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Thomas Connelly, DDS (@connellydds)
Insert Lil Yachty, who recently got $1,050,000 worth of diamonds drilled permanently into his mouth. The genius behind the project is a man named Thomas Connelly, who has been deemed the “Father of Diamond Dentistry.” Connelly shared a clip to his own social media page of Yachty’s dental impression, confirming the two diamond teeth on his upper premolars amounted to 16 carats.
Connelly was the first person to start the trend of putting permanent diamonds in teeth, with his first client being rap superstar Post Malone. He takes pride in being the first person to start this trend, later working on superstars such as Offset, Odell Beckham Jr., Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Brown, Da Baby, and more.
One look at Connelly, and it’s hard to believe he’s a dentist, given his physique and tattoos.
“I’m that guy that’s a complete mystery when you meet me, “ Connelly states with a laugh. “It’s funny, people always feel like they’re meeting somebody famous. People always ask ‘what do you do?!’ It’s almost always the same thing: UFC fighter.”
Which isn’t too far off. Connelly is a professional bodybuilder who competes and wins competitions. But he’s also a dentist, which sometimes blows people’s minds when they hear it.
The Source spoke with Thomas Connelly to discuss his background, being the first to do permanent diamond fangs on Post Malone, Lil Yachty reaching out, doing Offset’s teeth,
You’re a dentist and a bodybuilder. What came first?
The dentistry. I worked out when I was a kid, dabbled in working out and lifting weights. Really became a professional bodybuilder later in life after becoming a dentist.
Where are you from, and how’d you get your start?
I grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Went to dentist school in Detroit, then picked up my stuff and moved to the East Coast. New York, Boston, practiced there for a while. Moving to Los Angeles will be a decade later.
When you pick up the Father of Diamond Dentistry?
I did some work with Post Malone about five years ago. We permanently installed diamonds in his fangs. I’m the first person to really do that. Rolling Stone did an article and it really stuck. If you Google it, it’s everywhere.
You were the first ones to permanently put diamonds in teeth?
Yeah, consistently on a regular basis. Not just doing it, meaning doing it where it’s retained. It’s cleansable, it functions, and it’s a piece of Art. It’s not something we threw in the mouth and hoped it worked. We did a lot of research and development to curate a beautiful result.
Was it nerve-racking? Because it’s permanent.
We failed a lot in the laboratory setting. We wasted between a million and two million dollars worth of diamonds, testing. Initially we were putting little diamond shapes, recessing them within the veneer. I was really the first person to do that. When you feel your veneer, it was smooth, but there’d be a diamond heart in it. When we met Post Malone, I was with my diamond cutter, Isaac from Angel City Jewelers. I was in Madison Square Garden, and we showed them all kinds of cool stones. They do all these skull shapes. Post said let’s do the whole tooth in diamonds. Isaac’s like, “of course we can do it!”
How did you link with Post Malone?
Such a good question. [laughs] I was pretty heavy in the model world. I performed dentistry on a lot of beautiful women, a lot of NFL players and sports players at that point in my career. I wanted to push my services into different industries other than modeling and sports, so we began to focus on the music industry. I ran into Dre in London. “Hey Dre, this is what I do…” and he goes “Yeah, every dentist wants to do Post’s teeth. I’ll put you on the list.” They had signed a new artist named Tyla Yaweh. I said hey, you just signed Tyla. His teeth look terrible, I’ll do his teeth for free.
Dre said, “Alright, we’ll do that.” So that moved me to the front of the line. When I met Tyla, Tyla was a wreck. [laughs] We fully restored his mouth. I said bro when I’m done with you, you gotta introduce me to Post. Because he was the opening act for Post on tour. He said “I can do that,” and he did. It changed dentistry. As crazy as that sounds, up until that point, there wasn’t anybody doing really crazy stuff or anything outside the envelope. It spread like wildfire. We started on one level and now it’s even bigger stones. More stones, more expensive stones. It was one million, $2 million, $3 million. It’s a beast.
Veneers aren’t cheap. When you were offering that to Tyla, you were down for the investment?
$100 grand. I’ve been doing this 26 years, that’s all I do.
How did you link with Lil Yachty?
He hit me on Instagram. A lot of these guys hit me on IG, it’s so frequent. He said “Bro, I gotta have this.” I said sweet, let’s do it. Where are you at this week? He gave me his schedule. I said, I’ll hit you in Austin. Literally jumped on a plane the next day. Flew to Austin, he had a show. I went to his show, went to his hotel room. I measured his teeth, took some permanent impressions. Booked him 3 weeks later in LA, we did it. Started his tour, we finished.
That’s really how it’s done. I’m willing to travel and do whatever. Usually the first meeting is hey, we get the preliminary impressions. We talk the numbers, we have sample stones. That usually closes the deal. That makes it organized, because it’s real. Who pays the bills? I send them an invoice before we start. I need approval. This is all from experience. [laughs]
Talk about the process of putting the diamonds in Lil Yachty’s mouth. $1 million is insane!
It’s just under $1.1 million, $1.05 million . It’s based on the size of the karats, and color of the stones. He’s a tough case because we started with bigger stones and had to trim them down. He’s supposed to be 20 karats, I just couldn’t get it in there. So he’s 16 carats.
How long did it take?
When he comes in, the first procedure is a couple of hours. 3 or 4 weeks later, once it’s all ready, we install it. It takes me an hour.
Why do people want them permanently?
If you saw it, you’d know. It hits hard. He’s a smiley guy. He’s one of the most electric human beings I’ve ever met in my life. When he smiles, those stones just glisten. You look at it, literally: what is that? Do it again! The reason it’s become so popular is because it is absolutely stunning. It is not a gimmick. It’s legit, it looks good. It just fits. The thing that seems to be working: behind the eye teeth, we put two rounds – two custom clusters on each side. That seems to hit. That hits real hard.
Talk about the bond you guys share, I saw he called you “my brother for life.”
We hit it off. He posted that. We were gonna do a funny skit, but didn’t have enough time. We had a good time. Texted here and there, “whatsupp.” “Hey, I’m going to be here. Stop by the show.” I do develop bonds with a lot of the guys. Like Gunna, I’m tight with Gunna. Post. Shaq.
What did you do for Shaq?
I did Shaq’s whole mouth of veneers, and did some grills for him. It’s cool. It’s really fun to be able to provide beautiful work, creative work. And really like the people you like. I’ve even considered limiting my practice to just men.
Oh wow. Why?
Because I enjoy what I do so much with all these athletes, singers. Once in a while, you get a glamorous, beautiful woman in there and it’s such a different gear. I’m very good at it, but you reach the point where you only want to do a certain type of work. Women cosmetic dentistry is a different business.
Talk about doing Offset’s teeth also.
I have so much respect for Offset. Love Offset, this is Offset’s stuff right here. [points to shirt] That Offset and Travis Scott song “SAVE YOUR GRACE,” is so fire. You watch him, because Offset’s case was so complicated. I saw him while he’s recording his album. He gives you some snippets about the song. He posted his teeth, the final product. You feel like man, I was there.
How do you find time to work out and do dentistry?
I limit my patients to one a day. I’ll have somebody come in at 10am. Post came at noon yesterday, we went to 8pm. It’s me and him, we screw around. I worked out at 7am or 8am. Ate breakfast, ate lunch. We worked. I went home, had dinner with my kids. Put my kids to bed, so it’s a full day. I have an advantage over a regular dentist: “Oh, we have 50 patients today. 20 hygiene patients a week. A crown, this and that.” Me, I got one guy. And my fees reflect my experience; I’m very blessed.

Lil Yachty Takes To IG To Show Off His New $80K Veneers
Good for him, man..., share the post, share this link via, or copy link.
Source: @lilyachty / Instagram
There was a time back in the day where whenever rappers had dental issues going on they’d spend stacks of paper on diamond encrusted grills instead of braces to cover-up overbites, underbites or whatever struggle they had going on in their mouths.
But these days rappers are smartening up and instead of dropping grips on iced out grills, they’re just getting their regular grills remade and reconstructed. After the likes of Plies and Rick Ross done went and got themselves some new pearly whites , Lil Yachty has decided to put down the icy mouthguard and get himself some new and improved chompers.
Taking to IG to show off his shiny new pearly smile, Yachty had no issues with filling in the world on the fact he had his teeth done, and also how much he spent on brand new set of veneers: $80,000.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CKPcwY3jhty/?utm_source=ig_embed
That’s a pretty damn good investment in one’s self. In a followup video Yachty gleefully stated that he would not stop smiling for a minute and even said “I got to get a clear mask so they can see the muthaf*ckin’ teeth.”
Once the pandemic is over don’t be surprised if you see Lil Yachty going to ALL the comedy shows around town, b. Just sayin.’
Though Yachty didn’t have the struggle grill that would lead one to get their teeth done, we can’t blame him for doing a little self-improvement with his money. Whatever makes him happy, we’re glad for him.

Lil Yachty took to Instagram Tuesday evening to show off his recent dental purchase. While the rapper has been known to wear iced-out grills, he decided to follow in Plies' footsteps and ditch the grills for veneers.
"It's the white teeth show, man. N***** lookin' and feelin' excellent," Yachty said in an Instagram Live session, which featured an appearance from Druski. "Imma smile for the rest of the week. For the rest of the month!"
Yachty spent much of the live session staring at and admiring his dental work. While interacting with fans, he revealed that he paid $80,000 for the new veneers.

Lil Yachty Stunts On Haters With Bling-Tastic $1M Diamond Veneers
Lil Yachty has put his money where his mouth is — literally — purchasing a set of diamond veneers to casually stunt with.
On Thursday (October 12), Lil Boat took to his Instagram Stories to show off the shiny hardware, which he said cost him a total of $1,050,000.
He also made sure to mention the other pieces of jewelry he had on, along with the amount of carats in each. “Seventeen carats in left ear, 16 carats in the teeth, and the ring 22 carats,” he said. “Don’t pop it to me kiddo.”
Lil Yachty also made sure to shoutout his jeweler, writing: “@connellydds my brother for life.”
Thomas Connelly — who has done dental work for both Cardi B and Post Malone — also posted the image of Lil Yachty, writing: “Boat Boy freezing [freezing emoji] @lilyachty [ice cube] 16 [carrot emoji] $1,050,000.”
See both posts below:
This isn’t the first time the southern rapper has changed his look. Last month, he issued a direct message to those who were judging his new appearance after kicking his lean habit .
Lil Yachty previously took to Instagram to show off his new look, flaunting his newfound buzz cut (which was hidden under a cap) and slimmed-down physique in a series of photos.
“I chopped da top , fukk it,” he wrote in the caption, referencing him chopping his signature braids off.
While many of his followers applauded his “glowing” complexion and “good genes” in the comments section, it appeared Yachty also encountered his fair share of trolls — and took to Twitter hours later to fire back.
“I did not stop drinkin lean for n-ggas to bully me and tell me i look like i have leukemia,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Yachty recently appeared in Drake’s new visual for his single, “Another Late Night” off his For All the Dogs album.
The Cole Bennett-directed video shows Drizzy and Lil Boat having a trippy time while surrounded by wolves and colorful lights. The video was shot in just two hours, according to Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade YouTube page.

In addition, Drake also surprised Lil Yachty fans when he joined Boat in Toronto earlier this month for his Field Trip Tour .
The 6 God could be seen lurking in the crowd up in the balcony section. Needless to say, Drake’s presence didn’t go unnoticed and at some point during the show he jumped on the mic himself.
“Aye Boat,” Drake said while rocking colorful hair accessories. “I know you been going crazy tonight. First of all, I just wanna say, y’all make some noise for one of my best friends in the muthafuckin’ world.
“You been going crazy tonight. I haven’t been home in four months, so you take yourself a little break. I’ma try some shit out.”
From the comfort of the VIP section, Drake then proceeded to perform his “Meltdown” collaboration from Travis Scott ‘s UTOPIA , which sent the hometown crowd into a frenzy.

Lil Yachty Unveils $1 Million Diamond Grills
The "Strike (Holster)" artist showed off his new smile and called celebrity dentist Thomas Connelly "my brother for life."
Lil Yachty has yet another reason to smile.
On Thursday night, the ATL rapper took to Instagram to unveil his wildly expensive work by Thomas Connelly, a.k.a. the "Father of Diamond Dentistry.”
A short video clip shows Connelly holding Yachty’s dental impression with diamond veneers placed on his upper molars. He confirmed that the four veneers (two on each side) were 16 carats and worth a whopping $1,050,000.

“Boat Boy freezing,” Connelly captioned another post, which credited the grills to the Los Angeles-based Angel City Jewelers.
Yachty reshared the snapshots on his Instagram Stories, also highlighting his other iced-out accessories.
“17 carats in left ear, 16 carats in the teeth, and the ring 22 carats,” he wrote . “Don’t pop it to me kiddo. @Conellydds my brother for life.”
Yachty is, of course, no stranger to mouth jewelry. The Grammy-nominated rapper reportedly dropped $35,000 on rainbow grills back in 2017, but ultimately ditched the flashy look in favor of $80,000 pearly veneers.
“It’s the white teeth show, man. N***a’s lookin’ and feelin’ excellent,” he said during a 2021 Instagram Live broadcast. “I'mma smile for the rest of the week. For the rest of the month!”
Thomas Connelly has worked with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, including Cardi B, Offset, Post Malone, Chris Brown, and Odell Beckham Jr. He spoke about his process during a 2021 interview with Rolling Stone , shortly after he gave Posty a set of $1.6 million 40-carat fangs.
“It’s very difficult to cut holes in diamonds without destroying them,” he explained. “In order to make a diamond in the shape of a tooth—for example, if you get a six-carat canine tooth, you need a 12-carat raw cube. So there’s a lot of waste. That diamond, they could have got three or four other diamonds out of it, so we had to waste it in order to get it into shape…I’ve been talking to a few other people who were waiting to see how this turned out before they dropped their million. So we’ll see.”

These Rappers Ditched Their Grills for Really Expensive New Teeth
From Cash Money Records "taking over for the ’99 and the 2000" to now, grills have been an integral part of hip-hop culture. However, there have been moments throughout the rap game in which rhymers who eagerly flexed their neck, wrist and teeth adornments opted to remove the grills and floss the enamels they were born with or spent a few racks on.
Recently, 21 Savage shocked the hip-hop world with is new look—a white Colgate smile. The Atlanta-based rhymer had been rocking gold teeth since he hit the rap scene back in 2015 with his debut mixtape, The Slaughter Tape . Now, 21 Savage didn't have the diamond-laced grill like his rap peers. His mouth piece was a bit more old school—straight gold on his top and bottom teeth, similar to fellow ATL veteran rapper Gucci Mane . The image the Savage Mode 2 rapper shared via Instagram on March 22 didn't contain a caption, just 21 smiling from ear-to-ear.
Guwop also rocked gold grills for years—literally. Essentially, it was a part of his signature look accompanied by the ice cream tattoo he had inked on his face around 2011. These days, neither the teeth accessory nor the face ink can be seen on the rapper-turned-record label executive. After Gucci was released from prison in 2016 ,following a three-year sentence for federal gun and drug charges, his aesthetic was quite different from what people were accustomed to prior to when he went behind bars. His was more fit and flossed a bright white smile full of teeth. In fact, people tossed up the idea that the 1017 Records head honcho could've been a government clone . That's obviously preposterous, but it didn't stop folks from thinking it.
DaBaby was also known for his blinged-out grill—one that he didn't hesitate to display because his smile is almost as popular as his music. The North Carolina native spent about $20,000 in 2019 on his flawless, permanent mouthpiece with VVS diamonds, done by jeweler Johnny Dang & Co. in Houston. However, although some rappers have to shave their teeth down for permanent grills or veneers Baby did not. Fast-forward to 2020, and the Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment CEO ditched his icy grill and is happily flaunting his pearly white teeth.
21 Savage, Gucci Mane and DaBaby aren't the only rappers to make this transition, though. Take a look below to see a few other artists who have done the same over the years. Check out the rappers who ditched their grills for really expensive new teeth.

From Post Malone to Lil Yachty: Kanye West's dentist Thomas Connelly's A-list clientele explored
T homas Connelly, the dentist known for his work with high-profile celebrities, including Kanye West, Post Malone, and Lil Yachty, is again making headlines as the spotlight turns to his impressive A-list clientele.
On August 7, 2024, Milo Yiannopoulos , former chief of staff to Ye, alleged in a post on X that Dr. Thomas Connelly had been administering nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, to the rapper for financial gain. Since this accusation, Connelly has found himself under intense public scrutiny.
Connelly's A-list clientele has come under examination, particularly in light of his work with prominent figures in hip-hop. According to reports, he has crafted diamond-encrusted dental work for Lil Yachty and created diamond fangs for Post Malone, with the value of these bespoke pieces reaching millions of dollars, as noted by Rolling Stone.
Inside the smiles of stars: Kanye West's dentist Thomas Connelly and his A-List clientele
Thomas P. Connelly is a cosmetic dentist based in Beverly Hills, California. He is also the cosmetic & reconstructive dentistry director at The Roxbury Institute in Los Angeles. According to his website bio, Rolling Stone Magazine unofficially called Connelly the "Father of Diamond Dentistry."
In January 2024, Thomas Connelly made headlines with Ye when he received dental prosthetics, specifically a permanent titanium grill that cost more than $850,000, according to Complex. The cost included making and installing grills, which Connelly installed. When the speculation mounted that Ye got his teeth removed, Connelly came forward and told Complex at that time that his teeth were not removed.
"He did not have his teeth removed. He still has a full dentition. Healthy and happy," Connelly said.
Ye flaunted the titanium grill on his Instagram story and suggested that Richard Kiel's character Jaws, the villain known for scary metal teeth in James Bond , inspired him for the grill.
On October 12, 2023, the Georgia-based rapper showcased his permanent diamond dental work on his Instagram Story. The rapper, who claimed the diamonds were 16 carats, expressed his gratitude to Thomas Connelly, who crafted the custom veneers.
"17 carats in left ear, 16 carats in the teeth, and the ring 22 carats. Don't pop it to me kiddo. @Conellydds my brother for life," he wrote.
The same day, Thomas Connelly posted a video of Yachty showing off his dental work. Later, he shared pictures of Lil Yachty's diamond teeth and jewelry, with the caption suggesting that the two diamond teeth on his upper premolars were worth $1,050,000.
Post Malone
According to The Source, in June 2021, Thomas Connelly initiated the trend of mounting diamonds in teeth, with Post Malone being the first to adopt this distinctive style. Connelly posted a picture of Post Malone on his Instagram account in black and white with shiny 12-carat diamond teeth in the focus.
As per The Richest, the New York artist spent $1.6 million on the fangs, which took Connelly more than one and a half years to create. Also, the dentist reportedly used 40 carats of diamonds imported from Belgium and shaped in Israel for the singer.
Moreover, Thomas Connelly worked with renowned jewelry experts, including Dr. Naoki Hayashi, a cosmetic dentist, and Angel City Jewelers' Isaac Bokhoor for the fangs.
Thomas P. Connelly had worked with numerous other artists, including Travis Barker, DaBaby, Offset, Odell Beckham Jr., Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Brown , and more.
Thomas Connelly under scrutiny following claims by Ye's former chief of staff
As mentioned, Ye's former chief of staff, Yiannopoulos , made several allegations against Thomas Connelly. On August 7, 2024, Yiannopoulos posted a series of tweets on X, including his textual and audio format affidavit, suggesting that they contained all the evidence.
Yiannopoulos alleged that the dentist had "hooked" Ye on "nitrous-laughing gas." He claimed that Connelly has an intention to "diminish Ye's mental faculties" so he can "extract millions of dollars" from the rapper. Milo Yiannopoulos, who resigned in early 2024, suggested that the fraud involving addiction has caused his resignation.
Connelly and his team have denied the claims for now. Kanye West has yet to respond.

Lil Yachty fired back at his co-host Mitch’s ex-girlfriend after she threatened to expose him following his explosive Instagram rant.
On Thursday night (August 22), after unleashing on former Concrete Boys artist Karrahbooo, Yachty directed his anger towards his A Safe Place podcast co-host, Mitch, before quitting the podcast and ending their friendship.
Earlier in the day, a clip went viral of the rapper appearing to disrespect Mitch for lacking purpose before meeting Yachty.

After facing backlash, Lil Yachty asked his friend to clear up the clip, but Mitch refused. He also insisted Mitch had benefited from him to the tune of around $400,000.
“I say ‘Mitch how the f### you didn’t go on the internet and tell these folks we playin, bro?’” he recalled. “F### you and the podcast. I don’t give a f### about the podcast.”

However, Mitch’s ex-girlfriend, who also happens to be his cousin, soon chimed in. She blasted Yachty in a Twitter Spaces, warning she would reveal his secrets.
The woman claimed Mitch sacrificed his own career to support Yachty and said her relationship with him suffered because he was always in meetings with the rapper. She also accused Lil Yachty of holding Mitch back, using him and blocking other opportunities.
Furthermore, she claimed the podcast would be “nothing” without Mitch, adding that nobody tunes in for the rapper. Then she made a bold claim, insisting she was responsible for their success.
“Let’s really get into the tea. People really watch that s### cuz of me,” she said, referring to the podcast going viral after Yachty called out Mitch for having a sexual relationship with his cousin. “You brought that s### up because you wanted to try to f###### clown and humiliate that n####,” she added. “And yeah that s### is about me.”

Yachty fired back, claiming Mitch would lie to her “just to get away from you,” and the endless meetings didn’t exist.
“Stop playing with me ho,” he yelled, becoming irate. “You was really a b#### that he just used to use to sleep at your f##### house ho.”
He added, “If you got some dirt bring it to the muthafuckin light ho. So we can really tell everything how it is.”

After all the drama, Mitch finally provided the clarification Yachty had requested and said their conversation was “taken out of context.”
While Lil Yachty said the podcast was over, Mitch apparently missed the memo. “The next podcast will be epic,” he wrote. “ion even think we need a guest this time lol.. see ya around (insert think piece below).”

Lil Yachty recently went live and blasted his former artist Karrahbooo and ex-podcast co-host, Mitch , for “disrespecting” him after he helped them.
Yachty first addressed rumors that Karrahboo was no longer part of Concrete Boys on Thursday (Aug. 22) via Instagram Live. “Don’t get on here and make a scene ‘bout ni**as kicked you out,” he said when addressing her exit from the label. He added that he also gave her money, jewelry, and served as her stylist.
Lil Yachty took to Instagram Live to accuse Karrahboo of being $900k in debt, claiming he was responsible for styling her and writing all of her music, while also alleging that she has been verbally abusive towards him. pic.twitter.com/yauC2WM0N4 — WooSupreme ?? (@WoobensSupreme) August 23, 2024

I dressed you. I dressed all five of y’all ni**as bro. I dressed five ni**as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y’all neck.”
He continued, “We bought a Cartier watch. I gave you that chrome Rolex, bro. You was waiting tables… What are we talking about ni**a? I changed your mother f**king life and you are here lying, talking about some: ‘We bully you’… That sh*t got me f**ked up, bro. You got me f**ked up, bro. You disrespectful, bro. The “Poland” rapper also called out Mitch and claimed the only reason he started the podcast aside from his rap career was to “help him out.”
“I ain’t want to do no motherf**king podcast ni**a, I’m a motherf**king rapper,” he barked. “Got millions of dollars, I don’t need to talk to other rappers. I did the podcast for Mitch. I done put $400,000 in Mitch pocket. I ain’t f**king with Mitch.”

Boat’s sentiments came about after clips of their episode with Key Glock made rounds online. At one point, Yachty brought up Mitch not having a purpose in life prior to the podcast.
”Even if I was doing sh*t back then, I’m older now,” Mitch said during the episode when Yachty alleged that his co-host once planned to steal an expensive watch by brandishing a gun. ”[If] I was never in your life, what would you have been doing?” Yachty asked.
In his live, Yachty rhetorically asked why Mitch didn’t go online and say that they were “just playing” regarding his remarks in their Key Glock interview.

Lil Yachty Has All-Time Crash Out Session Over Karrahbooo & ‘A Safe Place’ Co-Host Mitch
In case you were living under a rock or just woke up from coma, last night Lil Yachty had a public meltdown on Instagram Live over his former artist Karrahbooo and his podcast co-host and friend Mitch.
First, a clip of his podcast A Safe Place went around of him, Mitch, and Key Glock having a discussion about trying to understand why some want what others have when things got awkward. “Some people gotta eat, gotta feed they family, however the case may be,” Yachty said. “That’s when the militant part comes into play because sometimes, unfortunately, don’t wanna put in work and just want what you have. And that’s a whole different conversation because I ain’t been rich forever.” Adding, “I done been broke before, so who am I to tell this n—a not to go do what you gotta do.

Mitch disagreed and said you can give them different advice.” However, Yachty then replied, “Like what? You ain’t never had a job. What you gonna tell a n—a to get a job?” The Atlanta rapper then brought up what Mitch would be doing with his life if Yachty wasn’t around and all Key Glock could do was sit there in silence.

Naturally, Rap Twitter had a field day with said clip and criticized Yachty for being a bad friend. Boat addressed the viral clip during his IG Live session and stated he started the podcast to help his friend and said he was going to end it because Mitch wouldn’t defend him on social media. “I aint want to do no motherf—king podcast, n—a, I’m a f—king rapper.”

Mitch then took to X to clear the air, suggesting him and Yachty joke around and are often brutally honest with each other.

As for Karrahbooo, a waitress at Red Lobster set fire to this whole night. X user @C_Staxxz claimed the former Concrete Boy member walked into the restaurant chain to buy some Cheddar Bay Biscuits said she was kicked out of the group after being asked why she left. The user also claimed Karrahbooo told her that “they were really mean to her and bullying her a lot.”

Those two now-deleted tweets bothered Yachty so much, he decided to hop on Live and finally address the situation. He responded by saying, “Tell people how you verbally abuse people. Don’t get on here to make it seem like niggas kicked you out… bullying you? Bro, go ‘head and tell people how you talk to people… You talk to people like they’re small, like they’re beneath you.”
He then claimed that he wrote all of her verses and styled her and the other members of the Concrete Boys. “I wrote every f—king verse you’ve done,” he said. “I dressed you. I dressed all five of y’all n—as, bro. I dressed five n—as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carat earrings in everybody ear. Adding, “We bought a Cartier watch. I gave you that chrome Rolex, bro. You was waiting tables… What are we talking about, n—a? You talk to people crazy. You tell people that they are nothing. You tell people you’re going to spit on them. You tell people they poor and you talk to my f—king label crazy. You claim I was stealing money from you. Stealing money from you how? You ain’t made no money.”
He continued, “This the problem with you new artists. Y’all get poppin’ online and then you become more popular than your actual music. You $900,000 in the whole and I got every f—king receipt.” Boat then brought up her viral On the Radar freestyle and said he was trying to make her pop off and it worked. “I slowed the beat down, I put 808s specifically on your verse so when it got to your part and the beat dropped, everyone would be like, ‘This girl is the craziest one.’”
For whatever reason, Boat finds himself in these situations and even went as far as to claim he was going to stop talking on the Internet . “I’m not doing no more talkin’,” Yachty said on Instagram Live last month. “I don’t got s—t else to say. I’m gone off this internet s—t. I think I’m gone for the rest of the year. I swear to God. I ain’t got s—t else to say.
Karrahbooo has yet to respond.

Lil Yachty Catches Flack For Disrespecting His Friend Mitch During Key Glock Podcast
Lil Yachty is in some hot water these days, spurred by his regional fashion comments and some other big headlines as of late. But this new instance of backlash rings a bit differently, as it has to do with his personal treatment of his podcast cohost, Mitch. They had a bit of a mini argument during their Key Glock episode, who didn't really speak on much about this debacle. The awkward moment centered around the Atlanta creative taking responsibility for turning Mitch's life around, as he questioned what his friend would even be doing today if it wasn't for him. Mitch conceded that he didn't want a job back then, but also spoke on his personal growth and how he's learned a lot about himself.
Furthermore, it seems like they were both making essentially the same point. The difference is that Lil Yachty emphasized his role in Mitch's growth and seemed to dismiss the notion that he could've made a life for himself without him. As such, many fans in the replies of the post below called him out for disrespecting his friend in this way, especially in front of a guest and on a public platform. But the " Sorry Not Sorry " artist has an even bigger relationship in the balance right now... At least, according to some gossip train-riding fans.

Lil Yachty's Controversial Conversation With Mitch
You may have already heard that the OVO fanbase turned on Lil Yachty when he seemingly unfollowed his friend and frequent collaborator Drake on Instagram. While he seemed to quickly re-follow him within minutes , many still thought that this indicated a rift in their bond. For some fans, the main theory revolves around how Drizzy took Yachty off of their leaked collab "Supersoak," and the latter was the one who sent the unreleased cut to Kai Cenat in the first place.
Nevertheless, it seems like this is all too murky and speculative for us to conclude that Drake and Lil Yachty are at odds. As such, we can assume that they're still cool. Most likely, so are Yachty and Mitch, for that matter. But still, fans think that he made a mistake by airing out this dirty laundry on their friendship in this way. We'll see whether the " Die For Me " creative addresses any of this in the near future.

On Sunday (July 28), Lil Yachty made it clear that he has more cash than the internet claims.
Over the weekend, social media reacted to his and ian’s Friday (July 26) release, “Hate Me,” in which the Nuthin’ 2 Prove artist spat, “Know I’m richer than your favorite rapper / If I’m not, then, God, kill my momma, huh / Biggest house on the street / The first Blacks here like Obama.”
“What possessed him to put this on his mom?” questioned one Twitter user. Another person replied with a screenshot of Playboi Carti ‘s, Kendrick Lamar’s and Lil Yachty’s reported net worths, which were $20 million, $90 million and $8 million, respectively. They also wrote, “Damn, he willingly jumped on that crack [with] both feet.”
Not long after, Yachty chimed in on the conversation to set the record straight. “I made $8 million in my first eight months of rapping in 2016. On God,” he quote-tweeted the post before adding, “Y’all be letting this internet guide y’all. In real life, s**t is different, I’m telling [you].”
Since 2015’s “One Night” turned him into a rap star, Yachty has worked with dozens of brands and even started his own at one point. He has teamed up with Sprite, Target, Adidas and McDonald’s and was appointed the creative director of Nautica in 2017.
Around the same time, Quality Control Music’s Pierre “P” Thomas claimed, “Lil Yachty made $13 million dollars in 16 months. Who gives a f**k about you n**gas’ opinion?” According to Complex , the bulk of the rapper’s revenue came from live shows, features and endorsements.
On the music side, Lil Yachty and James Blake debuted their joint project, Bad Cameo , in June. Despite having no guest contributors, it spawned fan favorites like “Save The Savior,” “Midnight” and “Woo.”
“I mean, granted, I think James has worked with [quite a] substantial amount of Hip Hop artists, but this project is so left for both of us,” the Georgia native claimed in a teaser clip shared in February.
Lil Yachty calls out Karrahboo and Mitch during explosive Instagram Live
- By Nevaeh Brown
- Aug 23, 2024
In a recent Instagram Live session, Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty unleashed a torrent of accusations against his former collaborator Karrahboo and his podcast cohost Mitch. The unexpected outburst has sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community, particularly among fans of Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast.
Karrahboo’s departure from Concrete Boys
Yachty began by addressing the rumors surrounding Karrahboo’s exit from the rap collective Concrete Boys. He accused her of verbally abusing others and criticized her for making a scene about her departure. “Don’t get on here and make a scene ‘bout n—-s kicked you out,” he stated, highlighting the sudden nature of her exit.
Claims of support and betrayal
During the live stream, Yachty claimed he was instrumental in Karrahboo’s rise, stating, “I wrote every f—ing verse you’ve done.” He detailed how he provided her with financial support and jewelry and even styled her. Yachty expressed frustration over her alleged disrespectful behavior toward others, saying, “You talk to people crazy. You tell people that they are nothing.”
Concerning financial accusations
One of the most alarming claims made by Yachty was that Karrahboo is in debt to him for $900,000. “I got every receipt. $900,000 Concrete in the hole,” he asserted, raising eyebrows about the financial dynamics within their collective.
Addressing Mitch and podcast dynamics
Yachty didn’t stop with Karrahboo; he also directed his ire toward Mitch, claiming that the podcast was started at Mitch’s insistence. The tension between the two was palpable, especially during a recent episode featuring rapper Key Glock, where Yachty admonished Mitch for lacking direction in his life.
This explosive Instagram Live has not only revealed the internal conflicts within Yachty’s circle but also raised questions about loyalty, respect and financial accountability in the music industry. As fans continue to react to these revelations, it remains to be seen how this drama will unfold and impact the careers of those involved.
