Welcome to Discovery Bay Yacht Club located in Discovery Bay, California
Our yacht club is a family-oriented, volunteer-based, social organization dedicated to promoting water safety, education and enjoyment of boating, sailing and other water-related activities in a socially-inclusive environment.

Description
Active in DB since 1999, Discovery Bay Yacht Club (DBYC) aims to draw local sailors together in friendly and social sailing events, and to introduce beginners to the fun of sailing and racing yachts.
“DBYC is volunteer-run and therefore very affordable to join,” says Commodore Nikolaus von der Luehe. “There is something for every budget and every level of interest, whether you own or part own a yacht or are simply looking to crew.”

Beautiful scenery, excellent restaurant, and the staff is very accommodating. The music was right on spot loved to the band they were called the Blues Bottle Band playing a variety of music lots of dancers on the floor when they play. Would recommend highly the discovery Bay yacht club.
Having Christmas Dinner at the Club with Norma, just wanted to enjoy a night together.

Awesome home away from home! Great food, wonderful people and fun environment. Membership is a bit steep, but totally worth every dime. I would totally recommend DBYC to anyone looking to meet great people and have a lot of fun in a wonderful private club. The Friday night dances and special events are always a wonderful time.
This place is very family friendly... you have to know a member to get in but the staff, bar tenders and all members are great! They do their best to make things happen and make people happy!
Always a great time. Life has been nothing but the best since I joined last year. Cannot wait to spend time with all my great new friends on our cruise outs in the upcoming 2014 year. Great people fantastic lifestyle.

Discovery bay yacht club is the best. Karaoke might is the best. I recommend this club to everyone. I've been to a lot of clubs and this one by far is the best. Great bar and service. Go tonight !!!

Our membership includes everyone from vastly experienced world cruisers to folks learning about boating and those just wanting to play on the water. If you are new to boating, what better way to gain your “sea legs” than by joining a yacht club with helpful and experienced members.
The clubhouse is open daily to its members, their guests and members of reciprocal yacht clubs. The membership sponsors cruising events to distant locations, and social events held at the clubhouse. In addition the Club hosts many cruise-in’s from reciprocating clubs.
Welcome to the Discovery Bay Yacht Club members page. The intention is to have a secondary method of communicating to our members about what's going on in the club. Private. Only members can see who's in the group and what they post.
