'Below Deck Sailing Yacht': Guest lifts Madison like a dumbbell, fans wonder why no one questioned the assault

Madison Stalker of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' was in for a surprise when charter guest Lenny lifted her like he'd pick a dumbbell and said: "I am working out." She was in tears and thought it was extremely disrespectful.

Madison has a special connection with Parker McCown, who has been around for her and with her whenever she needed him. After serving the charter guests, Madison walked down and spoke to Parker about how she felt about the whole incident. He calmed her down and asked her to carry on with her work.

In her green-room interview, she wondered how she'd have to continue working without anyone knowing what went down on the deck with the boys, especially Lenny because the crew needs to take care of charter guests and a complaint would affect the tip.

This is the first time in a while that the crew has had to face such a loud and brash bunch of guests. Even though the boys were only trying to have fun, they should have shown some amount of consideration towards those taking care of them on the ship.

Jenna MacGillivray too was on the receiving end for a simple miscommunication. The guests wanted to get off the yacht, go partying at a beach club. Upon inquiring, Jenna learned that it closes down at 11 pm. To be doubly sure, one of the boys called the club. He was informed that they were open till 2 am. Immediately, Jenna got an earful for lying. However, some agreed that it was just a misunderstanding.

The crew was visibly upset with the way the charter guests were being on board but what could be expected of a group of boys who were guzzling down alcohol like there was no tomorrow. Meanwhile, fans are livid and questioning the behavior of these men.

"Straight men should be kept underground and only used for breeding. #belowdecksailing #belowdecksailingyacht," a fan wrote, while another shared: "NOT COOL picking up Madison like she's a SET of weights! I BET Jenna says to blow it OFF, it's part of the job! #BelowDeckSailing."

"#BelowDeckSailing Madison is assaulted on deck by a guest in front of 10 people.. filmed.. no one says a word.. paying for a charter doesn't include harassing or assaulting the crew," a viewer pointed out.

"The fact that the men’s immediate reaction was 'don’t tell no one' and 'who is she gonna call, the Greek cops?' ...those are dudes with sexual assault charges in their past #belowdecksailing," another expressed.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’: Fans React With Anger After Madison Gets Manhandled By Guest

Below deck sailing yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans grew irate with the unruly crowd of guys in the latest episode. It came after their charter guest Lenny picked Madison up. Pretending he worked out with a weight bar, he used her as his gym equipment. Naturally, that upset Madison hugely. Now fans reacted angrily. The whole incident was filmed and nobody stopped it.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans slam Bravo over Madison Stalker being manhandled

The very loud and brash party of guests on the yacht behaved really badly. But, it simply seems the company hates any complaints from the crew. Even Parker Crown seemed unworried by Madison’s encounter. Obviously, the crew feared that if Madison made a scene they might not get a decent tip. Well, after what she went through, some fans think Madison should take home the entire tip. TV Shows  Ace noted that fans really hoped for a good season. But the relations between Chef Adam Glick and chief stew Jenna MacGillivray put them off.

Now, with the ugly scene involving Madison, they seem less than impressed with the show. Plus, they also got a bit angry at Bravo. After all, Madison never really called out men on Watch What Happened Live. Like backtracking, some fans think she got caution about creating a scene. True Tea noted of Below Deck Sailing Yacht that, apparently, Madison and Parket had dinner with the guys later. More sweeping the problems under the rug, perhaps, some fans think.

Fans angry on Madison’s behalf

Well, what Madison was told to say or not say after the incident seems irrelevant to a lot of people. News Week reminds readers that Madison said, “I’ve never been handled like that by a charter guest before…like, no words.” Later, Lenny Michel told the outlet he just played around in fun. But fans watching him manhandle Madison, felt it inappropriate behavior.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans stated their case on twitter. One person commented, “How dare this charter guest put his hands on Madison!” Another one noted, “ @BravoTV better have a chat with that idiot charter guest Lenny about being a jackass to women. His “Don’t tell anyone!” comment means he KNEW better. This is Madison’s workplace. She should not be subjected to something like that!”

@Kate_Chastain would not let Madison deal with this guest craziness, and certainly not alone after the guy physically picked her up #belowdecksailing — Michelle (@MIchelle_3908) March 10, 2020

Some Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans slam Bravo

Other viewers thought Bravo totally in the wrong over the whole incident. One person pointed out, “ This was assault plain and simple. @bravo producers witnessing and not stepping in makes them culpable.” Another one raged, “Omg. How does @BravoTV ’s #BelowDeckSailing allow a woman to be treated like that?”

What did you think about the scene where Madison grew so upset after the unruly guest manhandled her? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below.

I know I’m way behind but I just got into Below Deck. Why isn’t anyone talking about how he said “What is she going to do? Call the Greek cops?”

This guy is a d**che plain and simple.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’: How Dare This A-Hole Put His Hands On Madison?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht - Charter Guest Lenny picks up Madison

I have two words for you, Below Deck Sailing Yacht : TOO SOON. Just a month after Below Deck Season 7 ended, complete with all the brus bad behavior, I’m not sure I was ready to watch another group of men behave like absolute idiots on a boat. But the latest charter guests on Below Deck Sailing Yacht somehow managed to become bigger douchebags with every passing moment — *insert sarcastic champagne emoji*.

Primary charter guest Richie Hosein, an “accomplished entrepreneur” from Long Island, brought his group of bros aboard so that they could demand to be served shrimp cocktail while parading around in their precious linens and sabering corks off champagne bottles. Eye roll emoji times infinity.

But even more inappropriate than the demands they barked out in between tequila shots was the way one charter guest, Lenny, treated second stew Madison. She worked the late service shift the night before, fielding their requests after they came back loud and drunk after a night out at the beach bar, and not long into her shift the next day she was being straight-up harassed.

While Paget noted, “These guys have no respect for anything at all,” mainly referring to how they treated the very expensive boat, it also applies to their treatment of the staff. When Madison appears on deck to make sure there’s no glass on the ground, yes, after they sabered yet another champagne bottle, Lenny tells his friends, “Look at this.” He then picks up the petite stew, even after she says, “Oh god, please don’t pick me up.”

“I’m working out!” he declares, as she has to ask THREE times as he lifts her up and down, “Please put me down, please put me down, okay Lenny, please put me down, thank you.” She’s clearly and rightfully shaken as she walks away from the guys, while he says, “Don’t tell anyone,” definitely aware that he’s in the wrong. Madison goes on to say in her interview, “I’ve never been handled like that by a charter guest before. I have like, no words.” She’s noticeably speechless and disturbed by the moment, as anyone else would be.

“What’s she gonna do, call the Greek cops?” Lenny jokes to his friends, mocking and imitating her by saying, “Oh my god please put me down.” He even brags, “Did you see what I did to the little girl on the boat? I just fucking curled her.” BRO. She is not a kettlebell. She’s a human being and woman who is doing her job and deserves your respect.

“Like, it hurt,” Madison tells Parker after he pulls her aside to see if she’s okay. “They’re not talking to you the same way that they’re talking to me,” she explains to him. “I’m trying to do it all with a smile on my face and be like, my pleasant self, but it’s really fucking hard being a girl doing this with them.” His advice is to take a deep breath, but that won’t quite fix how shaken and angry she is at that moment.

“Having a charter guest manhandle you puts you in an awkward position,” Madison said in her interview. “If you make note of this to say, Jenna or the captain, you’re putting people’s tips in jeopardy, you might piss off guests. So I’d rather just keep my mouth shut,” she said, as she continues to make shots for this group of douchebags.

Couple things here: while of course it’s easy to say she should’ve told someone (and really, Parker should have as well), it’s entirely understandable why she didn’t. She was sacrificing her own feelings for the greater good of the group, and if we find out this bunch leaves a shitty tip after all of their terrible behavior, we’ll all be throwing our screens out the window. There were a lot of elements that made this moment a perfect storm: their heavy drinking and Madison’s pleasantness (part of her job) to name just a couple, but by no means does that ever give that loser permission to touch her in any way, let alone lift her off the ground without her consent. It’s a complete invasion of personal space and safety and is in no way appropriate, especially considering the whole point was for him to show off his biceps to his drunkass friends. The moment was not only scary for Madison, it was infuriating to watch. It may seem harmless to some people, but only to the ones that are bigger, stronger, and drunker than the woman simply trying to do her job.

Somehow, these a-holes only continue to get worse in the rest of this week’s episode and their horrendous behavior continues into next week as well. May you avoid hearing the words “shrimp cocktail” in the meantime.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Monday at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Cast: Where Are They Now?

Here's what happened to Daisy, Colin, Captain Glenn and the rest of the Parsifal crew.

preview for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 trailer (Bravo)

Considering the series filmed in August 2020, viewers are curious about the whereabouts of our Sailing Yacht favorites...and, more importantly, how the cast and crew managed to film for several weeks amid lockdown. As it turns out, the location of this season was chosen intentionally. At that time, Croatia remained one of few countries in the EU to accept American tourists. In a Reddit AMA , a producer for the show also explained that maintaining safety protocols (which likely included regular Covid testing) was key in filming this season.

Here's what happened to your favorite crew members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2:

Colin Macrae

Colin Macrae might serve as the Chief Engineer aboard the Parsifal III, however, when it comes to the inner workings of his relationship, things aren’t as black and white. Despite gushing over his relationship with Martina Alvarez last summer, Macrae revealed that he and Martina have officially parted ways. “Unfortunately my relationship with Martina came to an end a couple of months ago,” Colin captioned his most recent YouTube video . Although his romance is no more, Colin remains optimistic for what’s to come as he embarks on a “fresh start” in none other than Panama. Colin has also continued his efforts in creating content online documenting his many adventures in Linton Bay, Panama , where he’s resided over the course of the last few months.

Glenn Shephard

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured captain glenn shephard photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Captain Glenn Shephard is back and better than ever! The sailboat captain may only have 2 seasons of Below Deck under his belt, but his 20 years of experience certainly make him a notable addition to the Bravo family. Since his summer in Croatia last year, Gl enn has since moved to Spain , which Shephard has deemed his new “happy place.” While becoming a Bravo-lebrity can go to one’s head, Glenn has remained modest when it comes to his newfound fame. The star now offers Zoom sessions with fans of the show, where he dishes on behind-the-scenes details all while sipping cocktails on the Spanish coast.

First Officer Gary King walked away from his very first season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht feeling nothing but grateful. “Reminiscing about the last 6 weeks that have just flown by. I learned lessons that I’ll carry for life,” Gary wrote on Instagram . While fans have been rooting for him and fellow stewardess, Alli Dore to set sails on a possible romance, it appears as King has been flying solo since the series ended. After traveling about to a number of stunning locations, including Mallorca, Spain, Gary returned home to South Africa just in time for Christmas. The Bravo star has since remained in his home country, occupying himself with a series of visits to the golf range and a new passion for landscape photography and cooking.

Natasha De Bourg

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured natasha de bourg photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

The Michelin-star chef has been tuning in this season from her home in the Bahamas, and, well, she hasn't taken to it favorably. The star has posted a series of pics on her Instagram detailing her frustrations with herself on the show, claiming that she is “human and humans are imperfect.” Luckily for Natasha, her friendship with both Dani and Alli has blossomed immensely since wrapping up, and the two have been a huge support for Natasha as she cruises through these waves of criticism.

Daisy Kelliher

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured daisy kelliher photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Being the Chief Stewardess on any yacht is no easy feat, and Daisy Kelliher is certainly feeling the burn. Following her time at sea in Croatia, Daisy, unfortunately, broke her wrist and found herself back home with mom and dad in Ireland . During lockdown, Daisy accepted a job in Antigua two months later, however, due to the current situation, her efforts at finding adventure fell flat. “I had completely lost myself,” Daisy captioned her photo on Instagram , revealing she began pushing friends away and entered a dark space. Luckily for the Below Deck star, she feels like herself again and is set to start a new job. During a live chat, Daisy revealed to co-star, Sydney Zaruba that she is most likely headed back to Europe, although she’s left much of what she’ll be doing a mystery.

Dani Soares

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured daniele soares photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Dani Soares soared to being a fan favorite this current season and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. Soares, who reigns all the way from Brazil, has gone on to make quite a name for herself since her summer in Croatia. The star currently resides in Sydney, Australia where she is expecting her very first child. Dani revealed the news on social media back in April, however, both her due date and daddy status remain unknown. Although fans have inquired who the father is, Soares made it clear that it isn’t “anybody’s business.” As she embarks on her journey towards motherhood, Dani is currently working as a beauty therapist in the land down under all while taking in her recent rise to fame.

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured alli dore photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Alli Dore is the third stewardess to join the hit Bravo series, and boy are we glad she did. After wrapping up her summer in Croatia, Alli returned home to Australia, where she was born and raised. Her love for boating didn’t stop when the summer did, as she went on to spend her time in the Whitsundays Islands. As for Alli’s personal life, the star made an appearance on the Unpopular podcast where she revealed that she is pansexual. [I am] “attracted to people’s aura,” she revealed. Alli has gone on to start her very own IGTV series called Pita Party , which she stars in alongside Sailing Yacht co-stars, Daisy and Dani.

Sydney Zaruba

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured sydney zaruba photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Sydney Zaruba found herself in quite the love triangle last summer in Croatia, but today, she is all about keeping her inner circle small. Sydney, who was born and raised in Florida, moved on over to the stunning island of Mallorca, Spain where she currently works on a 42-meter sailing yacht! This is nothing new for Sydney; considering her experience on Below Deck and, of course, her long history of sailing with her family. In addition to being at sea, Sydney decided to become a travel agent with Explorateur Travel. While the cast of Sailing Yacht has gone their separate ways since the summer ended, Sydney still managed to bump into none other than Captain Glenn on the streets of Palma.

Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured jean luc cerza lanaux photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Jean-Luc may be the youngest Below Deck crew member but he certainly makes up for it in height? Following his summer working on the Parsifal III, Jean-Luc traveled to Mallorca, Spain, an idea many of his co-stars had as well. Shortly after, the 25-year-old made his way on over to Costa Rica , which he’s called home for the last several months. Despite the remarkable views, Jean-Luc is entering some rocky waters as a plethora of rumors have surfaced questioning his role in Dani Soares’ pregnancy. Not only have fans been flooding his social media with questions concerning whether he’s the father or not, but fellow charter guest, Barrie Drewitt-Barlow also went on to add fuel to the fire. In an Instagram video posted back in April, Barrie claimed that Jean-Luc “was too busy getting the other one [Dani] pregnant … He’s gonna be a daddy,” he said. While Dani laughed off the comment, Jean-Luc has yet to address the rumors.

Mads receives a wake-up call that prompts her to dismiss Gary’s apology attempt and more seriously consider Alex leaving Gary with a stomach full of regret. Unhappy with Gary, Alex and Colin decide to follow their hearts instead."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 15: "Man Buns Has it Been Fun": "Proud of his team’s accomplishments during the final sail, Capt. Glenn believes his tough love made them all stronger. The crew celebrates their final night out and Daisy and Colin try to soak up every moment of it. Following tearless goodbyes, Capt. Glenn and Gary stay onboard Parsifal to pick up another charter season."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 cast

Captain Glenn Shepherd returns to helm the Parsifal III. This is his fourth season on the series, but he's no stranger to the ship. He's been helming the Parsifal III for over a decade.

Captain Glenn will be joined once again by Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, first mate Gary King and engineer Colin MacRae.

New to the series are chef Ileisha Dell, stews Lucy Edmunds and Mads Herrera and deckhands Chase Lemacks and Alex Propson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 plot

Bravo offered this synopsis of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 and it gives you a good sense of what's coming in the new season:

"Capt. Glenn and his comeback team Daisy Kelliher, Gary King and Colin MacRae resume their responsibilities aboard Parsifal III, along with new, dynamic crew members, as they set sail in Sardinia, Italy. Capt. Glenn realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable and starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay.

"In the galley, Chef Ileisha’s cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct. On deck, strong personalities collide, and a power struggle results in a near mutiny, as Gary clashes with his new overconfident deckhand, Chase.

"Two overlapping love triangles further complicate the dynamics on-board, and a shocking hookup puts Colin, Daisy and Gary’s friendship in jeopardy. With a near collision, fire, crew rebellion, gruesome guest injury and two different potentially season-ending engine failures, this is the most captivating and unpredictable season yet of Below Deck Sailing Yacht ."

The Below Deck guests are part of the franchise charm, but some visitors had obscene demands and left a poor impression on both the crew and the viewer's minds. In every charter season, the yachties entertain a handful of guests. They do their best to always say “yes” on a super yacht, no matter the request. Whether the guests want a stripper, a ten-course meal, or a blowout on the beach, the Below Deck crew members often find a way to make their dreams come true.

And yet, some guests were insatiable, requesting more demands than their presence sheets listed. Others had a nasty attitude and disregarded critical superyacht safety rules. Some guests even destroyed property on the yacht, making the crew's job even more difficult than it already was and upsetting the Captain . Here are some of the most troublesome guests and what they did to earn their villainous title within the franchise.

10 Timothy Sykes

Usually, charter guests expect a seven-star luxury service when they board a superyacht. Others expect a typical day just on the ocean. While Timothy Sykes may not have had many outrageous demands, complaining and returning almost every meal was certainly annoying. Especially since those gourmet meals were traded for something more traditional, like chicken tenders for his girlfriend. The food wasn't the only problem for this guest.

The Wi-Fi was inconsistent, making it difficult for him to work as a day trader on the yacht. Snorkeling and half-underwater lunches are not for everyone. However, what particularly made Timothy a villain in the franchise was waving an envelope full of cash in front of Captain Lee Rosbach's face and then removing 5 grand from it, leaving the Below Deck crew with only a 17-thousand dollar tip.

9 Steve Bradley

According to the various Below Deck members, drunk and handsy charter guests are part of the yachting experience. Unrealistic expectations are also part of the yachting charm. Sometimes, guests are all of the above . Steve Bradley appeared in Season 3 with some crazy demands, like a foam party when the weather wasn't suitable.

He also made inappropriate comments about how the stewardesses should wear a bikini . It turned out that ‘Uncle’ Steve was totally harmless and just liked to go buck wild on vacation. He appeared later in the series with similar demands, but since the crew already knew him, the second time around wasn't as uncomfortable.

8 Charles Yim

Sometimes influencers, clout chasers, or other reality stars will join the series, and they would also like to carve out memorable moments with the franchise. In Season 6, fellow reality star Charles Yim joined the superyacht. The trip was for both work and fun, but the Below Deck cast members were uncomfortable with how much time the guests spent on their devices.

To make the situation worse, when steward Caroline Bedol went to clean the suites, she found a used condom on the nightstand. The string of surprises continued as, later on, the crew also claimed the guests were having sex on the deck, and they could see it all on the cameras. While his group may have been boring compared to the other guests, his lack of regard for privacy or the crew members' jobs certainly earned him a villainous title.

7 Michael Blackton

‘Uncle’ Steve and his flirtatious ways may have been harmless, but the same cannot be said for the other guests. Michael Blackton would appear in Season 7 and develop a liking for stew Simone Mashile . This wasn't the first time she'd encountered flirty charter guests, but this quest would be the hardest to fend off.

She tried to avoid his advances and maintain a level of professionalism, but Michael wasn't taking no for an answer. The flirtatious behavior was beginning to escalate, making everyone, especially Simone uncomfortable. As a result, Chief Stew Kate Chastain had no choice but to keep Simone separated from Michael to make sure she was safe for the rest of the trip.

6 Chelsea Gonella

This guest baffled everyone on the boat, especially Chef Rachel Hargrove . In Season 9, charter guest Chelsea Gonella would board the superyacht with a broken jaw. Her mouth was wired shut and, as a result, she couldn't eat solids . This meant that the Below Deck Chef needed to blend every meal. While the other guests were eating delicacies like lobster on perfectly plated dishes, Chelsea was sucking it up through a straw.

To make matters worse, though, she never seemed satisfied. She was still hungry and stressed the Chef out even more. At one point, the other guests refused to eat until Chelsea had her meal. Ultimately, no one, especially Rachel, could understand why she wouldn't reschedule the vacation like a “normal person.” In the end, they were left with a measly 22 thousand dollar tip, piercing Rachel's already broken heart even more.

5 Krystal Bradley

This spot goes to another guest in Season 6. When the crew received the preference sheets, they thought this trip was going to be a fun little girl's adventure. They would soon realize that Krystal Bradley was one of their worst nightmares. Krystal, like many of the other guests, was overly demanding. That wasn't the main issue, though . Krystal also had a knack for laying hands on other people when she was intoxicated.

First, she got into a fight at the dinner table. Then she passed out, which was a blessing for everyone because her friends left her there, knocked out. They later returned to help her to her room, but Krystal had other plans and responded by punching her friend in the face. What made their stay even worse was how she acted like nothing happened the next day once she sobered up.

4 Brandy Bock Tott

It's not uncommon for the Below Deck stars and guests to let loose while vacationing on a superyacht. It's also common for guests to enjoy alcohol, or even request to have a drink in their hand at all times. Brandy Bock Tott from Season 7 was on another level, though. It was obvious that the charter guests were partying before they arrived, as Brandy showed up on the yacht incredibly wasted.

Her intoxication levels were already worrisome for the crew, especially since she was either sleeping off the liquor or drinking wine and mimosas nonstop. However, their charter got worse after she passed out on an excursion. To make matters worse, her group of friends seemed unbothered and barely gave Brandy a second glance. As a result, the Below Deck crew was left to tend to the passed-out drunken guest, only to find out that she had been drinking champagne every day for two weeks before her arrival.

3 Delores Flora

The Captain and the Below Deck crew do their best to give the guests whatever they want. No request is too big or too small. While they try to make sure all guests are satisfied, they have to prioritize safety above all. They are at sea, surrounded by predators, after all. Unfortunately, though, Delores Flora from Season 8 didn't seem to get the memo. Like many of the other guests, Delores got way too drunk and struggled to hold her liquor. After a few drinks, she was ready to party, which meant she wanted to jump off the boat late at night.

Captain Lee wasn't convinced the waters were safe enough, so he told the guests no. Delores thought she was above all because she jumped in, anyway. Captain Lee was irate and ready to cancel the entire charter. The crew had to take turns watching her room to make sure she didn't escape again. In the morning, Captain Lee decided it wasn't fair to punish the entire charter group, so he only made Delores go home. Delores wasn't finished leaving her final impression, though. On the way out, Delores jumped off the tender boat that was bringing her back to shore, ultimately proving Captain Lee made the right call.

2 Justin Richards

Sometimes, guests are rude to the workers and make their jobs more difficult. While it's not always appropriate, rude guests, especially when intoxicated, comes with the Below Deck territory . However, Justin Richards from Season 9, took it way too far. On the first night, most of the guests had gone to bed, except for Justin and a female guest. They were drinking and arguing, but at some point, their argument became a little too intense.

Both guests were beyond drunk and were crossing into belligerent. The crew tried to step in and smooth over the situation and suggested that maybe it was bedtime. Justin wasn't pleased. So instead of going to bed, he told Chief Stew Heather Chase to “go f**” herself and "Go throw yourself off the boat.” Captain Lee wasn't happy at all and was ready to cancel the charter trip.

1 Karan Bakshi

Some guests were never satisfied, no matter how hard the Below Deck crew worked. This was the case for Season 10 guest, Karan Bakshi . Karan boarded the superyacht with his family and a list of outrageous demands . One request in particular was to have hookah-friendly smoking spots. Fraser Olender and the interior crew made it happen, but that didn't stop the guests from pushing their limits.

They still tried to light up the hookah inside, almost causing a fire. They partied on the deck until 5am, making second stew Alyssa Humber stayed up all night with them . After they left, interim Captain Sandy Yawn realized they had broken property on the yacht and left burn holes. To top it all off, their tip was a measly 20 thousand, despite the crew going above and beyond in ways they had never before.

‘Below Deck’ Sailing Yacht Shares Chilling Link To Sunken Morgan Stanley Billionaire’s Boat ‘Bayesian’

The plot thickens...

‘Below Deck’ Sailing Yacht Shares Chilling Link To Sunken Morgan Stanley Billionaire’s Boat ‘Bayesian’

Much has been made of the tragic events that unfolded earlier this week off the Sicilian coast, with the Morgan Stanley international chairman initially missing before being found dead alongside tech founder Mike Lynch. Adding more intrigue to the tale, a strange link between the sunk Bayesian yacht and hit show Below Deck has been uncovered…

The Italian shipyard Perini Navi, which built the PARSIFAL III — the yacht featured in the popular reality show Below Deck that rammed a pier due to an engine malfunction — is also the maker of the Bayesian , which tragically sank on August 19.

PARSIFAL III Misadventure

Below Deck is an American reality TV series that made its debut in 2013 on Bravo TV . The show, to date, is running on season 11, with a new cast of crews on every luxury superyacht during its chartering season. Their challenges while catering to wealthy guests are depicted on the show. The PARSIFAL III , a 177-foot yacht, suffered a big mishap during an episode of the show’s second Sailing Yacht season which first aired on May 17, 2021.

While trying to maneuver in bad weather, the yacht hit a dock because its engine broke down. In an explanation, Yacht’s Captain Glenn Shephard said:

“I was using a different maneuver mode. And there’s a computer in between the throttles and the propeller that adjusts the load on the engine. Maybe my inputs were too much for the computer and it kind of, I don’t know, froze or didn’t react in the right way. I’m not really 100 percent sure. But I was pushing ahead and it was still moving backwards, which is not normal.”

Some of the wreckage was visible floating in the sea after the accident. Luckily, no serious damage was caused in this crash. Launched in 2005, PARSIFAL III can accommodate up to 12 charter guests in a master suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins. The yacht also has a Jacuzzi and two Open Bic sailboats for guests to play with.

Not So Lucky

The Bayesian , also created by Perini Navi, was not as lucky. Sailing in a sudden and strong squall that created too much wind and conditions for the yacht to handle, the vessel sank after its mast broke in half off the coast of Sicily near the fishing village of Porticello   in the early hours of Monday.

Of the 22 people on board at the time of the tragedy, 15 were rescued, while six others lost their lives, among them being the chairman of Morgan Stanley International, Jonathan Bloomer, and tech tycoon Mike Lynch.

His daughter Hannah Lynch, 18, is still missing, and rescuers are frantically searching for her. Lynch was a British technology entrepreneur who achieved fame through his software company, Autonomy Corporation, which Hewlett-Packard bought for over $11 billion USD in 2011.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Below deck sailing yacht should be on damage control (did gary king ruin the show's reputation), 90 day fiancé: gino palazzolo's shocking instagram comment might reveal new girlfriend after jasmine split.

  • Gary's sexual misconduct scandal has permanently tarnished Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
  • Bravo must remove Gary from future seasons for the show to regain its reputation.
  • Season 5 may be in danger of cancellation due to Gary's scandal.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is highly anticipated, but its fate isn't promising after Gary King 's sexual misconduct scandal was revealed. Captain Glenn Shephard leads the cast of the exciting spin-off aboard the Parsifal III, with Gary, Colin Macrae, and Daisy Kelliher's love triangle as the pinnacle of season 4's drama. However, after Gary's sexual misconduct allegations were revealed and later brushed under the rug by Bravo producers, the popular franchise staple could be in danger. Will Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 return?

During Below Deck Sailing Yacht filming in the summer of 2022, makeup artist Samantha Suarez escorted cast members back and forth for confessional interviews, including Gary. After a talking head in which Gary was visibly intoxicated, Samantha walked him back to his quarters, at which time Gary prevented her from leaving, even grabbing her from behind. While Bravo issued a statement, the allegations were barely addressed, and Gary still allegedly filmed Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Gary King's Misconduct Scandal Has Put A Permanent Negative Stain On BDSY

Gary needs to go.

Gary's sexual misconduct scandal has put a permanent stain on Below Deck Sailing Yacht . He's openly struggled with professionalism and alcohol on the show for years. Additionally, this isn't the first time alcohol has gotten Gary in trouble with sexual harassment. While Daisy came to his defense, his love triangle with Daisy and Colin was also problematic, with Gary becoming distracted by the Below Deck drama. By casting Gary in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, Bravo indicated that sexual misconduct wasn't taken seriously by the network .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Needs To Bring It For Bravo To Order Another Season

The series is in trouble.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has allegedly already been filmed, with rumors swirling that Gary's scandal has halted its release. Given his prominence in the series, it would be difficult to edit Gary out of the show or even reduce his role. Therefore, it would be better for Bravo to scrap the current season entirely and film a new charter season for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 .

It's the responsibility of Bravo producers to ensure the safety of the cast and crew during filming, and Samantha wasn't adequately protected from Gary's advances.

The cast and crew would need to bring it to revitalize the spin-off, or it's going to get canceled. Below Deck , Below Deck Mediterranean , and Below Deck Down Under are successful enough to continue without Below Deck Sailing Yacht . The popular cast members could go to another Below Deck series.

What Can Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producers Do To Fix The Show's Reputation?

They need to get rid of gary.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is a sinking ship , but not all hope is lost. Bravo producers have already shown their understanding of the seriousness of Gary's sexual misconduct by disinviting him to BravoCon in 2023. However, they need to further distance themselves from Gary and fire him from future seasons. If it's impossible to decrease his presence in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, the season needs to be scrapped. Only then can Below Deck Sailing Yacht return in good faith and conscience for another installment.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is available to stream on Peacock.

Richie Hosein on Below Deck Sailing Yacht: What is his job and net worth?

Richie Hosein from Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a slew of businesses.

Richie Hosein on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, what is his job, and what is his net worth? Those are the questions viewers of the Bravo show are asking after watching Richie party it up with his Long Island bros for two episodes.

The recent group of charter guests on Below Deck Sailing Yacht left quite the impression on fans, as well as the crew. It was difficult for viewers to watch their outrageous shenanigans, especially when second stew Madison Stalker was harassed .

What does Richie Hosein do for a job?

Richie was invited to the boys’ club party charter because of his connection to the primary’s cousin. Dr. Francis Martinis was the primary and asked by Bravo to appear on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. He was previously on Below Deck Med twice with his wife Jessica, so this time he decided it would be boys only.

The first person Francis invited was his wife’s cousin Austin Allen, who is friends with Richie through the bar/nightclub business. Richie owns several nightclubs, while Austin runs a security company for them.

No, Richie is not just another bar or nightclub owner. He is kind of a jack of all trades, as well as an influential entrepreneur. According to Home Business magazine , Richie is the ultimate businessman with ventures in hospitality, music, technology, and medical fields.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐢𝐧 (@richiehosein)

His LinkedIn profile lists Richie as the co-founder of A.M. Southampton Nightclub. Richie is also president of a medical device company called TRE Medical Technology Consultants, CEO of Exit Partners, a financial company, and CEO of Baseline Health Management, which specializes in health and wellness programs in the workplace.

If that isn’t enough, Richie is a managing partner for Etiquette Management Group, LLC, which owns several bars, clubs, and restaurants in New York City. The guy knows how to party, but it also appears he works hard.

Riche’s net worth

The businessman, with his hands in various companies, has got to be worth a pretty penny. According to Trend Celebs Now, Richie’s net worth has increased over the past couple of years.

Right now, the Long Island bro is reportedly worth between $1-5 million. It is not hard to believe he is raking in cash based on his actions on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Yes, he acted like a frat boy, but he also acted like someone of privilege and means.

Richie Hosein showed viewers his party side on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. However, based on his vast business portfolio, he does a lot more than party.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Well here’s hoping KARAMA visits him and his POS bros soon. Hopefully there will be lots of low class chicks throwing up all over his nightclubs and security bros soon. Lol

Fort Salonga's Dr. Francis Martinis — yep, pronounced like two or more of the drinks — is a respected urologist with practices in Northport and Port Jefferson Station. So what was he doing on a frat-boyish bro' cruise on two episodes of Bravo's "Below Deck Sailing Yacht” airing 9 p.m. this Monday and next?

Chaperoning, basically. And helping with casting, he says. After Martinis twice appeared with wife Jessica on Bravo’s sister show "Below Deck Mediterranean," the producers "asked me to help put together a charter for the new spinoff," says the doctor, 51, who was born in Far Rockaway, Queens, raised in the Five Towns hamlet of Inwood, and attended Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst. "I chose to make it a party of six guys."

He started with his wife's cousin, Austin Allen, who runs the East Northport security company American Protection Bureau. "Through that business," says Martinis, "he knows Richie Hosein, who has nightclubs," including AM Southampton, and other businesses. Hosein in turn is friends with Tommy Macari, of Mattituck's Macari Vineyards. Rounding out the "Animal-House"-on-sea were Martinis' friends Lenny Michel, a Huntington-based personal trainer, and Melville's Marshall Kessler, grandson-heir to the founder of the nutritional-supplement giant Natural Organics.

The producers, says Martinis. arranged "a Skype interview with everyone, which is their routine, and they immediately gave us a spot" on a four-day, Greek islands charter aboard the Corfu-based superyacht Parsifal III. "So the producers were very happy with the Skype interviews and they knew they had a good bunch."

More like the wild bunch. Across two alcohol-soaked episodes we see much boorish behavior that prompts derisive comments from crew-members including chef Adam Glick, stewards Georgia Grobler, Jenna MacGillivray and Madison Stalker and even Captain Glenn Shephard.

"I know my guys were a tough bunch to handle, so the crew probably had some opinions," chuckles Martinis, who to his credit seems the adult among the bros — a term Bravo itself uses in a preview video aptly titled "These Long Island Bros Are Ready to Party." That promo, in fact, spotlights Michel lifting crew-member Stalker up and down without permission as she begs him not to.

"I've never been handled like that by a charter guest before," Stalker tells the camera afterward. "Like…," she begins, turning speechless with anger. "I have, like, no words."

"I was just having a good time, man," Michel tells Newsday, insisting he and Stalker are friends. "We're under the same clear understanding. Like, it just is what it was. It wasn't perceived [as inappropriate touching] on either side." Pointing to Stalker attending a viewing party Monday at Hosein's home in Melville, he asks, "If someone felt they were put in a position where they were completely uncomfortable with somebody, why would they fly out to a state where that person lives to come hang out with them?"

A Bravo spokeswoman said she believed Stalker had "addressed it a bit in the episode," and confirmed Stalker was planning to attend the party. A Newsday request to Bravo for a comment from Stalker did not receive a response.

However, says Martinis, Stalker and a couple other crew members are staying with him, his wife and their children — daughter Isabella, 19, and son, Luca, 17 — the weekend before the viewing party. "They're all looking forward to coming and seeing the guys and hanging out with them," he says. It's possible all is indeed forgiven — and that nine long months after the episode filmed, it's all water under the sail.

Is This Fashion Blogger Trying to Ruin Adam’s ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Boat-Mance?

Abi Travis - Author

Updated June 5 2020, 1:08 p.m. ET

You always know you can count on episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht to be filled with all kinds of drama. Most of the time, the drama focuses on what’s going on between the sailing yacht’s crew members, but every once in a while, a charter guest adds to the drama in a big way.

Such is the case in some recent episodes of the show which feature fashion blogger Lyndi Kennedy . She definitely appears to be flirting with Chef Adam in plain sight of her boyfriend — what’s the deal with that? As it turns out, the drama might not be quite as intense as the show has led us to believe.

Lyndi’s appearance on ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ is definitely turning heads.

In Season 1, Episode 12 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht (which aired on April 20, 2020), a group of social media influencers (including fashion blogger Lyndi Kennedy) come aboard as charter guests. It doesn’t take long for things to get super awkward. Even though Lyndi’s boyfriend Jesse is also onboard as a guest, Lyndi starts flirting with Chef Adam — and she’s not subtle about it at all.

Naturally, Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray — who happens to be dating Chef Adam — isn’t a huge fan of Lyndi's flirtation, and neither is Jesse. He snaps at her angrily and tells her that if she’s interested in someone else, she should tell him now. In a preview for the April 27 episode , we see Lyndi and a friend insist on visiting the galley to talk with Adam privately. Again, Jenna seems pretty irritated, and Lyndi’s boyfriend looks angry, too.

Lyndi recently posted on Instagram about her ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ experience.

Anyone who’s worried that Lyndi might break up Jenna and Adam’s boat-mance can go ahead and relax — Lyndi did not leave her boyfriend for Chef Adam. In fact, according to her, Jesse wasn’t even technically her boyfriend at the time of filming. In a comment on a recent Instagram post , she says that the two had broken up but decided to go ahead with filming their episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht anyway.

“Luckily I got outta that relationship. It wasn’t staged, but after breaking up for 2 months I gave him one more chance and we did this show, but we weren’t back together,” she said. “I have very good reasons to be upset with him and completely done with him by the time we landed in Greece — I wanted to go home. But he convinced me he would act differently — then cameras roll and he’s again controlling and possessive and manipulative — trying to portray something on camera that wasn’t true.”

“I am not fake, I cannot pretend to be in love when I’m not and I’m frustrated with this person, I wear my heart on my sleeve. My friends and fam and myself know the real situation and that’s all that matters.”

Does Lyndi Kennedy have a husband?

A quick scroll through Lyndi Kennedy’s Instagram account reveals that Lyndi is dating someone else — a man named Brian, or @thelordofbeauty on Instagram. Lyndi says the episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht she appears in were filmed way back in June of 2019, and that her life is totally different now. She also says that she and Brian are watching the show together, and discussing it is making them feel even stronger in their relationship.

Lyndi and Brian are not married, but Lyndi has been married in the past. She and her husband had three kids together, though they are now divorced. A recent Instagram post shows Brian getting down on one knee and “proposing” to her, but Lyndi clarified in the comment section that the video was filmed as a joke for her friends and family, and the two are not actually engaged. Not yet, anyway!

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht air Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

This American Idol Finalist Popped Up as a Charter Guest on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

In the years since  Below Deck  premiered, many notable figures have popped up on the original series and its spin-offs as charter guests (see a list of all of the Real Housewives who have appeared  here ).

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Peacock and the Bravo app .

On the April 24 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht ,  American Idol alum Justin Guarini visited Parsifal III for a picturesque Corsica vacation.

As Captain Glenn Shephard confirmed during the preference sheet meeting for Charter No. 2, Justin is one of the "longtime friends" of primary guest Kim.

In case you need a refresher, Justin competed on the debut season of  American Idol  in 2002, and he placed second to winner Kelly Clarkson . Following his time on the singing competition, he starred alongside Kelly in the musical romantic comedy,  From Justin to Kelly , and he released two albums and an EP.

He's also appeared on Broadway, in shows like Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdow n,  American Idiot, Romeo and Juliet, and  Wicked, and he's next set to star in the upcoming Broadway adaptation of Once Upon a One More Time . Justin is known for playing 'Lil Sweet in advertisements for Diet Dr. Pepper as well.

On the show, after Justin and the other guests arrived to Parsifal III , the American Idol runner-up soon made his mark on the boat by spilling a drink on the staircase and by saying that Chef Ileisha Dell 's cooking was "out of this world."

Justin was also present for a  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  first. Ahead of the first dinner on the boat, Kim and her husband, Ian, asked if the crew would be able to eat dinner with the guests.

Captain Glenn admitted that the request was something he had "never done" before, but Chef Ileisha said that she could indeed execute a family-style dinner. Chief engineer Colin MacRae told the guests about how special the request was.

"I don't know if you guys realize this or not, but this is absolutely not normal," Colin added during the dinner. "This will be my 14th, 15th year on a superyacht, and in all of that time, I've never been invited to eat with the guests. So, thank you guys for just treating us with so much respect."

See how the rest of Justin's charter goes by tuning in to Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
