Based in Hampshire on the South Coast of England, Archipelago Expedition Yachts are designed by a close-knit team of exceptional British naval architects, and are built on the Isle of Wight: the home of world yachting.

Each yacht is built from aluminium and designed from the outset as a hybrid, ocean-capable motor catamaran, engineered to push the boundaries of capability as well as providing luxurious living space for your family and friends. Their striking appearance defies what a catamaran has been, and opens your world to all it can be.

FOUNDED BY A LIFE-LONG SAILOR

Archipelago was founded by Dr Stephen Weatherley, a life-long sailor and boat enthusiast, who expected and wanted more… more adventure, more space, more exciting design, more sustainability, and more accessibility for those who are less able to access the traditional yachting market. The yacht that defined the brand: the 47 foot (14.5m) ocean-capable Archipelago 47. Bridging the gap between performance, range and luxury accommodation, the Archipelago 47 offers the ultimate adventure.

Born from the highest-quality design and engineering, the Archipelago 47 offers ultimate performance, functionality and comfort.

The Archipelago 47 is also now offered in collaboration with Twisted Marine to showcase the ultimate in engineering and design.

SUSTAINABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL

Sustainability and a reduced environmental impact are also paramount in the philosophy of Archipelago Expedition Yachts. Aluminium has a lower environmental impact than traditional fibreglass, and has the added benefit of being able to be recycled at the end of the vessel’s life. We engineer silent running, with hybrid diesel-electric propulsion as standard. We can harvest rainwater, and use solar for ultimate off-grid living. Expect more... demand more. 

BESPOKE COMMISSION

Everyone’s requirements are different and so, included in the price of every Archipelago Yacht, are a number of hours of naval architecture to allow us to customise to your requirements. 

We love nothing more than working closely with a future owner, and our naval architects, builders and interior specialists to ensure every detail is how you want it to be. We encourage those future owners to visit the build, and have a hands-on experience of seeing their yacht take shape. We are with you every step of the way and approach every yacht as a partnership.

CHARTER OPPORTUNITIES

Our Archipelago 47 is available to charter. She is based in Ocean Village, Southampton and available for either bare-boat or skippered charters. She is coded for diving, fishing, filming, and general leisure use. Please contact us with your requirements.
