Amazing! This place does not deserve the hate that it gets. I love going here. They have the best tasting lobster and the Bread... omg the bread is made from heaven this is the most magnificent restaurant within miles

Absolutely the worst meal I have had in years. I will say the wait staff were attentive and pleasant but the food was horrible. The seafood special was terrible, the steaks had no flavor and the wagu beef a total waste of money. We had eight golfers and have been all over the world and dealt with meals in six different countries over twenty five years traveling and by far the worst food. Not sure who would give this place a rating above one star but maybe because the staff were nice and seemed to care? Would never go back...and would not recommend it.

We came for dinner last night. Our experience was good and very different than the latest reviews. The restaurant for a Friday night was quite empty. Tables are set far apart and masks, etc were worn by staff. The view here is great depending on where you sit inside or on the patio. I love the fireplaces throughout, especially this time of year. We also have ac vents next to us and they provide covers insane you are cold, which we did use. Our waitress was great and very attentive, especially with drinks and timing of food coming out was good. It was a total of about 1.5 hours from starters to desert, and we were not in a hurry so that's not bad at all. The food: They bring a large bread bowl and butter which is nice but the bread tasted like it had been in the freezer or something. Did not taste fresh. Next was the Caesar salad which was very bland, the dressing came on the side and the cheese tasted stale. I would skip that. But the wedge was good. I ordered the chicken which was good and juicy. I took half home since it's fairly large. I ordered a side of gnocchi. It had a great flavor but tasted like it had been fried. I would prefer gnocchi not fried. The lobster was good, different but good. Steak was great and cooked well. And the deserts were good. The pecan pie was good but the cheesecake a little lacking. Will def come back because the view and over all atmosphere.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. This restaurant started off by saying that they do not allow sandals at the restaurant, although they are located directly adjacent to a pool party location. We then asked for bread and butter when we sat down, but were told "it's for members only." Next, we order chargrilled oysters that were room temp. I ordered the lobster scampi, which tasted liked it came from captain D's. Two others ordered steaks that moo'd when they came out. Drinks were average and 20 dollars each. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Tab was 450 and was not worth 100 dollars. Only way this place has business is because of location and limited surrounding options. Will never be back and I'm not one to leave negative reviews, as I know how challenging the restaurant industry. Absolutely pitiful!

Before getting into the review, I want to mention that Horseshoe Resort overall is wonderful. So this is not a knock against the entire business. It is, however, most definitely a knock against The Yacht Club restaurant. So, let's begin... First, as the only family of color (at least in the patio where we were seated), it was interesting to have amateur hour where our waiter was concerned (unprofessional, wrinkled shirt, etc.). In contrast, the white families around us had posh/well-put-together waiters. Coincidence? Perhaps. But... we all know most likely not. Second, the coffee machine was broken. At the price point, there should be a backup - that too on a Saturday evening. Third, the orange juice was unavailable for the kids. Fourth, food was average. Large portions, but mediocre taste (ex. the lobster mac n cheese lacked flavor) I thought this was the premier dining experience on-site? The last time I checked, things weren't out at restaurants that claimed to be top-tier, and their service wasn't lacking. Bottom-line, do better for your price point. You wouldn't last a month if there were competition around. Maybe there should be more competition around - it seems the restaurant has gotten too comfortable being mediocre.

There were big cockroaches inside the restaurant. Wil never go back. We got there and music was good but what a disappointment..

Great good options, cocktail list, lots of seating with decent views. Had reservations for 8pm and even though there were plenty of tables open, still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Again, not sure if this is a staffing problem or what but service left a lot to be desired at all the restaurants at the resort. They bring bread and butter to start. Had the petite filet with chef's choice of potatoes and seasonal veggies which was sugar snap peas. Steaks were delicious and seasoned well. Also had the Mexican Martini and Lemon Drop Martini. All good. Didn't get dessert because we got free chocolate cake for celebrating our anniversary.

We had the most amazing service from Cisco that I've had in the last twenty years. That is not an exaggeration. he was right there helping us make selections and provide us with amazing suggestions. top choices: vanilla poached lobster tail, lump cramp, nachos which we ordered deconstructed and the bursts salad. Fairwinds cocktail was 10 out of 10. Julian was wonderful also. Thank you Cisco, you are a gem and when we say gem we mean a 10 carat diamond.

Beautiful views all around. Extremely relaxing ambiance. Food was good. Especially for around here in Horseshoe Bay where pickings are slim. Staff was nice and attentive.

We sat there for 15 minutes and no service was provided. I would understand that if there was a packed patio. However there was only a few tables. We decided to leave and on our out we were asked if have been helped yet. We said we got to our table however no server came to see us. His response was "I'm sorry about that." Then we walked away.
