Work in progress on the first Rupert 80 motor yacht
Ordered in spring 2012 , construction of the first Rupert 80 motor yacht is well under way at Rupert Marine. Her composite hull was popped out of her mould, bulkheads are in place, and the interior is built in parallel.
The Rupert 80 semi-custom series will become the flagship of the Swedish yard when launched. Conceived by Thomas Rönnberg, founder and owner of Rupert Marine, this 25 metre motor yacht has an aggressive and low profile designed by Ted Mannerfelt with a naval architecture by Petter Hakanson. Rönnberg says: ‘When I talked to my designer I told him that it has to be a workboat with a superyacht finish and styling’.
The interior, by Nauta Design, comes in two versions: two cabins for four guests, or three cabins for six guests. Crew quarters are for two. The first hull will also have the galley on the main deck, but a layout with the galley below is available.
In the engine room, four options are possible: twin 900hp Volvo Penta IPS version with speeds between 30 and 34 knots, triple 900hp Volvo Penta IPS version with speeds between 34 and 40 knots, a twin 1200hp MAN waterjet version with speeds between 38 and 43 knots, and a twin 1400hp MAN waterjet version with speeds between 40 and 46 knots. The maximum range could exceed 850 nautical miles at an economical speed of 20 knots.
The first Rupert 80 motor yacht will be delivered, as scheduled, in summer 2013.

Sweden's Rupert Yachts has its first contract signed and production of the new Rupert 80 is under way
Rupert Marine's latest design is an 80-foot luxury motor yacht intended for owners of super yachts and other demanding customers and designed in cooperation with other well-known naval architects and designers, the exterior bears the signature of Ted Mannerfelt. This 80-foot yacht is the first in series of Rupert Yachts now in development.
Rupert 80 is being built in Sweden by skilled craftsmen to professional workboat and yacht standards and with a superior finish to interior and exterior.
This yacht is equipped with all the space and amenities for guests and crew you might expect.
Speed range between 32 – 46 knots and relevant fuel capacity will ensure a sufficient cruising range. Special attention is taken to low noise and vibration levels, high reliability for all systems and low maintenance costs.
Like other Rupert boats this 80-foot yacht can be customized to the specifications of the client.

the Company Rupert Marine , a Swedish producer of high-end >RIBA was founded in 1996 and Thomas Rennberg . She became the first Swedish shipyard began to build boats of this type. The main customers of Rupert Marine act as law enforcement and rescue agencies and private clients. However, Rupert and gained valuable experience in the production of boats, did not confine the production of Fungal. In 2012, the shipyard has announced the launch of a new division, Rupert Yachts, which became involved in the construction of a brand new line of motor yachts. The first of them, polycestinae 25-meter Rupert 80 , was delivered to the owner in 2013, In 2014 the company Rupert Marine was forced to declare bankruptcy affected by a sharp drop in sales due to the global crisis. However, today the brand Rupert, through the efforts of a tireless Rennberg, again in the ranks.
Manufacturing
Rupert Boats are manufactured in Akersberga , close to Stockholm . The vast majority of models — custom, including those boats that are ordered for professional use. Every ship undergoes a thorough quality control and stringent sea trials. Each client of the shipyard is guaranteed a personal trip. In connection with the recent economic upheavals in the framework of a more flexible pricing policy the emphasis is on small models and a "Lite" basic package. What in any case does not detract from the quality of the products.
Boats rib form 4 from the Rupert family. Series Rupert include open and >cabin boat length 6-15 m Series Rupert R is a model from 5.2 to 8 m, each of which is available in three versions, depending on the chosen variant of placing of seats and other options. These boats can be used as a >tenders. Tenders &Yachts combines the seemingly incompatible: custom tenders issued for specific yachts, sports boats, as well as new development company >closed yacht Rupert 80. In a series of Military&Rescue presents a very popular boat for the needs of police, military, rescue agencies and other organizations whose work is connected with the sea.
Despite the relatively large number of clients (several hundred), Thomas Rennberg remembers the name of each of them. Once becoming a customer of Rupert Marine, users typically become adept brand: for all time of existence of the business only a few customers selling their boats Rupert, not bought a new one of the same manufacturer.
