The ASTONDOA 82 GLX MAGIC SIX is one of the best-built yachts by the leading Spanish yard. Big by definition, the ASTONDOA 82 GLX out-sizes all other 82' motor yachts on the market. Its large volumes result in ample, comfortable and practical interior spaces.

MAGIC SIX interiors offer a wide salon with sofa (new 2021), flat screen TV, large windows giving brightness to the area and a comfortable dining table for 8/10 guests.

The fully equipped galley is forward, such as the main deck day toilet, the wheelhouse and the crew dining table.

After being purchased by her present Owner in 2021 MAGIC SIX is now in great conditions, after undergoing an interior/exterior refurbish; several new accessories have been placed such as a wide new sunbed double mattress on top deck and a new hydraulic bathing platform.

The deck offers wide areas typical of significantly larger yachts: a forward sunbathing area with cushions; a further sundeck area on top deck together with a dining table with seats; the Jacuzzi tub allows guests the optimum level of enjoyment and epitomizes true relaxation. Alfresco dining area for 8/10 guests on cockpit as well; a comfortable ladder offers easy access to the bathing platform and to the sea.

MYBA Terms: The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning material and basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins, etc., the crew’s wages, food and the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer’s liability insurance. The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses. These include fuel for the yacht, fuel for the ski-boats or other tenders, food for the charterers, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks for the Charterers, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht’s own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and/or electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via Satcom, Radio Telephone or telex costs, hire costs of special equipment placed on board at the request of the Charterer and crew gratuities. Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). VAT calculation depends on the embarkation port' country and on the cruising area. Charters shorter than a week are also available, depending on the date.

Captain: Christian Rossini, Italo/Croatian, 45 years old. Christian was born in Venice and is a bright and bubbly man, always enthusiastic and passionate about his job. His guests always appreciate his good vibes and his can-do-attitude. He’s a tireless worker and deep connoisseur of Croatia where he has always sailed. Christian has always worked at sea from a very young age. He is very proud of his very long employments and working relationships with families of important Italian entrepreneurs: his last employment was on a Dalla Pietà 80 feet based in Venice for charter where he worked for 8 years . Christian is a nature lover and this is also why he loves his job; in his free time he goes mountain biking and practices lot of fitness. Christian speaks good English and Italian as a native.

Deckhand: Marco Cichellero, Italo/american, 24 years old. Marco was born in the US where he lived until 5 years old. Then he moved to Venice where he studied and after achieving his diploma he started to work at sea, quite normal for a Venetian. He’s been working on yachts for 5 years by now; very good willing, very hard working guy. He speaks English as a native and of course Italian

Chef/Stewardess: Manuela Ruffino, Italian, 46 years old. Manuela is 46 years old, Italian from Sicily and passionate of good cuisine since ever. She makes it her priority to choose the best ingredients for her guests and as a Sicilian she’s very keen on seafood preparations. She has been working on private and charter yachts every summer for several years, achieving excellent skills. In her free time Manuela loves writing and painting and of course spending time at sea Manuela speaks English and Italian as a native.

High Season: August & July: € 33.000,00; Mid Season: June & September: € 26.000,00; Low Season: Other Months: € 21.000,00.

VAT not applicable in Italy 13% VAT applicable in Croatia

Rates include: Fully equipped yacht hire, yacht insurance, crew food and wages, usage of water toys on board, yacht laundry fees.

American Magic helmsman Goodison broke 5 ribs and will miss start of America's Cup playoffs

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — American Magic co-helmsman Paul Goodison said in a social media post Friday that he broke five ribs when he fell into a an open hatch aboard Patriot after racing six days earlier in the America's Cup challenger trials.

The team, backed by the New York Yacht Club, has been largely mum about Goodison's injury, other than co-helmsman Tom Slingsby saying Friday that Goodison was hurt when he “had a fall on the boat.”

Goodison later posted on social media that he was hurt when he fell into an open hatch in the hull while helping prepare the boat for towing back to port after racing last Saturday.

“I was lifting the mainsail across the deck and fell through an open hatch into the hull,” Goodison wrote. “I struggled to breathe after the impact, but the extent of the injury wasn’t fully clear until further examination and imaging at the hospital. I’m now working closely with the medical team to assess my return to racing as soon as possible, while continuing to support the team’s path to the semifinals.”

Slingsby said Goodison won’t be ready to sail when American Magic faces Italy’s Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in the Louis Vuitton Cup semifinals on Saturday, and did not have a timeline for when his co-skipper might be back in action.

“Unfortunately, he won't be with us tomorrow. We are still taking it day by day for when he will return,” Slingsby said at a news conference. “We all wish Goodie a quick recovery and we hope that we can still see him in this competition.”

Goodison was an Olympic gold medalist in 2008. This is his third America’s Cup overall and his second with American Magic.

In the meantime, substitute Lucas Calabrese will remain in Goodison’s place on port helm.

Slingsby said that Goodison was still under medical supervision, but that the team was hopeful he could be back. The team would not say whether Goodison was hospitalized.

“The doctors are with him each day and assessing him each day. He was weighed in for our team, so we are hopeful that he will be joining us again," Slingsby said. “It's a tough one where he really wants to be out there with us, but he is not able to at the moment. It's just going to be assessing how quickly he can feel ready to come back on join us.”

The first-to-five-wins series against Luna Rossa begins Saturday, with INEOS Britannia facing Alinghi Red Bull Racing in the other playoff. That will be followed by the Louis Vuitton Cup finals starting on Sept. 26, whose winner will then face defending champion New Zealand in the America’s Cup finals starting on Oct. 12.

A sporty exterior with dynamic lines comes courtesy of Reichel Pugh Design, paired with a spacious 304GT of interiors designed by Design Unlimited/Pieter Laureys. The covered main cockpit allows for all-weather al fresco dining and lounging, with further deck space aft. The transom hatch also opens to double as a generous beach club.

Interior spaces

Blending inside and out, expansive glass windows and doors boast 360-degree views and are complemented by a warm colour palette. The main deck lounge is complete with a comfortable seating area opposite a formal dining table to port, and the glass doors open out to the recessed aft cockpit.

Guest accommodation 

PROJECT MAGIC hosts 10 guests across five cabins, with a spacious full beam owner’s suite located in the stern complete with an en suite bathroom, his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, and an office. Two additional guest cabins are situated aft of the engine room, with one guest and one children’s bunk cabin positioned forward of the engine room.

PROJECT MAGIC is a single screw diesel yacht, giving her a cruising speed of nine knots, a maximum speed of 12 knots, and a range of 3,000nm.

DRAMA AND DELIGHT ON A THRILLING DAY IN THE LOUIS VUITTON CUP SEMI-FINALS

A day of wildly swinging fortunes on a tricky Barcelona racetrack saw the Challenger of Record, INEOS Britannia, secure their place in the Louis Vuitton Cup Final with a win over Alinghi Red Bull Racing in the pair's second race of the day. Meanwhile, in the other side of the draw NYYC American Magic kept the American dream alive with two critical wins over Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli that takes their semi-final series to another day with the scoreline now at 4-3 in this first-to-five-points series.

For the British, this is the second consecutive time they have made the Challenger Selection Series Final, the first ‘Louis Vuitton’ Cup Final since 1983, and it was a hard-fought win on a lumpy sea-state in marginal wind conditions that made boat-handling and manoeuvres extremely tough. A first race loss against Alinghi Red Bull Racing, having set the smaller-sized mainsail, exposed ‘Britannia’ as the wind faded to below 5 knots and allowed the Swiss to keep the semi-final alive, and narrow the series scoreline to 4-2.

However, a much-improved performance in the pair's second race of the day saw Sir Ben Ainslie’s team regain their imperious form of earlier in the series to record an 83 second win with ‘Britannia’ looking back to her best and the team sailing at a level that the young Alinghi Red Bull Racing team simply could not match.

The Swiss now exit the competition having brought flair and glamour to the event shoreside, whilst on the water their young sailors put in stellar performances as they climbed a super-steep learning curve, winning friends and admirers all throughout their campaign.

Speaking afterwards, Sir Ben Ainslie, skipper of INEOS Britannia exuded relief having got his British team over the line, saying: “It was a tough final couple of days in the lighter conditions, hats off to Alinghi Red Bull Racing, they really pushed us hard in those lighter conditions and it was a rough day today where the wind was up and down a lot, a nasty sea state. A tough test for all of the teams, but I'm delighted for our team, for all the hard work and effort to get us this point.”

Offering comfort to the departing Alinghi Red Bull Racing, Sir Ben added: “I think they’re a great organisation, and as a team obviously they have an amazing history in the America's Cup with Ernesto Bertarelli and the rest of the team. Now a younger generation, with a young spirit, led by Arnaud (Psarofaghis) is great to see coming through to try and match the history and achievements of the past. I think they’ve got an exciting future in the America’s Cup.”

Maxime Bachelin, port helm, spoke on behalf of all the Alinghi Red Bull Racing Team saying: “Mixed emotions, but very proud with what we achieved as a new team. A lot of different learnings, but as well a bit sad to finish our adventure here. We gained two points in the last two days, and we were hoping to go for it, so a bit sad for that but very happy as well about the performance of the whole team.”

The drama of the day however was in the other semi-final between Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli and NYYC American Magic with the Americans starting the day at 4-1 down. However, a win in a curious opening race of the day, where soon after the start the wind dropped to below six knots and saw both boats off the foils in displacement mode – swung the momentum in the American's favour.

With the score at 4-2 now the in the second race of the day the Italian team succumbed to some outstanding prestart sailing from the American team and in particular their starboard helmsman Tom Slingsby who led off the start line.

The race was a classic with lead changes aplenty, and a marvellous advert for both the Louis Vuitton 37 th America’s Cup and grand-prix foiling racing, until a dramatic gear failure on the traveller system of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli on leg four of the course brought their race to an abrupt end.

There were no injuries onboard and with the Italians focused on securing their boat, NYYC American Magic strode away to complete the final two legs of the course and record their second win of the day. Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli’s shore team will now work through the night to repair the damage in order to be back racing tomorrow.

Jimmy Spithill, skipper of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli was more than confident in his team bouncing back, saying: “This is high-level sport. I mean this is exactly what you expect. You're always going to get a few curveballs that come your way, but champion teams can deal with that, and we've certainly got a champion team. We have a fantastic team ashore and there's no doubt in my mind that we will be back. Man, I’ll make a bet and I'll put the farm on it that we’ll be out there tomorrow.”

Tom Slingsby, the highly experienced helmsman of NYYC American Magic, was measured in his response to the Italian breakdown, saying: “Obviously, it's never the way you want to win, but by the same token, we were out there giving out our best as well – so you don't want to discredit the work of our team. Our thoughts are with Luna Rossa – it sucks to lose a race like that – but look, they have still got the lead, and they can come out tomorrow and finish it off – or we can get out there and win.” 

Slingsby also offered warm thoughts on the departure of Alinghi Red Bull Racing, saying: “For me it's been great to see Alinghi back in the competition. Their history in this sport, the way they came and won [the America’s Cup] on their first attempt – I don't think that's ever been done before. Ernesto [Bertarelli] is a great supporter of sailing, and they have run an amazing campaign over there. I know how hard everyone in the Swiss team works. They have been here for a long time in Barcelona, and they have been putting in long days, long hours. So just hats off to their whole team for an amazing campaign – and hopefully we see them again next time.”

Now at 4-3, and with sporting momentum, NYYC American Magic will be keen to capitalise and score a win in the opening race tomorrow at 14:00 CET to take this Louis Vuitton Cup semi-final to a deciding race. All eyes will be on the conditions with lighter winds again potentially in the forecast.

Expect the unexpected in the Louis Vuitton 37 th America’s Cup – today the unexpected happened.

Prior to tomorrow afternoon's United States vs Italy match up the UniCredit Youth America's Cup Group B Invited Team will get their eight-race qualification series under way with four races scheduled to start at 1030 CET.

A Beetlejuice drone show will play at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8:30 p.m.

The 10-minute nighttime spectacular features a series of aerial animations synced to theme music from the Beetlejuice films.

The Beetlejuice drone show has already played Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Six Flags Great America in New Jersey.

Previous shows have included drone animations of slithering sandworms, spinning Ferris wheels, blinking neon signs and other imagery related to the films, parks and corporate sponsors.

MCS Magic Castle School

Description of MCS Magic Castle School

• Location: Moscow, Russia
• Year of foundation: 2009,
• Language of instruction: Russian, English,
• Type: mixed.

McS English School offers a full-cycle education from kindergarten to high school. The age contingent of students is from 1 year to 17 years.

Students simultaneously master two programs: British and Russian, after graduation having the opportunity to enter both Russian universities (with the results of the Unified State Exam) and any international ones (with the results of the British exams GCSE and A-Level). The study load is balanced, so students study both programs as efficiently as possible at the optimal time, without overloading and leaving energy for hobbies and personal pursuits.

MCS is a full-time school. All subjects are taught by professional teachers - native speakers of Russian or English. Students of the institution annually demonstrate high levels of academic knowledge at the Olympiads and final exams.

Educational process

In the learning process, students are not given homework: all students are engaged in individual tasks at school, where they also store all textbooks and notebooks, personal laptops.

Programs and prices, tuition fees in MCS Magic Castle School

Pre-school (kindergarten).

• Age - from 1 year to 7 years.

The Pre-School program at MCS offers education for children from 1 year to 7 years. Education in the kindergarten is based on the British educational program, conducted in English and Russian languages.

Teachers and students communicate with each other in English, but for those who do not speak it sufficiently, they make explanations in Russian. All information in the classroom is presented in the form of a game, giving children the opportunity to create, be interested, communicate and adapt to learning at a comfortable pace. In addition to the main classes there are electives: choreography, drawing, music, walks in the fresh air, excursions and much more.

Junior MCS students are always under the supervision of the school staff. Children are provided with five meals a day, classes with a speech therapist if necessary, individual care and attention.

Primary and Middle School

• Age – from 7 to 15 years,
• The training period is 9 years.

Students from the moment of admission to school and until the end of the 9th grade are trained in two programs: Russian and British. Classes are taught by native speakers of two languages, some teachers were born and trained in the UK.

A distinctive feature of the Russian educational program is an intermediate certification at the end of each trimester and year. Studying basic subjects and engaging in project activities, students work both in groups and individually. Mathematics is taught not boring and understandable - in the learning process, the basics of logic and the development of critical thinking are used. In an expanded format, children study experimental sciences, music, cooking, design and modeling.

Since one of the main pillars of education in MCS is the development of the personality of each student, this is given a lot of time. Students regularly create their own projects, embodying their ideas and demonstrating strengths in both learning and creativity.

At the end of the ninth grade, students will have to pass the Russian Unified State Exam or the British GCSE.

A-Level (High School)

• Age – from 16 to 17 years,
• The training period is 2 years.

The senior classes at MCS are focused on the British A-Level program. The process uses a research approach to the study of subjects, so children sincerely love physics, chemistry and mathematics. All training and communication takes place in English. Based on the results of the training, current and annual certification is carried out.

English language

• Age - from 7 years.

Additional English classes are held in two formats: twice a week or daily after classes. The number and complexity of classes depends on the age of the child and his goals.

English-speaking teachers help students do individual tasks (homework in the classroom), provide interesting methods for language development: debates, quests, competitions, lectures and presentations, organize exciting excursions to consolidate the material received.

Preparation for the study of British subjects

Students have the opportunity to prepare in advance for admission to schools and universities in English-speaking countries, starting to study British subjects in the primary grades. Thus, students will have access to:

• Mathematical concepts, terminology, fundamentals of probability theory and data analysis, non-verbal reasoning and non-standard tasks,
• Humanities and natural sciences: fundamentals of geography, history, physics, chemistry, biology,
• Practical skills of oratory and presentations, structuring ideas and confident presentation of material in oral, written formats.

Summer Camp

MCS offers to spend the summer holidays excitingly and usefully, providing several options for a summer camp:

• Camp for children from 7 to 14 years, from 12 to 16 years

Within a few weeks, students will be able to learn the basics of natural sciences, develop their language level, spend a lot of time in the fresh air and find new hobbies for themselves. English is taught by native speakers, which allows us to call the summer program truly effective - one week of training in the camp is equal to a year of learning English at school.

The camp runs from the beginning of June to the end of August, the shifts last one week and have individual themes.

• English Camp

Any vacation during the school year can be spent within the walls of the English camp MCS. Here, children daily study basic disciplines in an interesting and exciting format, visit Moscow exhibitions and museums, interact with native speakers and relax. Every day, children spend a lot of time in nature, constantly speak English and hone important life skills. You can study both full-time on one of the campuses of the school, and online.

• Summer Kindergarten

For pupils from 2 to 6 years old, a summer vacation program is offered, within the framework of which children will learn English, learn about the world around them, engage in creativity and sports in the open air. From the end of May to the end of August, weekly shifts are held on various topics dedicated to cultures and countries of all continents.

• Camp in Sochi

All students have the opportunity to relax and improve their language level outside the Moscow campus, coming to Sochi for a few weeks. Participants of the camp are waiting for a variety of entertainment: swimming in the sea, daily activities, games and quests, communication with native speakers and much more. The shift takes place from 12 to 26 June, students are provided with accommodation, meals, medical care and other services.

Accommodation, meals, prices

All pupils are provided with five meals a day during the school days: breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and light dinner. The menu is developed in conjunction with highly qualified nutritionists, so the food can be called healthy, balanced and safe even for those who have allergic reactions or special medical needs. Dishes are prepared taking into account the season and include a variety of ingredients: fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products, cereals.

Activities MCS Magic Castle School

Students have the opportunity to develop their personal interests within the school walls. After the main classes, MCS opened circles of choreography, art and design, IT technologies, cooking, music, sports and personal growth - more than 30 areas of extracurricular development.

On the basis of learning English, individual lessons are also held for students of all ages. Students gain knowledge through master classes, games, exciting competitions and quests, can prepare for exams.

During the holidays, all students have the opportunity to join school excursions to the sights and public places of Moscow.

• Bilingual education,
• Small classes: from 10 to 15 children depending on the stage of training,
• High school students are fully prepared for admission to schools and universities in the UK or other countries,
• Level of education – private school in England,
• More than 10 years of quality education,
• Certification of the institution in the international system.

Facilities and equipment at MCS Magic Castle School

Pupils of the junior, middle and senior school departments are trained in different buildings. The campuses are located at five addresses of the city of Moscow:

• Chernyshevskogo lane, metro station Novoslobodskaya,
• 1-i Khvostov per., st.m. "Glade",
• Krasnoproletarskaya str., metro station Novoslobodskaya,
• Likhov per., st.m. "Tsvetnoy Boulevard",
• Pictornaya Str., metro station "Polezhaevskaya".

Some buildings accommodate students of a kindergarten and one of the school departments. For training, lecture and practical classes with audio and video equipment, computer classes and recreation areas are equipped.

Admission dates and extra charges

The academic year consists of trimesters and lasts from September 1 to May 31. Trimester dates:

• September-November,
• December-February,
• March-early June.

The institution operates on a 5+1 system, which implies a week-long vacation after every five weeks of training. The exception is classes in March-April - in the spring months, training lasts nine weeks.

So, the holidays fall on the following dates:

• 10-14 October,
• 21-25 November,
• December 24-January 9,
• February 20-24,

MCS is a full-day school that is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The main classes last until 14:00, between them there are breaks of 15 minutes. After the lessons, students take time to develop their interests by attending clubs and sections.

Many aspects of educational life are included in the cost of the program. In addition, you will need to pay for books and consumables.

• One-time entrance fee 300000 RUB

Enrolment process

The process of admission to the school begins with filling out a questionnaire full-time on campus or online. It is necessary to provide the required documents and find out the date of passing the entrance tests in English and Russian, mathematics. Also, all adult family members are interviewed.

Enrollment is based on the results of testing, subject to the availability of free places in the class of interest.

Perspectives

High school graduates receive an A-Level and GCSE certificate or a Cambridge CAE certificate, which give a great advantage when entering universities in English-speaking countries. Upon completion of MCS, children have a high level of English language proficiency equivalent to TOEFL 110, IELTS 8.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

To enter MCS, you will need:

• Personal documents of the child: birth certificate, SNILS, registration at the place of residence, medical card,
• A copy of the passport of one of the parents,
• Completed contract and confirmation of acceptance,
• The result of knowledge of English.

Levels of language proficiency for each of the classes:

• The first is YLE Starters,
• The second is YLE Movers,
• The third is YLE Flyers,
• Fourth – KET,
• Fifth – PET,
• Seventh – FCE,
• The ninth is CAE.

• A 5% discount is given to a second child from the same family who goes to MCS (+ a discount of one registration fee).
