Seit September 2020 haben wir als Golf Club eine Kooperation mit der Yachthotel Chiemsee GmbH, durch die wir unseren Mitgliedern die Möglichkeit geben können, auch im Winter am Ball zu bleiben.  Mit dem TrackMan 4 bietet das Yachthotel Chiemsee seinen Gästen den modernsten Indoor-Golf-Simulator auf dem Markt. Das System lässt sich kinderleicht durch ein „One Button Prinzip“ starten und ist somit für die entspannte Genussrunde mit Freunden bestens geeignet. Außerdem hat man die Wahl zwischen den schönsten Golfplätzen der Welt.

Wer möchte, kann zusammen mit unserem Pro Frank Schefer aber auch präzise und modern trainieren, eine Schlaganalyse machen und sogar die Platzreife kann während der Wintermonate am TrackMan abgenommen werden.

The gym is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We offer group fitness classes such as yoga, meditation, and Nordic walking for a fee.

In both summer and winter, the surrounding area promises numerous activities: In addition to water sports such as sailing, stand-up paddling, canoeing, and kayaking, hiking, mountain tours, and skiing in the Bavarian Alps are also on offer. The Yachthotel Chiemsee has compiled selected mountain tours of the area in its own hiking booklet with insider tips. Those who prefer to explore the area by bike can rent an e-bike from the hotel (approx. UK £34 / USD $42 per day, seasonal).

For golfers, the hotel holds a special feature: In addition to the 11 surrounding golf courses, the digital indoor golf facility "TrackMan4" offers an optimal training session even in bad weather (approx. UK £44 / USD $54 per hour). The surrounding golf courses are within a radius of about 40 km and are suitable for beginners, advanced players, and professionals. With the Chiemsee Golfcard, you receive the green fee at a reduced price on all courses.

Maykop – the view from above

Maykop (“the valley of apple trees” from the Adyghe language) is a city with a population of about 139 thousand people located in the south of European Russia, the capital of the Republic of Adygea .

The main urban development of Maykop was carried out in Soviet times and it was done quite systematically. The streets of the city for the most part are strictly perpendicular to each other, its entire center consists of identical city blocks. Photos by: Slava Stepanov .

The main mosque of Maykop. Built in 1999-2000, it is also the seat of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Adygea and Krasnodar Krai .

Monument “Unity and Harmony” – a memorial complex made in the form of an Adyghe hearth, which since ancient times has been considered the material and spiritual basis of the home and family. Local people call it just “hearth”. It is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Caucasian War (1817-1864) and is a symbol of unity of all residents of the republic.

Monument “Forever with Russia” made in the form of two warriors who personify Adygea and Russia. It was opened in honor of the 400th anniversary of the union of Adygea and Russia.
