VICTORIA DEL MAR Yacht for Sale

The 2006 Delta VICTORIA DEL MAR, the largest 50-meter yacht in the world, showcases some amazing features and capabilities from America’s preeminent shipyard, Delta Marine. With 781 gross tons and an impressive 7,500 square feet of living space, VICTORIA DEL MAR boasts seven well-appointed staterooms, an on-deck dedicated gym, a garage, an elevator and so much more. The master stateroom is on the bridge deck with a private balcony and incredible views while the two VIP staterooms are on the main deck forward. She has state-of-the-art composite construction for long-term reliability and lower cost and still offers the blue water capability to cross oceans with her full displacement hull.

The Delta Design Group was responsible for her entire engineering package, including naval architecture and exterior styling. The yacht is equipped with Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers making her extremely comfortable at anchor and underway. Her preferred twin Caterpillar 3512 engines were rebuilt in 2018, and her ABS 15-year class special survey was completed in 2021. VICTORIA DEL MAR boasts an impressive charter history and is ideal for an owner seeking a yacht with unlimited charter potential.

VICTORIA DEL MAR’s contemporary interior showcases a mixture of light woods and cool color tones. Her visionary owner worked closely with Claudette Bonville Associates and chose to incorporate glass along with some stonework, bringing the aesthetic of the ocean indoors. The use of custom glasswork can be seen throughout the entire interior, including glass countertops in the guest bathrooms that add an element of drama and the striking blown glass chandelier situated above the dining table that measures over 8 feet in length and weighs more than 1,000 pounds. The superyacht is equipped with an all-decks elevator for ease of access and features a beautiful main staircase made of Anigre and Zebrawood. A full gym can be found on the main deck and is convertible to a massage or spa room if desired.

Entering the main salon, you will find a wet bar to port and a large buffet to starboard. The seating areas are nearly identical, with two couches, two coffee tables, four ottomans and four armchairs offering seating for a total of 14 guests. A TV is forward that drops down into a built-in cabinet when not in use. The 12-person formal dining table is forward, featuring a massive solid glass tabletop on a custom cantilever stainless steel base. The table is surrounded by built-in custom china, silver and stemware storage. VICTORIA DEL MAR’s skylounge is an exceptional space to relax, be it lounging on the comfortable couches in front of the large-screen TV or enjoying a cocktail on the port and starboard veranda balconies.

Seven elegant staterooms welcome 14 guests for private use or 12 for charter service. Her king-size master suite is located on the bridge deck aft and offers a semi-private, full-beam air-conditioned aft deck space with removable windows, a full-service bar, a table with seating for eight and direct access to the sundeck and main deck aft. This unique space is perfect for a private meal or a meeting and offers guests their own private, quiet haven away from the noise of the rest of the yacht. The suite features 180-degree views, a writing desk/vanity and a seating area with a couch and chair. Two VIP staterooms with queen-size beds are forward on the main deck. Below deck, the yacht offers two queen staterooms and two twin staterooms, all outfitted with the same luxurious accompaniments as the master. Aft is the foyer where the elevator lands on this deck. Each of VICTORIA DEL MAR’s guest cabins includes private en-suite bathrooms. Including the Captain, up to 12 crewmembers can be accommodated onboard.

The superyacht’s exterior deck spaces are second to none. Her aft deck features sliding windows for wind and sun protection. There is a built-in settee aft, a table and seating for nine. A glass-enclosed spiral staircase leads up to the owner’s deck and sundeck levels. VICTORIA DEL MAR’s sundeck is centered around entertainment. The space is complete with an outdoor galley, a bar and a 100” HD cinema screen, creating the perfect alfresco cinema. Guests will enjoy the large Jacuzzi, abundance of sunpads and alfresco dining area. The yacht’s sundeck is complete with a full day head including a shower for added convenience. The hardtop offers shade when needed.

VICTORIA DEL MAR’s storage for tenders and toys is excellent. The yacht’s tender is conveniently stored in the float-in aft garage, while her foredeck houses Jet Skis and a bow crane for ease of launch. Her extensive toy list further contributes to her already-impressive charter capabilities.

Moving forward into the crew quarters from the guest area, on port are stairs leading up to the crew mess and lower deck laundry area. The laundry area is fully equipped with three full size machines, a sink and steam iron. Continuing forward to starboard is the engineer’s cabin with the lower bunk being a queen and an upper single berth. This cabin can either be for a couple or two crew. There is a full-size working desk in this cabin and ensuite bath. Moving forward there are four more cabins, each ensuite and with upper/lower berth configuration. In total, including the Captain, there is accommodation for up to 11/12 crew. The storage under the crew’s quarters is noteworthy as it is a massive area for provisions and dry storage that is well organized and easily accessible.

Owners Deck / Skylounge / Bridge Deck

Starting from the bridge deck foyer aft of the bridge, you can arrive here either via the elevator or stairwell to all decks. Moving aft to port is a day head for this deck level. The floors in the foyer and skylounge are finished in mahogany and holly. Forward from there you enter the very spacious bridge. The bridge is designed for both operating the yacht and for guest comfort. A huge wrap around u-shaped settee is raised for views out the pilot house windows with two tables. Outside the bridge on both port and starboard sides there are drop down control wing stations, which are positioned perfectly for close quarter maneuvering. On the port side aft of the pilot house is the ship’s office and further aft from here is the Captain’s cabin with ensuite head and excellent storage, including two very large hanging lockers.

Starting from the foyer on this deck level and going aft you enter the sky lounge through a set of custom glass doors. Portside is a full-service bar with fossilized wood top. Further forward is a game table; aft is a settee, coffee table and two chairs. A unique feature in this area are the verandas on both port and starboard, both with chairs and tables. The door to the verandas can also be left open, should one like to have fresh air with cross ventilation.

Aft of the skylounge is the massive Owner’s full beam suite, consisting of a bedroom, large his & her bathroom, and a private enclosed deck. Aside from the incredible privacy and space, the position of the Owner’s suite on bridge deck level means you are far from the noises created when the yacht is in operation, such as the bow thruster and anchor deployment. The king berth facing aft offers 180ᵒ views. To port there is a writing desk/vanity and on starboard is a sitting area with couch and chair for reading or relaxing. Two nice walk-in closets to either side provide ample, accessible storage. The owner’s head is beautifully finished with a large bathtub, separate shower, and double wash basins.

Further aft is the enclosed aft deck with full climate control, full-service bar, dinette table and multiple seating areas to relax in privacy or with some company for an intimate meal. A circular stairway that is enclosed with glass and a sliding door provides access to the sundeck or lower aft deck.

The sun deck has multiple access by the aft spiral staircase, the elevator, or internal stairs forward which lead up from the central staircase through all decks.

The sun deck is massive, offering plenty of space for sunning or shade. Moving from aft to forward there is a davit to port for storing wave runners on ocean crossings. Nearby is an 8 person Jacuzzi/hot tub and four chaise lounges. On center is a beautiful dining area which seats 18 guests. Under the hard top on port side is a day head complete with shower. Forward of the dining area is the elevator, which again services all decks. On the port side of the elevator is a full-service bar which faces both aft and forward. Further forward and to starboard is a wonderful built-in settee for intimate conversations.

The hard top covering this area is a true work of art. It has been engineered so there are no posts interfering with the view and built with hybrid composites. All the way forward on the sun deck is the staircase which leads down to the bridge deck main foyer.

Engine Room And Garage

The engine room is entered either via the swim platform or port side aft main deck.

The tender is located aft with a float-in garage. This garage has an amazing design, which keeps the tender and its operations completely out of the guest spaces. In addition, the tender can be launched and recovered in less than two minutes. When coastal cruising, the wave runners are stowed on the foredeck. For ocean passages they are stowed on the sun deck.

The Wellington Yacht: Specs & Cost

The wellington yacht: what you need to know about the ‘below deck’ vessel.

On the fifth season of the hit TV show Below Deck Mediterranean , the luxury yacht featured was the biggest boat in the series’ history. 1 Captain Sandy Yawn and her crew sailed charter clients around the Spanish resort town of Mallorca in The Wellington yacht. In actuality, the 184.5-foot luxury yacht is called The Wellesley and was only called The Wellington on the show. Outside of the show, the M/Y The Wellesley is available for charter. Don’t worry, there won’t be any reality TV cameras on board! Our team at Yacht Management South Florida Inc. provide a look at this vessel, as well as many other insights on our yacht maintenance blog , to let our current and future clients have a better idea of what's going on in the industry.

M/Y THE WELLESLEY Details

Built in 1993 by Netherlands based custom yacht builder Oceanco, it went through a major yacht refit in 2016. Coming out to 184.5 feet or 56.2 meters in length, the superyacht has a cruising speed of 14 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots. Its exterior was designed by Gerhard Gilgenast and its elegant 1920s inspired interior was designed by Donald Starkey. Mahogany bedrooms, Italian linens, and painted portraits of Winston Churchill and Che Guevara smoking cigars are just a few of the details that bring in Jazz Age glamour to the vessel's interior.

"Obviously, they spared no expense when it comes to this. This owner really loves his cigars and his whiskey." – Captain Sandy Yawn 2

Accommodation & Amenities

With one master suite, one VIP suite, 3 triple cabins, and 2 pullman beds, M/Y The Wellesley accommodates up to 12 guests. The vessel can also accommodate up to 12 crew members to ensure a luxury experience for guests. Special amenities on the vessel include a large open deck space, a club lounge, a spillpool on the sun deck, a waterfall-equipped jacuzzi, a gym, and a cigar room!

The Wellington Yacht Cost to Charter

Written by Rachael Steele

Luxury yacht BG , known as VALOR on the Below Deck Series , might be the most recognisable vessel from the Below Deck series as she featured in not one but three series. Memorable moments onboard include a salad ‘nightmare’, a back waxing and a medical scare to go along with plenty of partying on board.  Motor yacht BG was built by renowned Dutch shipyard Feadship in 1990, and of course, received an extensive refit in 2015 before filming took place on board from 2016 onwards. Today, charter guests can expect the same gorgeous interiors, lavish outdoor areas and an impressive selection of water toys.

The Interiors

The camera-ready interiors from Taylor Hannah Architect are glamorous and easy-going at the same time, using a monochrome palette for a clean environment where the sense of light and space is emphasised. The formal dining area immediately draws in the with its glass chandelier and 120 bottle wine cellar creating ambient surroundings along with the rosewood table.

The main salon has plenty of plush seating along the port side for the whole group to gather for conversation and an aperitif before a meal, with a top-quality 47″ TV to entertain little ones while the expert chef prepares dinner. For top-notch entertainment, the sky lounge has a relaxed cinema setup with a wall-mounted 75″ widescreen TV and two L-shaped sofas for cosy group gatherings with friends and family.

The Exteriors

Life on the water is all about connecting with the sea and the surroundings, and luxury yacht BG gives guests plenty of reason to leave behind the air-conditioned salons for the outdoor life.

The main deck aft is a convenient space to rest in the shade with quick access to the tender and water toys the moment they are ready.

The upper deck aft is the main outdoor living area and will see much use throughout the charter thanks to its large alfresco dining table and abundance of seating and sun loungers. The area can be shaded for all-day outdoor use and is the perfect place to return to and nap after taking the water slide or the climbing wall over the edge. Side walkways will take guests around to the Portuguese deck in front of the bridge, where there is a row of sunbeds with panoramic views.

Guests looking for the Jacuzzi will find it on the sundeck aft, a tranquil environment compared to the social hub below. The sunbeds forward allow guests to rest together in privacy, with sweeping views of the surrounding scenery.

Master Suite

Master Suite

The Accommodation

The crisp and cool accommodation sleeps a total of 12 guests across 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins convertible to doubles.

The main deck master suite is a treat for the main charter guests and is ideal for honeymooners who relish their privacy: In addition to a king-sized bed, there is a plush sofa, TV entertainment, a desk/vanity to get ready for the next glamorous occasion, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and two-person shower.

The VIP stateroom is adjacent to the Master suite and boasts its own king-sized bed, TV entertainment and armchairs to rest weary feet in complete comfort.

The rest of the guest cabins are placed on the lower deck, and two can be converted from doubles to twins to accommodate any children in the group.

The Water Toys

Superyacht BG has a large selection of water toys on board to suit adrenaline seekers and loungers alike, and the collection includes:

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 cast: Meet Captain Glenn’s new and returning crew members

Captain Glenn on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5

Captain Glenn Shephard will be back on the small screen soon for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5.

After a delay and a slew of fan speculation, Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht finally received a premiere date and a trailer.

However, in true Below Deck fashion, a couple of alums make up Captain Glenn’s latest crew, but a fan favorite is missing.

Colin MacRae isn’t returning as Chief Engineer after a turbulent Season 4 that fractured his friendships with Gary King and Daisy Kellier.

The three helped revamp the sailing show after a lackluster Season 1, making it a hit along with Captain Glenn. Colin will undoubtedly be missed.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are back

Two people needing no introduction are Gary and Daisy, who are each back for their fourth season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Last summer, photos of Gary and Daisy filming Season 5 were leaked; honestly, we weren’t surprised to see them in the mix. Despite their friction, which amps up for Season 5, Daisy and Gary make good television.

Gary was featured much less in the trailer than in previous seasons, and that likely has to do with the sexual misconduct allegations that came out after Season 5 was filmed. Recently, Gary shared an update about his accuser as he continues to proclaim his innocence.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Above Deck Podcast (@abovedeckpod)

Who are Captain Glenn Shephard’s new Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 crew members?

Chef Cloyce Martin takes over the galley, and at 22, his age will play a huge factor in the season. We already see him clash with Daisy in the trailer.

Davide Morosi takes over Colin’s chief engineer role, and he seems to be pretty private, with little to no activity on social media.

Stew Diana Cruz declares herself “an organized mess” who has caught the acting and yachting bug.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Diana Cruz (@dianacruzc_)

Danni Warren rounds out the interior crew. She has a connection with Below Deck Med’s Bri Muller and seems to want to be in the social media influencer game, too.

Deckhand Keith Allen catches Daisy’s eye on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5. Keith isn’t just a sailing yachtie but a photographer and diver who loves to travel.

Emma Crouch makes up the rest of Gary’s deck team. She’s all about being a yachtie, including helping others get into the business as a trainer with Paper Boat Yachting Academy.

That’s a brief preview of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 cast. Fans will have to turn in to find out more about Captain Glenn’s crew, especially to learn how Daisy and Gary work together after their Season 4 fallout.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premieres on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

‘Below Deck Med’ Boat For Sale: Is Captain Sandy Docking For Good?

[Credit: BravoTV/YouTube]

Below Deck Med Season 6 trailer just came out. TV Shows Ace previously shared the details of the forthcoming season , in case you missed out. The trailer alone created its share of controversy. Captain Sandy Yawn is back at the helm of the superyacht, Lady Michelle.

She’s returning alongside bosun Malia White. Apparently, Season 6 filming took place before the Season 5 backlash. Fans are calling for a boycott of the new season since they didn’t like how Sandy and Malia treated former Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier. Now, it looks like the Lady Michelle is now up for sale.

Is Captain Sandy docking her boat for good?

Below Deck Med Season 6 yacht for sale

The Below Deck Med yacht that’s featured on Season 6 is for sale for $19.5 million. The luxury superyacht was built in 2003 and features six cabins, which can accommodate up to 12 charter guests, according to Yacht Harbour . It also fits up to 14 crew members, which means five additional crew members can work behind the scenes on the show. It has enough room for the cast, crew, and production team.

While the Lady Michelle boasts a lot of room, it’s smaller than last season’s yacht, which was the biggest ever on the series. Below Deck Med Season 5 had the largest vessel ever on the show called The Wellington. It was also the first time the show had three women in charge. However, that ended quickly when Sandy fired Hannah for having unregistered Valium and a CBD pen on board. It was the first-ever firing in the show’s history and fans are still not over it.

RT for Captain Lee, ❤️ for Captain Sandy, Reply for Captain Glenn. Watch all 3 captains dish on THAT #BelowDeckSailing boat crash and more June 1 on Bravo's YouTube channel. In the meantime, stream BDSY to get all caught up on the drama: https://t.co/NlOfoKZbPK pic.twitter.com/AlnjCyqstB — Bravo (@BravoTV) May 29, 2021

Still, Lady Michelle is the more expensive of the Below Deck yacht rentals. It has a rental charge of $275,000 per week , while The Wellington currently charges $304,500 per week during the peak season. My Seanna has a higher yacht rental rate at $392,000, while the superyacht Sirocco from Below Deck Med Seasons 2 and 4 charges as much as $237,000 per week during the busy season.

Is Captain Sandy quitting her job?

Just because the Below Deck Med Season 6 yacht is for sale doesn’t mean Captain Sandy is hanging up her stripes. She previously enjoyed sailing on The Wellington, but she did not love the wing station. Most wing stations are located outside so the captain can have a full view when it comes time to dock the boat. The wing station was located inside of The Wellington, which made her even more reliant on Malia.

Love being out on the water! And love my job! #Superyachts #BoatingMeansBusiness #WednesdayVibes pic.twitter.com/TcqHAsFZ0x — Captain Sandy Yawn ⚓ (@CaptSandyYawn) September 2, 2020

So, she switched over to Lady Michelle for Season 6. It’s common for captains to switch to another yacht for the next charter season. However, it’s unclear why this yacht is suddenly for sale. Sandy made it clear that she loves yachting and has no intentions of leaving her job, even if the fans want her gone. In Season 3 of Below Deck Med , Sandy’s difficult work relationship with Hannah almost made her say goodbye to her career.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 premieres on Monday, June 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

With some truly unique features including a cigar lounge and quirky 1920's interior theme, The Wellington  (also known as the Wellesley) is one of the most impressive yachts ever to feature on Below Deck Mediterranean.

Virtual Tour inside superyacht The Wellington (aka The Wellesley)

The yacht was launched in 1993 by prestigious Dutch shipyard Oceanco.  A complete refit in 2016 ensures she remains modern, fresh and is equipped with all the latest facilities and technology to ensure a relaxed yacht charter vacation .

She is the perfect host for the new season of Below Deck Mediterranean, as Captain Sandra Yawn explains in the video below. She is accompanied by Bosun Malia White and Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier as they give a tour of the yacht.

What's the real name of the below deck mediterranean season 5 yacht.

For the purpose of the show, the yacht in Below Deck Med Season 5 is called 'The Wellington.' In real life, the charter yacht is actually 'The Wellesley'. Often the names of the yachts on Below Deck will be changed; read our article  'Below Deck Yacht Real Names and Cost to Rent' for more information.

Great Gatsby-style Interiors

As you can see from the virtual tour, the yacht's interiors are seriously stunning.

They have been created by world-renowned designer Donald Starkey, and the Art Deco theme is reflected across all areas of the superyacht.

The yacht's main salon can be found on the upper deck. An elegant nameplate greets guests when they step inside via the aft deck, and black and white photos on the wall add some character to the living space.

A color palette of light gray and cream creates a soothing ambiance, while wide windows let in plenty of light and air during the day. On the forward wall, a large TV screen with a range of on-demand movies allows the space to function as a movie theater.

Forward of the main salon is the formal dining salon, which seats up to 10 guests.

The Club Lounge

guests who enjoy the finer luxuries in life will make great use of superyacht the wellesley club lounge where they can drink scotch as they cruise mallorca

On the bridge deck above, the yacht's classic club lounge is a beautiful and unusual touch not often seen on yachts. The salon has a timeless theme, with leather seating, a warm coffee color palette and noir photographs depicting historical icons smoking.

The piece de resistance is a bespoke, glass-encased humidor to port. It showcases a huge variety of vintage cigars, and is flanked either side by decadent whiskey cabinets with snakeskin embossing and crystal glasses.

The space is more intimate than the main salon below, and benefits from an entertainment system and small study space.

Accommodation

The motor yacht offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in five cabins.

A master cabin on the owner’s deck offers incredible views, a king-size double bed and a walk-in closet. A small vanity and bijou lounging area ensures the principal charter guests are totally catered to.

Adjoining the master cabin is a decadent en-suite finished in gold-veined black marble with a sit-down shower and his and hers sinks. Not including the en suite and walk-in closet, the master suite spans 40 square metres.

Close to the Owner's cabin, the nanny’s cabin is also conveniently located on this deck. It features twin beds and ensuite bathroom.

The remaining cabins are situated on the lower deck and include a 30sqm full-beam VIP Cabin with king-size double bed, a spacious walk-in closet and a generous bathroom en suite including a separate shower and a separate head.

There is a Queen- size cabin to Starboard and Twin cabin to Port; both benefit from ensuite facilities.

Sundeck pool with waterfall feature

The yacht has one of the largest volumes of open deck space for a yacht of her size class, and one of the favorite spot while on charter is the sundeck.

Here, a large pool offers the perfect spot for lying back and soaking up the sights. It has an innovative 'spillpool' feature, with a waterfall that feeds fresh water into the tub.

As ever, we can expect to see the yachties from Below Deck Med enjoying the jacuzzi to the fullest after big crew nights out!

As well as the pool, the sundeck also boasts a large alfresco dining arrangement, a variety of sunloungers and a barbecue.

Outdoor barbecue

The Wellington is one of the few Below Deck yachts to feature an alfresco barbecue grill on deck. We're keeping our fingers crossed that new chef Kiko Lorran will be putting it to the test and whipping some gourmet delights on the barbecue.

Ample alfresco areas including generous beach club

Guests on Below Deck Mediterranean will find no shortage of places to enjoy the sunshine on board the Wellington. As well as her sundeck, she also has a large lounge area on her upper deck aft, which is adjoined by a  sunpad spread.

There is an alfresco dining set-up on her main deck aft, where guests can enjoy their meals while still feeling connected to the sea and their surroundings.

The finishing touch is the beach club, which is a welcome retreat where guests can sit back and relax in the shade or bask in the sun on the swim platform.

The yacht has an excellent selection of water toys and accessories, which includes Seabobs and Jet-skis. All of these can easily be accessed via the swim platform, and will ensure hours of fun splashing in the water.

Below Deck Yachts

Yacht with Below Deck logo

If you’ve never seen the show, it follows the crew of a luxury yacht during peak “charter season.” The original Below Deck, for example, showed off the glitz and glamour of the Caribbean, especially around St. Thomas, the British Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. The Mediterranean spin-off, on the other hand, highlights European hotspots, including Italy, Spain and Croatia.

The show is undeniably a ton of fun. From the drama in the crew quarters, to the incredible beaches, the show provides an entertaining look behind the curtain.

Yet, the chartered superyachts are the real stars of the show. Each season, Below Deck features a truly stunning super yacht. All of them measure over 150 feet and are decked out in opulent features, staterooms and amenities. And here’s something you might not know: The majority of the Below Deck yachts are available for charter!

Below Deck Charter Yachts

Through five seasons, Below Deck has featured some of the most magnificent super yachts in the world. Some of the yachts have changed ownership since the show, been renamed, or have undergone a refitting. Yet, most look like they did from the show.

But beyond the name and maybe a few changes to the interior, there aren’t many differences. All of the water toys, Jacuzzis and stunning outdoor dining areas are what you’ll find on the yachts available for charter! So which charter yachts are available?

Here’s a more detailed look at the yachts featured on the original Below Deck:

Honor – Season 1

Lumiere yacht

Honor (which is now LUMIERE) kicked off the first season, and she put on a dazzling display. The yacht, originally built by Benetti in 1999, is one of the largest yachts ever featured on the show, and it was actually booked for a five-week charter for filming.

HONOR benefited from the new-found fame of the show. She sold after it aired for nearly $15 million, and the new owners completely refit her interiors and renamed the boat. Today, LUMIERE is a masterpiece of nautical engineering.

She features luxurious accommodations for up to 12 guests and an abundance of deck space, including a sprawling sun deck. The yacht also features a wide array of water toys (the slide was a struggle for the crew all season!).

Ohana – Season 2

Yacht Rhino

Season 2 took the crew on a tour of the British Virgin Islands and featured some familiar faces. Captain Lee, Chef Ben, and Bosun Eddie were back, much to the pleasure of fans. Yet, the yacht was completely different.

OHANA (real name is RHINO) was featured on the second season, a stunning 154-footer, with beautiful decks, a horseshoe outdoor bar, and a stunning outdoor sun deck. After the show aired in 2014, Ohana underwent an extensive retrofit.

She now features an updated interior with a decidedly modern, airy vibe, as well as new hardware, including a state-of-the-art stabilization system.

Eros – Season 3

Yacht Mustang Sally

EROS took centerstage in Season 3, and the 161-foot yacht, originally built for the founder of Tim Hortons, was one of the most luxurious featured on the show. The beautiful tri-deck, featured a stately saloon, a sky lounge Jacuzzi, and sleek exterior styling.

EROS – which was sold prior to the third season – has since been renamed and was also remodeled. She’s now known as Mustang Sally, and unfortunately, this is one of the few Below Deck charter yachts that’s not available for charter.

Valor – Seasons 4 & 5

below deck yacht for sale

The stately VALOR was a fan favorite in Season 4 and 5. Built in 1990 by Dutch-based Feadship, the 154-foot VALOR featured a sprawling aft deck, perfect for sunset dinners and afternoon lounges. Plus, the ship – when featured on the show – had a range of water toys, including dual jet skis and a sleek, boutique hotel-inspired interior.

Like Mustang Sally, VALOR – which is now known as simply BG – isn’t available for charter. Yet, fans will always remember all the drama that took place on board.

Below Deck Mediterranean Yachts

Below Deck Mediterranean premiered in 2016, and through three seasons, the show has featured some of the Med’s best yachts. All of the yachts from the Mediterranean spin-off are available for charter, exactly how you see them on the show.

Ionian Princess – Season 1

Yacht Ionian Princess

Season 1 of Below Deck Mediterranean launched with a bang, featuring one of the strongest premieres for the franchise. Although there was plenty of drama throughout the season as the crew traveled around Greece, the beauty of IONIAN PRINCESS couldn’t be missed. The ship, which was originally built in the U.S. in 2005, featured a sleek, streamlined tri-deck design and gorgeous interiors.

The sun deck – where guests partied all season long – is one of the yacht’s star attractions, featuring a Jacuzzi with world-class views. Her interior, though, is one of the most stunning, featuring a chic design. The yacht also includes six cabins with accommodations for up to 12 guests.

Sirocco – Season 2

Sirocco yacht

Season 2 took the crew to Croatia, aboard SIROCCO. The Dutch-built yacht originally launched in 2006, and thanks to its unique two-tone, third-deck exterior, she was remembered for her striking exterior. All of the yacht’s features made great TV. From her incredible sun deck, to the African chic interior, and all of the many water toys, SIROCCO’s impressive design and amenities stood out.

Today, she’s available for charter throughout the Mediterranean. A few unique features include a sun deck gym, an alfresco party deck, a theatre, and a wide array of water toys.

Talisman Maiton – Season 3

Talisman

Named for an island in Thailand, TAILSMAN MAITON is a stunning tri-deck that cruises the pristine waters of Italy and all of the Mediterranean. The largest to ever be featured on the show, TAILSMAN is truly incredible.

The yacht accommodates 12 guests, in 6 beautifully appointed rooms. There’s a master suite, as well as 1 VIP stateroom, and four smaller cabins. The yacht was built in 2006, but most recently refit in 2016 with a timeless Art Deco aesthetic. The yacht also features a sundeck spa pool with a beautiful bar, a full-service gym, and an observation deck with panoramic views.

How Long Are the Below Deck Charters?

Here’s a little-known secret about Below Deck: The “charter season” on the show is just a few weeks. In fact, the yachts are actually booked for about six weeks, and their regular crews are sent home. In other words, the charters on Below Deck are actually a charter within a charter!

Each of the Below Deck charters last just a few days, and each episode features new charter guests.

Below Deck Yacht Rental Costs

Hiring a yacht from Below Deck isn’t cheap. The majority cost in the neighborhood of $150,000 per week. Yet, that charter rate doesn’t include expenses, including fuel, dockage fees, and taxes.

Yet, for that price, you’ll get a truly world-class experience. The crews of each of these yachts provide first-class service and all of the boats are fully loaded with amenities. There’s nothing quite like it in the world. And by hiring one of these superyachts, you’ll also have bragging rights for chartering a yacht featured on a TV show!

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary King’s Sexual Misconduct Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary King Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is coming back for season 5 after Gary King’s sexual misconduct scandal.

Bravo announced on Monday, September 16, that the next season reunites Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher and Gary as they spend their charter season in Ibiza. The rest of the cast includes chef Cloyce Martin , chef engineer Davide Morosi , stews Diana Cruz , Danni Warren and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch .

The upcoming installment comes more than one year after Below Deck Sailing Yacht wrapped up its fourth season on Bravo in July 2023.

Gary’s future as a cast member has been up in the air, however, since a production assistant from the show accused him of making unwanted advances while filming season 4.

In a Rolling Stone exposé, which was published in October 2023, Samantha Suarez and other former employees, who asked to remain anonymous, accused Bravo of allegedly helping cover up Gary’s inappropriate behavior.

“It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times,” one of the accusers alleged. “I had to promote and make this guy who just assaulted someone look awesome. That was my job, to make this person look cool, capable and exciting.”

Samantha recalled being asked to look after Gary when he allegedly got drunk. Once filming wrapped, Samantha remained with Gary in his hotel room before he tried to stop her from leaving by pressing himself against her. Samantha alleged that Gary refused to let her leave until she started to fight back.

According to Samantha, she alerted producers about the incident , who told Gary to sleep on the boat on days when the crew wasn’t filming as a way to keep him out of the hotel.

Bravo addressed the allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone , saying, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.”

Gary has maintained his innocence since news broke about the claim. “I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down,” he replied to a fan via Instagram one month later.

'BG' feadship Superyacht

This 33-year-old superyacht ‘BG’ comes from the world-renowned Dutch shipyard Feadship and features their classic exterior lines. She was built back in 1990 at their De Vries shipyard in the Netherlands and has since undergone refits in 2015 and 2022. She has a length of 46.9m, a beam of 8.8m and she sits in the water with a 2.9m draft.

This world cruiser has a steel mono hull, topped by an aluminium superstructure. Her design and naval architecture is the work of award-winning Frits De Voogt. With a gross tonnage of 515, she is propelled through the water by her twin CAT 3508 DITA diesel engines (905 hp each) at a top speed of 15 knots. When cruising at 12 knots she has a max range of 5000 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 69,800 litres.

Her interior design was the work of New York based McMillen Design, and her later reconfiguration is courtesy of Toronto based Dee Dee Taylor Eustace, founder of Taylor Hannah Architect Inc. She features high-end finishes in dark woods contrasted against refreshing bright whites, creating a beach house vibe that’s straight out of the Hamptons.

BG can accommodate 12 guests in 6 spacious luxury cabins. The Master cabin and VIP cabin are full beam and are situated on the main deck. The 4 guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. All cabins have en suite bathrooms. She also has accommodation for 11 experienced crew members.

In amongst the meticulous craftsmanship, notable state-of-the-art amenities include an outdoor deck jacuzzi, a gym, outdoor projector screen, a hydraulic swim platform, plus an exquisite wine cellar in the salon containing 120 bottles.

BG boasts a plethora of water toys to entertain guests of all ages. She offers 2x Yamaha jet skis, waterskis, inflatable climbing wall and waterslides, paddleboards, kneeboards and wakeboards, kayaks, snorkelling equipment, plus 4x F5 seabobs. She also has 2 tenders on board; a 9.8m Intrepid Tender and a 5.5m Novurania Tender.

BG was previously named Charade. She is Feadship’s 110th-largest yacht, and she is the 1181st-largest yacht in the world. In 2016 she was a finalist in The World Superyacht Awards for ‘best refitted/rebuilt yacht’. Not only that, but she is a TV star after appearing in several seasons of Below Deck where she was named Valor for the show.

BG stands for the owner's initials; Bobby Genovese, a Canadian self-made businessman. The entrepreneur is the founder of BG Capital Management Corporation, BG Signature, and BG Capital Group Ltd. Back in 2014, the motor yacht was purchased for 11,990,000 USD. Then in 2022, the motor yacht was for sale with an asking price of 16,900,000 USD. She has since arrived at the prestigious marina at Sentosa Cove, Singapore, where she moors outside the distinguished ONE°15 yacht club.

The Below Deck universe is one of the popular franchises on Bravo. Fans have been clamoring for the trailer for Below Deck Sailing Yacht following the major breakdown of Daisy Kelliher and Gary King ‘s short-lived romance last season. Now, it’s finally here, and the trailer teases everything viewers want — drama, romance, and breaking the rules with the guests.

As fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht know, each season of the show takes place in a different location. Now in its fifth season, the show is set in Ibiza. Season four of the show was set in Italy. This new season comes after Gary was accused of sexual assault.

The new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht seems like a good time based on the trailer, which comes exclusively from E! News . As it begins, Daisy can be heard saying, “Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight. The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I’m coming back in more focused, full of energy and I’m f–king good at my job. And I’m taking back the reigns.”

Of course, she is referencing her breakup with Gary. She then counters the previous statement by saying, “It’s gonna be a s–t show.”

The trailer then teases a bit of work-related drama as she says to Gary, “Guess what? We have a f–king job to do, and I’m not f–king carrying this season on my own, you f–king prick!”

Naturally, the season isn’t only about the failed romance between Daisy and Gary. The trailer also shows the crew getting a bit too friendly with the guests. Captain Glenn Shephard , who is clearly upset, can be seen reprimanding the crew after having too many drinks with the guests.

He says, “You guys went out with some guests, I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f–king rules, and now you’re here getting upset.”

This season also welcomes some new faces. There’s Chef Cloyce Martin , Chief Engineer Davide Morosi , Stew Diana Cruz , Stew Danni Warren , and Emma Crouch as the deckhand.

Fans can watch the premiere of season five of Below Deck Sailing Yacht on October 7.

Below Deck superyacht My Seanna Starship

Inside My Seanna, the star superyacht of Below Deck season nine

Related articles, superyacht directory.

As season nine of Below Deck gets underway we take a closer look at the superyacht hosting all of the action with an exclusive interview from her charter broker and Captain…

The latest season of superyacht charter TV show Below Deck may be full of colourful characters but there is one star that undoubtedly takes centre stage amidst the drama; charter superyacht Starship . Known as My Seanna during the filming but now renamed Starship following her recent multi-million sale , the 56.4 metre motor yacht was first delivered in 2000 by Seattle-based shipyard Delta Marine .

The GRP and aluminium yacht was built in just two years to a design by Glade Johnson with naval architecture by Doug Sharp . She has undergone a number of refits and upgrades since but remains instantly recognisable with her sleek, silvered hull.

Stepping inside, Starship offers accommodations for 12 guests and 11 crew. Cabins and interior spaces have been finished in a classic style with touches of opulence; richly coloured, dark wood panelling, soft furnishings in cream with gilded edges, ornate chandeliers and exquisite marble and gold features in the ensuites. A piano adds the finishing piece to the lavish saloon in which entertaining takes place and meals and drinks are hosted.

"A short but extensive refit was completed since her sale, to brighten and update the interiors, without sacrificing the opulence which makes this boat who she is," says her captain, Steve Feldman, who has been with Starship since 2003.

Starship has spent much of her life chasing the warmth, cruising through the Mediterranean during the summer months and heading back west over winter for stop-offs from Florida to Puerto Rico. She is currently based in The Bahamas and this season will be taking guests on island-hopping charters between Nassau, Eleuthera the Exumas and the Abacos. To ensure guests can fully soak up the sunshine, there are a multitude of deck spaces on board from al fresco lounges and an outdoor dining table to dedicated sunbathing areas.

A highlight is the sundeck Jacuzzi, surrounded by a cocktail bar, while down below the expansive beach club offers shaded lounge space, access to a sauna and gym, a flatscreen TV and a small galley for prepping drinks and snacks. There’s even an outdoor cinema for movie nights under the stars.

"The owner specifically purchased this yacht with chartering in the Bahamas in mind," details her charter manager at Worldwide Boat, Rod Lindor. "Ample exterior deck space, plenty of storage for toys and most importantly the shallow draft of 2.4 metres are all important elements that make Starship a great charter yacht."

However, on board spaces are not the only important element of a successful charter on Starship . To ensure all guests can make the most of their time on the water, the yacht also boasts a well-stocked toybox filled with towable inflatables, kayaks, trampolines, fishing gear, a beach party set up and gear for waterskiing or wakeboarding. Since the refit, Captain Feldman adds that the yacht offers an "enhanced toy inventory," now offering "four jet skis, four sea bobs, dive gear including a dive master and a 12 metre Intrepid tender outfitted for fishing and diving." For exploring the surrounding coastline or for making a smooth entry or exit, Starship is additionally equipped with a helipad.

"The beauty of Starship is the versatility to accommodate groups of all types; from families and corporate guests to an all adults trip," explains Lindor. "With a mixologist, personal trainer, tea sommelier, and divemaster on board, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy."

With so much on offer, Starship perfectly sets the scene for the action of Below Deck to take place while still offering the ultimate luxury experience for charter guests on board. Lindor attests that her star appearances on the show have been a positive for the yacht, which was already "a bit of a celebrity in the yachting industry" even before her involvement.

" Below Deck has been great overall for the charter industry, as it has brought chartering a yacht more mainstream. Overall the publicity has been beneficial," adds Lindor.

Starship is managed for charter by Worldwide Boat with a weekly charter rate starting from $260,000. Episodes of Below Deck season nine air on Bravo every Monday at 21:00 ET, or can be streamed via Peacock TV the next day.
