Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew having drinks

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Additionally, Peacock provides next-day streaming for its subscribers. In order to access episodes, would-be viewers will have to subscribe to Peacock Premium , which offers either a $4.99 ad-supported or $9.99 ad-free plan.

Viewers in the UK can watch episodes the day after they air using Hayu .

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season-Premiere Recap: Dream Team

Below deck sailing yacht.

below deck sailing yacht new episode

After decent seasons of  Below Deck ,  Mediterranean , and  Adventure , I’m beyond elated to have the superior  BD  spinoff,  Sailing Yacht , back in my life. In a sea of constantly fluctuating casts in the  BD  universe,  Sailing Yacht  has been a delightful constant, featuring what has become my absolute favorite group of wild yachties. The core four (Captain Glenn, chief stew Daisy, first mate Gary, and engineer Colin) have all returned for another season aboard the beloved  Parsifal III  as they sail around Sardinia, Italy. Colin puts it best: “ Parsifal  is always so entertaining. Get the popcorn out again!”

Speaking of the hottest man on the ship, Colin announces in a confessional that he is a “free man” with “nothing tying him down” anymore. After spending most of his time on the series in a relationship, Colin is now single. He seems eager to finally get a taste of the drama he has largely kept a distance from, and I’m incredibly excited to see how it’ll play out. Meanwhile, Daisy contemplates her life and tells us that she expected to be married with two kids at this point but is instead “still serving a bunch of assholes.” She’s in her Hannah Ferrier era! Regardless, she’s still looking forward to being back on  Parsifal . “I hope to bring the same motto I bring every season: My way is best,” she says with a smile. Oh, how I’ve missed her!

Before diving into this premiere’s events, let’s discuss the fresh faces rounding out the team. In the interior, Lucy says she is a very “unlucky” and “clumsy” person, as seen in a montage of various times she accidentally hurts herself on the boat. Daisy’s other stew is Madison, who confesses that she “wouldn’t be opposed to screwing the crew” and doesn’t have “high standards,” meaning there’s a 110 percent chance of her hooking up with Gary. Mads also tells us that despite people assuming she’s a bitch based on her looks (blonde), she’s actually a “ray of fucking sunshine.” Her delivery of this, plus her later comment about how it’s fine to be mean as long as it comes across as a joke, fails to convince me.

On deck, we have Chase, who hails from South Carolina and describes himself as being “extra,” which I’m hoping isn’t code for being a dick. The season teaser shows some tension between him and Gary, so I feel he might not make it to the end. But I hope my assumptions are proven wrong. There’s also deckhand Alex, who captains a boat in Miami, is very hot (bless Bravo for including a slideshow of additional photographic evidence), and says he is “socially charged” and “empathetic.”

Finding and being able to hold onto a fantastic chef has been a tough task to accomplish throughout  BD ’s history. After last season’s phenomenal chef Marcos, it has some massive shoes to fill. So far, Australian chef Ileisha, a self-described “perfectionist” with 16 years of experience, has impressed in the galley. Overall, I really like this ensemble so far. They seem to know what they’re doing and haven’t pissed anyone off yet, which might be a  Below Deck  first.

As the crew settles in, Captain Glenn reveals that COVID-19 continues to strike as Gary has tested positive and will tragically end up missing the charter. In the meantime, Colin is tasked with filling in as chief officer to help Alex and Chase get acquainted with the  Parsifal . In order to spare herself from repeating last year’s drama, Daisy informs Lucy and Mads that it’s best if they’re both Junior stews. It’s a fantastic idea, but I’m hoping for some stew drama anyway.

As provisions come in and the crew gets the boat prepped for charter, Colin notices something wrong with the engine because it would be  too easy  for things to go smoothly for once. The first charter sets the tone for the season, and it has already gone sideways merely hours into the first day. Despite their best efforts, Captain Glenn and Colin determine that the boat won’t be able to leave the dock, so the pressure falls onto Daisy and the interior to give the guests an experience that isn’t entirely shitty. And to make matters worse, the next day, Colin discovers a malfunction in the aftercooler that caused water to enter the engine.

At the preference sheet meeting, we meet our first guests: The primary is Stephanie Seutter, a Texan working in sales who is having a girl’s trip with seven of her friends. Given the myriad of problems the crew already has to deal with, I’m glad they don’t also have to deal with a lengthy list of restrictions and demands. They ask for a local Sardinian dinner followed by an EDM party for the first night. On the second day, they want to spend time on the beach and have a steak and seafood dinner with truffles on everything, which rightfully gets a disgusted reaction from Daisy.

Daisy is already impressed with her stews for taking the initiative, and I am too. They know how to get shit done, so here’s hoping they don’t start slacking. “Confident stews, my dream has come true!” she exclaims. After everyone finishes working, they gather on deck to drink beer and rest up. Chase asks if anyone is missing someone from home, to which Daisy responds, “I haven’t missed someone since 1999.” The discussion naturally leads to relationship statuses, where we learn that everyone is single — a win for us because it means chaos will ensue — save for Ileisha, who recently rekindled her romance with an ex-boyfriend from four years prior. Before heading to bed, the boys check in on Colin in the engine room to help out. Dudes rock!

In the crew mess the next morning, Daisy mentions how Gary usually got his coffee, and Ileisha teases her by saying, “you miss him!” Daisy thinks it feels weird for him not to be there, and I agree. Gary’s absence has caused a vibe shift on the boat. Thirty minutes before the charter, the crew changes into their uniforms and prepares to head out on deck for greetings. As the guests strut down the dock, Ileisha is still getting ready in her cabin as Daisy rushes down to inform her to hurry. This sequence had me stressed!! Earlier, the two had a chat about the importance of communication and teamwork, so I hope her poor time management isn’t an issue.

Since the guests are stuck at the dock, Daisy plans to “keep their glasses topped up, their stomachs full, and their memories short.” Words to live by! After welcoming Stephanie & Co., Captain Glenn breaks the bad news but tries to soften the blow by assuring them that other activities are available. They handle it well — it’s not like they have a choice — but their annoyance grows more apparent as they get settled on the boat and enjoy espresso martinis and Ileisha’s mac-and-cheese truffle arancini balls and rib-eye with horseradish-cream canapés.

Captain Glenn suggests that the guests go out on the tender, and they agree because it’s really the only thing to do. Daisy recommends that Alex accompany them because he’s “hot and the guests will love that eye candy.” So true, Daisy. Alex is excited since “day charters with drunk guests is [his] specialty,” adding that his approach is to pump them “full of Tito’s.” Keeping the drinks flowing does the job because they’re already hammered by the time they make it onto the tender. Their afternoon playing around on the water toys and getting drunk is a success. I initially assumed that the guests would be high-maintenance, but so far, they’ve been quite fun and low-key.

After the crew changes into their blacks for the evening, Alex, Chase, and Lucy decorate the flybridge with balloons and glow sticks for what Lucy calls a “tacky” EDM party. True, but there are far worse themes they could have requested. Chase says the half-assed decor “looks like a seven-year-old’s birthday party,” which I imagine would look significantly better. Nothing about this set-up screams EDM, but the guests have fun, and I suppose that’s what matters most.

For dinner, Ileisha presents a family-style feast of fresh local oysters, shrimp, and lobster ravioli with truffle, asparagus with Parmesan, and beef filet with roasted garlic purée. The guests think the food is a “home run,” and they’re so wasted that one guest named Mary Lynn falls out of her chair twice. After the guests change into their party attire and the crew puts on paint and face jewels, they make their way up to the party, where Chase gives one guest a lap dance and Mary Lynn paints Alex’s knee to prove to her sister that she is artistic. Anything for the tip, right?

As if they hadn’t just spent the previous day drinking nonstop, the guests are up early the next morning asking Daisy for some mimosas. “I just need an IV of Champagne,” a guest named Karen says. Meanwhile, Colin has spent the entire charter stuck in the engine room, and because the problems have escalated beyond his ability to fix them alone, Captain Glenn brings in more engineers to check it out.

The episode ends with the reveal that it will take a whopping 15 days to fix the engine, but as Captain Glenn says at the start of the episode,  Parsifal  “has never let me down.” The season preview promises us several guest injuries, lots of crew makeout sessions, another intense engine issue, and — most importantly — a Daisy/Gary/Colin love triangle. Based on the hype the producers are putting on this dynamic, I have severely high expectations.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht schedule change: Here’s how final Season 4 episodes will air on Bravo

Gary and Lucy on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 has officially entered the back half of the season.

The current season of the sailing show has not disappointed, and the best is yet to come.

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, fans had a lot to say regarding the news Gary King and Daisy Kelliher had sex.

It turns out there’s even more exciting news from Bravo and the remainder of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4.

The network has a schedule change for the Below Deck spin-off, but it’s all good.

When will Below Deck Sailing Yacht air on Bravo?

Monday nights have long been dedicated to Below Deck, with Bravo continuously having new episodes all year.

There are a couple of exceptions to this. Below Deck Adventure Season 1 aired on Tuesday nights, as did Below Deck Down Under Season 1 after it wrapped its run on Peacock.

With the news that Below Deck Down Under was moving to Bravo for Season 2, questions came up about how the network would add another spin-off.

Bravo answered that question with a schedule change for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4. Starting Monday, June 12, the network will air back-to-back new episodes of the sailing show for the remained of the season.

Yes, that means double the drama with the Parsifal III crew, which is great news. The bad news is that the season will come to an end much sooner.

Below Deck Down Under Season 2 will follow the same double-episode format on Monday nights when it premieres in July.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chase Lemacks (@chase_lemacks)

Is this the new Below Deck format on Bravo?

The fact that Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Below Deck Down Under are airing back-to-back episodes brings up the question if this is the new format for all Below Deck shows.

In May, it was revealed that Below Deck Season 11 and Below Deck Med Season 8 were also hitting Bravo airwaves this year. That makes four, five if Below Deck Adventure comes back, Below Deck shows to air before 2024.

Based on that, there’s a good chance that the double-up episodes will be the schedule for those two, so all Below Deck shows can air on Bravo on Monday nights.

After all, the only other show that tends to air on Monday nights is Summer House, which just finished Season 7.

Only time will tell what Bravo really has in store for the Below Deck franchise. However, right now, Below Deck Sailing Yacht is getting two new episodes every Monday to wind down Season 4.

Speaking of the end of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, we have some news about the reunion, and you can check it out here.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

What Are the Below Deck Season 1 Cast Doing Now?

By Amy DeVore

Cast of Below Deck Season 1.

Below Deck  first set sail on Bravo in July 2013. It was a hit, and this series quickly blew up, with spin-offs emerging left and right. Or should I say port side and starboard? All yoke lines aside, inaugural seasons typically carry steep learning curves, but wildly, this first group of stars (mostly) handled their sh*t with ease. Let’s now do a roll call and check in on these series-introducing yachties.

Captain Lee Rosbach set sail on Oxygen

Captain Lee Rosbach , AKA the Stud of the Seas, kicked this entire franchise off. Therefore, I will always toss some respect on his name. He led from Below Deck’s wheelhouse until the end of Season 10, and then Bravo pulled his plug, replacing him with Captain Kerry Titheradge from Below Deck Adventure . Thankfully, this sassy Captain found his new home shortly after.

Reality television and true crime series are excellent forms of escapism. I am not alone in my avoidance pursuits, as Oxygen created an entire series with these two things in mind, and they brought Bravo’s first-ever Captain along for the ride. Cue Deadly Waters with Captain Lee , a series that sails through more sinister ports of call than BD. Each episode sees Captain Lee walking through various true crime stories, each taking place over a different body of water.

If you miss this witty wheelhouse wonder, head over to Oxygen and catch up with Captain Lee and his factually deceased seafarers (not his formerly figuratively dead-to-him hires) now.

Aleks Taldykin moved on to Vanderpump Rules, the sales side of yachting, and fatherhood

Aleks Taldykin from Below Deck Season 1 is a dad!

Fun fact. Aleks Taldykin was originally in the mix for the Captain’s role on Below Deck. After the network handed this gig over to Captain Lee, Aleks got cast in an equally important role, walking on board as the first First Officer for this series. Sadly, he only lasted one season.

When one door closes, another one opens, literally, for Aleks. In Season 4 of Vanderpump Rules , Stassi Schroeder opened Kristen Doute’s door, and there stood Aleks. He and Kristen had a small fling in 2016, three years after his stint on Below Deck. It didn’t work out, but it was nice to see Kristen putting herself out there again following her breakup with James Kennedy .

These days, Aleks is still in the yachting industry, although he now works primarily on land. Before he joined BD, Aleks started Elite Yacht Management in Southern California, so he already had a gig to return home to post filming. In 2019, he added another job to his resume via Denison Yachting, selling large motor yachts to everyone but me. As for his personal life, Aleks became a father earlier this year, so we can now consider his life officially busy.

Adrienne Gang made a brief cameo in Season 2 and then returned to her culinary roots

Adrienne Gang from Below Deck Season 1.

Adrienne Gang is the first Chief Stew in the Below Deck franchise. Her tough-as-nails work ethic didn’t always find her fellow yachties well, so she only lasted one season on Bravo. Much to the non-delight of her Season 1 stew, Kat Held , Adrienne made a brief cameo in Season 2. The charter guests were her friends, so she joined them on a land-based excursion while Kat (mostly) reigned her emotions in.

Following this cameo, Adrienne secured herself an impressive gig, working as the culinary director of Blue Oceans Yachting. She was a chef before Below Deck, so this makes sense. Additionally, Adrienne works as a private chef, with a few speaking gigs on the side.

Adrienne has also taken a few leaps post-filming that have failed to stick. In 2018, she got married. In 2021, she started a podcast called Gangplank Report. Unfortunately, her marriage ended sometime between 2023 and 2024, joining her equally defunct podcast around that same timeframe.

Good on you for trying new things post-filming for Season 1 of Below Deck, Adrienne.

Kat Held found other bars and gemstones

Kat Held now holds crystals.

Kat worked as a stew in Season 1. Her carefree personality and love of a good time saw her returning for Season 2. However, these two seasons would be her only ones on Bravo. That said, she did return to film a BD 100th-episode special on Watch What Happens Live in 2020.

Best known for her drunken “I wanna go to the bar” cries, Kat has since exited the yachting industry. She has tried her hand as a waitress and a bartender, but these gigs must have grown old, as Kat is now all about that gem life. In 2022, Kate created a new Instagram account. Her latest venture is under the handle of @thelapidaryshop , where Kat describes herself as an “Archeology & Gemology Enthusiast.”

Kat is now a “Collector, seller, and buyer of gemstones, crystals, rocks, minerals, fossils, and jewelry.” Rock on, Kat.

Samantha Orme is an Engineer and a mother

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Samantha Ulmer (@samiorme)

Samantha Orme was a fan-favorite stew in Season 1, but she made the call not to return to filming in Season 2. She wanted a different life and a different life she now has. Work-wise, Sam stepped off the pier and entered into a Vice President of Engineering role at a solar energy firm. Now, she is the Enterprise Program Manager at Fidelity National Information Services, according to her LinkedIn .

Her bossiest coworkers, however, are likely her husband Brad, a Coast Guard helicopter pilot, and their two little girls, Blake and Molly. I have a Molly as well. Sam and I also share our current locations, which I will only describe as a beachy, sleepy little pocket just North of Tampa, bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Call me, Sam.

Eddie Lucas is now a tugboat captain

Eddie Lucas stole the show in Below Deck Season 1, so the network brought him back for Seasons 2, 3, 8, and 9. That said, the chances of seeing Eddie again on our screens are slim, as after filming on Season 9, Eddie trash-talked Bravo for their abysmal Below Deck paychecks . I can’t blame the guy for this, because have you seen the price of snacks these days?!

Eddie has since pivoted away from the superyacht industry, yet he’s still working on boats because “Eduardo loves the ladies ” water. His current boats, however, are Tugboats, and he’s now a captain. This title took him several years to secure, but Eddie never gave up, and I am sure this made his boat Daddy (Captain Lee) proud. Eddie recently even purchased a home in Baltimore, so it’s safe to say that he has fully settled into his next chapter of life post-filming.

David Bradberry is an actor and a writer

David Bradberry from Below Deck Season 1 is now an actor and writer.

David Bradberry was a precious, innocent deckhand. He engaged in little-to-no conflict throughout his entire first season, and everyone from the cast to the viewers loved watching his various unproblematic scenes. He even got engaged to his then-boyfriend during the show, but sadly, in 2019, this romance fizzled out. David also returned to Below Deck at the tail end of Season 3, rounding out a shortly-staffed crew.

Since leaving Below Deck, David traded in his epaulets and started perfecting his stage face. He is now living the dream, working as an actor and a writer in our nation’s capital. His IMDb page credits a few of his new roles, including “The Last Straight Man” (2014) and “Confessions” (2015). All the world’s a stage, and David is a solid player.

C.J. LeBeau owns a home improvement company

C.J. LaBleau now owns a home improvement company.

CJ LeBeau and Sam were tight in Season 1, but unlike Sam, CJ only lasted for nine episodes of Below Deck’s inaugural season. After taking a boozy swim with Sam during a charter, Captain Lee, who was already weary of the guy, talked him into leaving. He joined another boat at the marina, and following this, he stayed away from the limelight.

Minus an arrest for Domestic Violence, which we hope taught him many things, CJ returned to the world of construction, which he first started gaining experience in at the ripe old age of 12. Now, he owns his own company, Done Today by CJ. According to his website , he does everything from property repairs to plumbing, ever the well-rounded tradesman. Keep making good choices, deckie alum.

Chef Ben Robinson is still in the galley, just not on Below Deck, for now

Chef Ben Robinson has my heart for life. After charming everyone with his quick wit in BD Season 1, Bravo brought him back multiple times, including a few stints on Below Deck Mediterranean . This man can cook, clap back, and call out his fellow yachties like a true king. He is made for this realm.

According to his website , Ben now “runs a successful catering business.” This sees him traveling “all over the world creating culinary masterpieces. He is available for private events, private instruction, and guest appearances.” His website also links to his purchasable wares and tools, all sold to help inspire the inner chefs in us all.

On that note, It’s time for me to run along and burn tonight’s dinner. Chef Ben, send help. Also, send yourself back to Below Deck.

What Are the Below Deck Season 1 Cast Doing Now?

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Below deck mediterranean season 9 shows captain sandy’s selfish side (she’s inconsiderate), below deck mediterranean: chef johnathan needs to face consequences for near fatal accident (can he fix his damaged reputation).

  • Gael Cameron joined Below Deck Med with a boyfriend off the yacht.
  • Gael introduced herself with a boyfriend at the beginning of the season.
  • Gael & her ex broke up in the middle of the charter season.

Gael Cameron joined Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 with a boyfriend, and there have been rumors that he was a fellow franchise alum. The ninth season of the Mediterranean-based reality yachting show spotlighted Aesha Scott’s return after she starred in Below Deck Down Under for two seasons. Alongside Captain Sandy Yawn, the Chief Stew has revamped the show after last season was a letdown. Below Deck Med season 9 hasn’t been smooth sailing, though the new crew has charmed viewers with their entertaining personalities and dramatic moments.

The love triangle between Bri Muller, Elena “Ellie” Dubaich, and Joe Bradley created many conflicts during the charter season. Aesha juggled discourse between the interior team because of their season-long feud, though more drama may emerge when late arrival and new stew Carrie O’Neill joins the crew and seemingly hooks up with the lead deckhand. Nonetheless, Gael’s emerging boatmance with Nathan Gallagher also kept the audience on their toes. At the top of the charter season, she had a boyfriend at home that some have speculated has appeared on a Below Deck spin-off.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Gael Joined Below Deck Med Season 9 With A Boyfriend Off The Yacht

Gael had a boyfriend at home at the beginning of season 9.

At the top of the season, Gael introduced herself as a new member of the deck team. Her co-workers were immediately captivated by her beauty, with Nathan vocalizing how attracted he was to the deckhand. However, she quickly revealed she had a boyfriend at the time. She explained they had worked together before and struggled with distance in their relationship that emerges in the yachting industry. As the season progressed, Gael began navigating fights with her boyfriend over their lack of communication . She also started to form a bond with Nathan while they worked together.

Gael & Her Ex Broke Up In The Middle Of The Charter Season

They broke up for numerous reasons.

By the middle of the Below Deck Med season 9 charter season, they decided to call off their relationship. During a dinner with the crew, Gael and her ex broke up over text. He seemingly couldn’t navigate her being far away, working busy days with little time to chat among themselves on the superyacht. Gael admitted in a clip from the Below Deck Med After Show on Bravo ’s YouTube that her ex-boyfriend told her if she left the boat they were working on they would break up, but that he changed his mind at the last minute and said they could “ make it work .”

“Coming on this boat and realizing that he couldn't hold it out for two weeks, let alone six ... I was like, ‘Please just hold out for me. Please be patient with me. Please understand that I can't be on my phone all the time.’”

Having worked in the same industry, Gael wished her ex understood she couldn’t spend a lot of time on the phone with him. Aesha corroborated her concerns, noting there were minimal moments where she had heartfelt conversations with her now-fiance, Scott Dobson. Gael also revealed there had been instances of infidelity on her ex's side in the past, where she saw him messaging someone else after looking through his phone. Ultimately, their relationship wasn’t in the best place when she joined the Below Deck Med season 9 crew , and he couldn't understand why she had to prioritize work.

Despite Speculation, Culver Isn’t Gael’s Ex-Boyfriend

Some fans thought gael dated culver from below deck down under.

There was speculation that Gael’s ex-boyfriend was none other than Culver Bradbury from Below Deck Down Under seasons 1 and 2. Reddit user @Top-Average-8760 posted a thread about the rumor, asking if any other Below Deck fans had heard about the rumor. Most users refuted the claims, pointing out that the show would have highlighted their relationship and “ the producers would have made her FaceTime him if it was.” Plenty of franchise alums have dated one another, and the show has typically always pointed out their relationships.

Most recently, stew Paris Field joined the cast of Below Deck season 11, and Fraser Olender immediately called out her former relationship with deckhand Jake Foulger . Notably, Culver is still on great terms with his Below Deck Down Under co-star Aesha, as the duo recently posed for a selfie on his Instagram in May. The Chief Stew has been vocal in her distaste toward Gael’s ex, and she likely wouldn’t be hanging out with Culver if he was her mystery boyfriend from Below Deck Med season 9.

While there were rumors that Culver from Below Deck Down Under was Gael’s boyfriend while she was on Below Deck Mediterranean , these claims have been put to rest. The production team would have highlighted their relationship in some form or fashion if they were dating while she was filming. It’s unclear who Gael dated during her time on the show, but it wasn’t Culver.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

On the heels of BravoCon in Las Vegas this weekend, Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member Gary King posted a message on Instagram alluding to the sexual misconduct allegations against him published in a Rolling Stone investigation , saying he was “canceled because of a lie.” He also said in the comments that he won’t be attending BravoCon.

“It’s sad that people will do anything in their power to bring you down. It’s not about how you fall but how you get up,” King wrote. “Luckily for me the fall was into a sea of daisies.” King then wrote a series of hashtags, including: “#iwascancelledbecauseofalie #anythingforaplatform #dontbelieveeverythingyousee #bullshitmedia #ivegotmyheadheldhigh #flowers #wakeupandsmelltheroses #worldisanuglyplace #iwouldneverdothat #belowdeck #belowdecksailing #onwardsandupwards.”

Representatives for Bravo declined to comment.

Then on August 24, Rolling Stone published a story about how members of Below Deck Sailing Yacht production said they experienced and witnessed sexual harassment and misconduct from King behind the scenes. Samantha Suarez, who worked in the makeup department of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season Four and also assisted the talent manager with day-to-day tasks, said King tried to force himself on her during production. In emails reviewed by Rolling Stone , Suarez detailed the incident to producers as well as an HR representative for Banijay America, the parent company of 51 Minds Entertainment, which produces the Emmy-nominated reality series.
