Not sure what the bad reviews are about. My item was shipped prompt, arrived not damaged with a tracking number. I would order from Deep Blue again.

I ordered a new prop for my outboard last Tuesday night (7-11). I got the confirmation email, but never saw a tracking number update. Yesterday (7-18) I called looking for an update and to see if it had shipped yet. Dan picked up my call and did a little research for me. Within an hour I had my tracking number and a follow up email letting me know that I'd receive my prop that night. The prop fit perfectly and I can't wait to get back on the water this weekend. Thanks Dan!

What a mistake. I ordered 8 cleats. No shipping information even after a couple email inquiries. Then only 4 show up. Again crickets on email. So I call and am informed the other 4 are back-ordered. Crickets again. Strongly advice against dealing with this company as an online provider.

I wish I had checked Yelp* before ordering from this company. We spun our prop and didn't have a backup. I called to find out which was the better brand (Solas or Michigan) and was told Solas. We asked why and got a short, curt response, "Because it is." We were also told that it would ship the next day because it was 10 minutes after the 2:00 cutoff and that we would have to order online. Mike was just rude. Strike one. So I placed the order online, received an order confirmation via email and my card was charged. We selected 2-day shipping so that we could have the prop for the weekend. This was Wednesday. Saturday, no prop showed up, so I went online to check the shipping status...prop not shipped. Strike two. So I called, and got the "Monday through Friday hours" recording. I sent an email and was told that this prop is on backorder and it would be two to three weeks before they have more. Not only was the prop showing in stock when I ordered, but we had verbal confirmation that it would ship the next day. Yet it did not, and we did not have any notification that the part would be delayed almost a month. STRIKE THREE! So I requested a refund, per their written policy on their website...which, by the way, said that if a part was backordered that they would notify me immediately by phone or email (they did not). I was told to, "Please allow 7-14 days for the refund to be reflected in your account." Funny, it didn't take 24 hours for them to CHARGE my card for a part that they didn't have, even though it was the only thing on the order. Buyer beware. There are other dealers out there, some with better pricing. Stay away. I don't usually leave negative reviews, as I prefer to take it up with the company and give them a chance to make it right. But in this case it is warranted.

So yes you guys concur that you'd rather lose a customer over 13 dollars. And as I stated and you misstated, 13 dollars isn't losing money.

My emails with the owner

Misinformation, bad attitude. Was told 1-2 weeks to get a prop not in stock. After not receiving anything at 2.5 weeks I called. Treated very rudely by Mike, he would not contact ACME to check status, told me it would be coming that week. I asked Mike to ship prop puller immediately since it was in stock. At 3.5 weeks called again for status. Mike said he would contact ACME. He said puller shipped but not on Tuesday as promised, but 3 days later on Friday. He did not provide the tracking number that I asked for. I called back asking for the tracking number. He sent me information indicating it shipped UPS today, not last Friday as he said a few hours ago. Still no tracking number. When I asked for the tracking number again he sent me a USPS tracking number, not UPS as his confirmation 1 hour ago stated, and the USPS site states no label has been printed. He rudely told me he would cancel my entire order because he doesn't like 15 calls. Hard to believe this type of service can continue. Absolutely a BUYER BEWARE business. Wish I had read the many negative reviews on Mike and this company before I wasted 3 1/2 weeks.

Fast and quick shipping! I ordered a new prop, spare and some bearings with no problems at all. I wasn't sure on the fit so a quick call to customer service got me the right part.

If I could give no stars I would. Paid for two day slightly expedited shipping on a Monday to make sure I got it for the weekend as I was on vacation and it turns into a full week. These are available anywhere but I thought I'd support a small business. Shame on me. The customer service rep was rude, and condescending, and of no help whatsoever. These are a one and done company. They have no desire to support the customer, or are even smart enough to think of anything other than the one time money grab they perform, in exchange for building relationships. Go Amazon. They are horrible people.

8/28/2020 Stephen from Marlborough, MA placed his order on 7/6 and it shipped 7/7 ($11.92 paid for USPS) - unfortunately USPS is experiencing delays during the COVID-19 pandemic and it took six days to arrive

Purchased a Solas Prop from them - after many emails back and forth with Mike Heller - was told I was crazy because i went from Aluminum Prop to stainless steel - same diameter and pitch and my engine was hitting rev limiter at 3/4 throttle - not functioning properly ! Unwilling to return prop and offered me 10% off next purchase. After considerable research - I identified that I needed Thrust Washer for this prop - was never told this and Mike Heller nor was never offered this as a solution - Save yourself the headache - they have ZERO customer service with a mind set that customer is wrong - coupled with poor knowledge makes this a bad match

Horrible company! Ordered a propeller that did not perform as advertised. Was told by the ruded representative it was not returnable and to stick it.

Once an Outboard Propeller is used in the water, the propeller is no longer returnable for credit or exchange, unless the propeller was incorrectly sized by Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc representative based on accurate information in regards to engine and boat use. Stainless Shafts are cut and machined to order, as such, once a shaft is manufactured, we do not allow any returns and/or exchange.  Please double check all measurements prior to submitting an order. The original manufacturer warrants defective products. Deep Blue Yacht Supply does not imply or express any guarantee an/or warranty other than provided by the manufacturer.  All claims for credit, shortages and/or damages must be placed within ten days of receipt of merchandise.  In the event of mispackaging of products or shortages in shipping, Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc will correct the shipment in a timely manner and pay all shipping costs associated with making corrections to shipments as needed.  Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc is not responsible for any lay days that could occur in the event of mispackaging. All returned merchandise is subject to a minimum restocking fee of 15%.  All returned merchandise must be received by Deep Blue Yacht Supply within 60 days of purchase. Our Propeller Guides are informational only.  It is the responible of the buyer to confirm the correct propeller choice with existing propeller specifications. All returns must accompany the RGA# given by sales manager. Any returns sent without an RGA# will be sent back at the customer's expense. Any refund or credit for exchange will be based on the value of the merchandise at the time of purchase. Shipping and Handling fees are not subject to refund unless the merchandise is defective or we shipped an incorrect item.  The internal paperwork for credit/exchange is normally completed within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of merchandise. All refunds are applied to the individual customer account unless otherwise specified by Sales Manager or Accounting Department.  Any form of reimbursement is consistent with the original method of payment.  For Solas Propeller purchases, Solas states that all warranty claims must be shipped back to distributor and will be inspected by Solas in Tampa FL for inspection. Solas will not pay for any shipping in a warranty claim. Solas will only cover the propeller due to manufactures defect for a period of 1 year.
