Food has always been at the heart of a great time here in here in Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom is more than delivering by adding tonnes of brand-new international venues throughout the local dining scenes. Perfectly and positively pink, this famed and well-loved cafe is opening its doors on the Jeddah Yacht Club shores. It’s no secret that the brand is opening at the Yacht Club thanks to their iconic signage and hoarding. While we don’t know exactly when it plans to open, we can tell you it will be stunning once it does.

Obo Beach House

Say bonjour to Le Comptoir de Nicole. All the way from the Côte d’Azur, the chic French bistro is set to fit right into the vibrant dining scene at the yacht club. The menu is an ode to Mediterranean cuisine with dishes including onion pissaladière, niçoise salad, and tuna carpaccio followed by a selection of perfectly prepared meats, fish, and pasta. Mashi No Mashi

Get ready to ‘slurp like a boss’…Renowned Japanese wagyu ramen restaurant Mashi No Mashi will also be joining the scene. The cool eatery is brought to you by chef and wagyu master Hisato Hamada and promises the ultimate wagyu ramen and wagy gyoza bar experience right in the heart of Jeddah. Great day! Can't wait to go back. I rented a boat to take my son and his friends tubing for the first time (5-10 years old). The kids had a blast. Our captain was very friendly and amazing with them (like a camp counselor- which us parents appreciated). He pulled the younger ones at a slower pace and kicked it up a notch for the moms and older ones. From booking to departure, the experience was seamless. We're looking forward to booking again for a nice relaxing adults only boat :)

Not a good place. Joe the owner like used car salesman. This is not boating. This is having a very nice captain (but with sketchy coast guard details) who moves for 10 or 15 mins to an open bay and then basically u sit there for 2 hours. They advertised certain equipment to be onboard but never appeared. Finally i asked if we could drive a but and he reluctantly did. But dont expect much fun for 4500 plus 20 percent tip. Guess joe tells them not to use any gas. Go elsewhere.

Start to finish my experience with this company was nothing short of AMAZING!!!!! 5 star VIP treatment, from the customer service rep that helped me select a boat to the boat captain who drove us. My family and I were treated like royalty. Chartered a boat for 4 hours for my mothers 65th birthday, my parents aren't boat people but convinced them to go along. After our outing with Yacht Hampton I'm happy to share my parents are now boat people! I can't say enough about how amazing the owner Joe was. My father is disabled after suffering multiple strokes which has severely impaired his mobility. Joe the owner went out of his way to prepare a pick up for my father which allowed us to take him out on the boat as well, the captain Michael was an awesome guy as well, you could say he literally carried my father on his back to help get him on the boat! We brought a cooler with food and drinks, anchored in a cove where we ate, drank, swam and relaxed. Ended the charter with an hour of tubing which was super fun! The only place to charter a boat in the Hamptons in my opinion. Well maintained fleet of late model vessels with professional licensed captains and amazing customer service. What I'm most impressed with and taken back by is the effort and follow up the owner and staff put into making sure my handicapped father was able to join us for my mother's birthday boat outing.

We rented a boat from Yacht Hampton a few weeks in advance for my sisters bachelorette party. When we arrived at the dock we received a call that the boat we rented was broken and they couldn't fix it in time. They offered us a smaller boat and a partial refund to which we agreed. When that boat was supposed to arrive they called again and said that boat wasn't available either and that we were basically out of luck. If it wasn't for one of our bridesmaids who pushed heavily for a solution, they would have left us hanging. They ended up being able to get us an upgraded yacht later in the day for no additional charge that was beautiful, but we had to rearrange our whole day to make that happen, and I believe that without the bridesmaid who pushed them to make something happen for us, they would have left us without a boat and ultimately a ruined bachelorette party. Although they solved our problem, they made our morning incredibly stressful and I likely would never book with them again.

Preliminary Regatta of 37th America's Cup

With the Red Sea's stunning coastline, and its strategic location between the Mediterranean and Asia, Jeddah Yacht Club is positioned as a superb superyacht destination.  Jeddah Yact Club is also due to host the second Preliminary Regatta of 37th America's Cup, which is one of the most prestigious competitons in international sailing. 

The event is in partnership with the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Sailing Federation who have significant ambitions for the rapid growth of sailing in Saudi Arabia across many top-level sailing events and classes as part of its Vision 2030 ambitions. 

Saudi Sailing Federation

The Saudi Sailing Federation is the national governing body for the sport and is dedicated to developing and promoting sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wingfoiling throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  They are striving to make sailing accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or ability.  The Federation also aims to increase participation and elevate the standards of sailing within the country.

The biggest speech of Kamala Harris’s life

Vice President Kamala Harris ceremonially accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president last night, issuing a call for unity and a warning that Donald Trump is an “unserious man” whose return to the White House could have devastating consequences for the U.S. Here’s the latest .

“With this election, our nation has a precious, fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness, cynicism and divisive battles of the past,” she said. And she warned, of Trump: “Consider the power he will have — especially after the United States Supreme Court just ruled he would be immune from criminal prosecution.”

Harris also devoted time to her personal biography, explaining that she was driven to be a prosecutor to protect people like a high school friend who had confided to her that she was being sexually assaulted by her stepfather.

The speech culminated Harris’s swift ascent to the top of the Democratic ticket — and kicks off what will surely be a furious 74-day sprint to Election Day.

Trump visits Arizona: Trump traveled to the southwestern border to highlight immigration, an issue Republicans believe will give them an edge in November. Talking about the 2020 election results, he seemed to actually acknowledge his defeat. “I got many millions more votes than I got the first time, but didn’t quite make it — just a little bit short,” he said.

Trump appears preoccupied with Harris’s looks . “I’m a better-looking person than Kamala,” he said this week.

Harris’s tax plan would aim for $5 trillion in increases over the next decade, drawn from the wealthiest Americans and corporations .

Trump spoke glowingly of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. amid reports that Kennedy would end his troubled campaign and was considering endorsing the former president.

German support for Ukraine comes under strain

Amid severe clashes over the budget and increasing evidence that Ukraine was behind the blowing up of natural gas pipelines between Russia and Germany, the German government has come under increasing pressure at home to roll back its support for Ukraine and push harder for negotiations to try to end its war with Russia.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz has insisted that Berlin will not diminish its aid and will remain, as he said in Moldova this week, “Ukraine’s biggest national supporter in Europe.” But his three-party coalition government is increasingly unpopular and facing critical state elections in September, with pressure from both the left and the right.

The primary burden on the government, which can seem paralyzed in making major financial decisions, is the constitutional requirement to keep new budget debt to no more than 0.35 percent of G.D.P. Tech entrepreneur’s body found after yacht sinking

The body of the British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch was among those recovered by Italian divers off the Sicilian coast, an official said, confirming that he was killed when a violent storm struck his yacht this week. Of the 22 people on board, nine crew members and six passengers survived.

As of yesterday afternoon, Italian recovery teams had retrieved the bodies of the one remaining crew member and five passengers who had been on the yacht. They were still searching for Lynch’s daughter Hannah.
