Description.

Moonraker is a 36m motor yacht originally built in 1992 by Norship. This iconic vessel has undergone a makeover in 2021, with a full paint job and refit.

The aft deck dining area is a real highlight of the yacht. It is a great space to spend hours at the table, with full shade, and even air conditioning ducts sending cool air into the exterior dining space. It is unusual to have a carpeted deck instead of teak, but it works fine. Built to be lightweight for speed, the yacht has therefore several ‘weight saving’ quirky features and the choice of carpet over teak is one of them. The upper deck boasts a bar and jacuzzi, and plenty of space to relax.

Inside, the salon is spacious and bright, and a great place for family and friends to relax. It is a proper bar! The yacht has a smart design, with the galley area open to the guests, and a family breakfast-room set up. Guests can sit at the bar and enjoy interacting with the chef while he makes some delicacies. The full-beam master cabin, particularly spacious for a yacht of this size, features a large walk-in closet space and a study area. The two VIP cabins forward are very comfortable, and there is also a single cabin with en-suite facilities.

With her recent refit and maintenance period and first-class crew, this luxurious yacht represents excellent value for money and will take you on an outstanding yachting adventure this summer.

This iconic yacht has been lavished with a makeover in 2021, with a full paint job and refit.

She represents outstanding value for money in this debut year back on the charter market after her exterior refit.

To have a 36m yacht with 6 crew for €5,000 per day is exceptional. She also has the Spanish charter license, and a Captain who knows the Balearics intimately.

The aft deck dining area is a real strong point of the yacht. It is a great space to spend hours at the table, with full shade, and even air conditioning ducts sending cool air into the exterior dining space. It is unusual to have a carpeted deck, instead of teak, but it works fine. The yacht was built to be lightweight for speed, so there are a number of quirky features that are 'weight saving' and the choice of carpet over teak is one of them.

The upper deck has a bar and Jacuzzi, and plenty of space to relax.

Inside the saloon is spacious and bright, and a great place for family and friends to relax. It is a proper bar! The yacht has an intelligent design, with the galley area open to the guests, and a family breakfast-room set up. Guests can sit at a bar and enjoy interacting with the Chef while he does his work.

The master cabin is particularly spacious for a yacht of this size, with the full beam of the yacht, lots of walk-in closet space, and a study area.

The two VIP cabins forward are very comfortable, and there is also a single cabin with en-suite facilities.

MYBA Terms: The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning material and basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins, etc., the crew’s wages, food and the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer’s liability insurance. The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses. These include fuel for the yacht, fuel for the ski-boats or other tenders, food for the charterers, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks for the Charterers, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht’s own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and/or electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via Satcom, Radio Telephone or telex costs, hire costs of special equipment placed on board at the request of the Charterer and crew gratuities. David has 23 years of experience as a professional Captain/Engineer. He spent the last 9 years as Captain of a 39m Maiora based in Mallorca providing an excellent service, with many returning clients and superb reviews. Spanish born Ares graduated with a degree in Naval Engineering and Marine Engineering. She developed her practical skills through her apprenticeship in the Spanish Marine Merchant Navy, and further gained experience during her extensive work in the shipyard. She loves everything that involves the sea and water.

Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, and fortunate enough to having left footprint in nearly 15 countries over 3 continents, Asia, Europe and Oceania, Yen has developed a great knowledge of the different cuisines around the world and the beauty in sophistication of the simplest dishes. A passionate traveller, who is always hungry for exciting and flavourful adventures, driven by curiosity and a thirst for culinary knowledge around the world.

Sebastiano Chiesa

Sebastiano is from Varese, Italy. He took a degree in Business & Administration Hospitality Management at Les Roches, Switzerland. He has previously worked in 5 star hotels, both in Italy and London, where he was able to perfect his skills in the service industry. Super organised, he takes care of the accounts and administration as well.

I realize that Moscow is on the Volga River, which connects to the Caspian Sea, but I’m wondering how foreign vessels can reach it? Or do foreign travel companies just buy a yacht that’s already "in the system"?

From the Caspian Sea, Gary, yachts come up the Volga then on to the Oka River and enter a tributary call the Moskva ("Moscow" in Russian) River. Alternate route is Volga to man-made Moscow Canal (which connects Volga to Moskva River). The big superyachts can’t get into the city limits because the river is only 3 inches deep. Just outside of the city, however, the water is 6 meters deep, perfect for large yachts. Yacht passengers easily travel into the city by limousine. (I imagine thoughts of hovercrafts, etc are a consideration for someday…) James Bond, anyone?

Two important events saw the Mangusta Maxi Open by the prominent Italian builder Overmarine again protagonist on the nautical scene: Marine Max exclusive partner for the United States attended the Palm Beach Boat Show , running from March 22 to 25 with the spectacular motor yacht Mangusta 92 and the Mangusta 130 superyacht on display. Burevestnik Group, on the other hand, was the star of the Moscow International Boat Show , taking place from March 20 to 25 exhibiting the scale models of the luxury yacht Mangusta Oceano 148, the superyacht Mangusta 92, the Mangusta 165 as well as Mangusta 130 yachts.

Mangusta 92 Superyacht

MANGUSTA 92 ( an example of Mangusta 92 is the motor yacht ILLUSION ) Stylish and fast luxury motor yacht Mangusta 92 represents perfect proportions. She offers an ambitious layout that permits for 3 beautiful staterooms and a relax room or 4 staterooms, each with high-tech entertainment centers. Run by twin MTU 16V2000M94 of 2600Hp each and Kamewa 56S3 jet drives, the Mangusta 92 achieves the exciting speed of 37 knots.
