Who is billionaire Philip Green?

Green is the color of money, and for a man with Green in his name, there can only be an abundance of wealth. He boasts a net worth of $1.2 billion and runs the British retail empire Arcadia Group with his wife, Cristina Green. The company was behind well-known fashion brands like Topshop, Top Man, and Dorothy Perkins but went bankrupt in 2020. The 72-year-old college dropout started his first business at age 21, importing jeans from Asia with a $30,000 loan from his family. Of course, he turned it all around and became a billionaire who is based at a London hotel during the week and spends time at home with his family during weekends in Monaco. The tycoon also owns a £20 million Gulfstream G550 private jet and two other superyachts in addition to a fancy Monopoly set gifted by his wife featuring his own acquisitions. The 63.5m/208'4" motor yacht 'Lioness V' (ex. Lionheart) by the Italian shipyard Benetti offers flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins and features interior styling by Argent Design.

From bow to stern, Lioness V is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter. Her features include a movie theatre and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2006, Lioness V offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, three double cabins and two twin cabins. The supremely spacious full beam master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room as well as a his and her bathroom. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 king, 3 queen and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained such as a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. You can visit the well-equipped gym so that you can keep up with your fitness routine at sea plus sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Lioness V benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,800 nautical miles from her 170,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy endless days of fun on the water with the exceptional collection of water toys and accessories aboard Lioness V. Principle among these are sailboats to bring out the explorer in you. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Additionally, there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Lioness V also features waterskis, a Kite Surfer, scuba diving equipment, a seabob, wakeboards and much more. When it comes to Tenders, Lioness V has you covered - with two tenders, including a 7m/23' Novurania Tender.

Lioness V and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is also accepting bookings this winter on request.

Philip Green's superyacht docks in Palma

Lionheart considered one of the most luxurious yacht in the world.

A super-yacht owned by former retail king, Philip Green, docked in Palma this week and is moored in the Club de Mar. The current 90-metre Lionheart yacht is the third commissioned by Green to be built by Benetti Yachts (project FB262). [1] With contracts signed in 2012, it is built of steel with an aluminium superstructure. Completed in early 2016, after sea trials off Livorno, it undertook a commissioning run to Malta in May, able to cruise at a speed of 15 knots (28 km/h; 17 mph).

She is a fully equipped yacht with her own Helicopter Landing Pad, At anchor Stabilizers , Gym, Spa, Jacuzzi (on deck), Lift (Elevator), Swimming Pool, Beach Club, Beauty Salon, BBQ, Tender Garage, Swimming Platform, Air Conditioning, Underwater Lights, Owner Study, Exterior Bar.

90m Benetti superyacht Lionheart delivered to owner

Benetti has delivered its largest yacht to date, the 90 metre Lionheart . Built as hull FB262, Lionheart is the third yacht to be ordered from Benetti by the same owner.

Lionheart  has a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, but the yacht and its build have been shrouded in secrecy from the outset. However, it is known that  Stefano Natucci  collaborated with Benetti on the exterior design and  Green & Mingarelli Design  is responsible for the interior design.

Lionheart has a sporty look, with a curved superstructure that ties the four decks together. It would appear from the photos that the garage is up forward, with side-opening doors for easy launching of the tenders.

The private balconies on the main deck are a notable addition and will offer great views from the accommodation, while more shell doors around the transom suggest a large beach club that can be opened on both sides.

Lionheart is the third Benetti to be ordered by the same owners, and replaces the 63.50 metre Lionheart (now Lioness V ), which was launched in 2006. Lioness V is one of the best luxury yachts newly available for charter in 2016 .

Lionheart is the biggest launch ever from the Italian yard. It overtakes the 85.9 metre Kingdom 5KR , which was launched in 1980 and is one of our favourite Benetti superyachts . Benetti has over 30 yachts on its order books, including an even bigger project, the 107 metre FB277 . Construction is well underway, with the three hull sections transported to the yard in December 2015 , and delivery is expected in 2019.
