We just had our daughters wedding reception at Gig Harbor Yacht Club and it was very successful! With over 150 guests in attendance the yacht club facility worked out perfectly! The Club had plenty of parking space. The bar area is large and well furnished and there's plenty of space for a 4 piece band. The main seating area could have hosted 200 people with great tables and chairs. There's plenty of dance floor space between the bar and band area. The kitchen was very good and well outfitted for our caterers needs. I didn't give GHYC all 5 stars because we did have few issues that were partly the clubs responsibilities and partly our caterers. GHYC is very reasonable priced and the Event Manager was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process!

I just had my small little wedding and reception at this place. Not only was it smaller and affordable, but it was the perfect location and just what we were looking for. Leah was such a wonderful help and answered any and all questions that I had and was extremely flexible with time when it came to looking and relooking at this venue. I recommend this place to anyone!!

I absolutely loved working with the GHYC! Our Girls Soccer Team was looking for an extra special location for our end of season banquet and the GHYC provided just that for an amazing price. Our ladies and families had worked hard to raise money all year, so we were on a tight budget. The club had EVERYTHING we needed for a perfect event and they were so easy to work with on each stage of planning. The venue included tables, chairs, plenty of space, and a state of the art sound system and presentation setup for the end of season collage(tears and laughter included). We loved the ability to support a local business and they returned the love by supporting our local student athletes. Host your event here and enjoy!! Roll Tide!

DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE, or hold any events for that matter. I got married here and my wife had changed out of her wedding dress into a dinner gown and had left the dress in the coat closet. It was a long long night as weddings usually are and we accidentally left the dress in the closet. We made an appointment after the honeymoon to pick it up. Traveled very far to get back there and the owner never arrived to let us in. We waited nearly an hour and couldn't get ahold of her by phone. She clearly doesn't see any importance in you after you've already paid for the venue. So a we found the time to try and travel for another appointment and tried getting ahold of her again. We found out they donated the wedding dress to GOODWILL. She clearly doesn't care at all about her clientele as soon as you pay your money for the venue her caring attitude goes out the window. Wouldn't be surprised if she sold it and kept the money herself. Don't let your wedding memories be tainted by a greedy venue host.
